I looked forward to every bi monthly silk press appointment with Corliss until I realized how damaging they were for my natural coils. My last appointment in August left my hair thinner and more damaged than ever before, so much that I had to cut off a bit of length on my own. I will not be returning.

This woman has a gift. 10/10 would recommend. Her products are gentle on the hair and smell wonderful. She is friendly and fun, with a gentle hand and gave me the best retwist I’ve ever had in my life. Worth the travel time (I came from the east bay)

Corliss is a miracle worker. Healthy hair and perfect curls (3C). Easy to maintain at home. She gave the support I needed to go from a bun of below shoulder hair to a perfect pixie.

I recently came here for the first time to get two strand twist n let me tell you this girl corliss knows what she’s doing. She been doin hair for way over a decade and she’s very intelligent, talented, talkative n beautiful. She told me about my hair type, how to manage it, how to maintain my two strand twists. Shes a pure soul that deserves more love n attention so please check this place out. Sarah is very talented too and knows her stuff very well i feel bc she’s new she doesn’t have much recognition but she knows her stuff well so give her a shot too. I’m definitely comin back soon for another style.

Increíble! Le pedí un corte Bob corto, y aunque nos las ingeniamos con el lenguaje(hablo español) mostrándole fotos también, ella me entendió tal cual quería el corte, me dejó increíble, me encantó! Les recomiendo hacerse una mascarilla, te hace hasta dormir de lo relajante que es🫢🫶🏽 Dejo un Antes y después del corte, estaba recto y me hizo capas🫶🏽

Made an appointment online for Saturday 5/18. I arrive on time only to be informed that I did not have an appointment. I expained to her that appointment was booked online and she said to me that it is recommended that appointments should be made over the phone, even thought her website allows online booking. I told her that I had traveled from the san leandro area, however she appeared to not care. She didn't even bother to offer me a new appointment or suggest to me that she could fit me in. She was indifferent at best. The customer service was very poor. I won't return.

Corliss is amazing! She washed my hair with so much ease though most salons have great difficulty she had no issues at all. My hair didn’t tangle with the wash as it does at other salons. She asked about the products I typically use in my hair to mimic & ensure my style fell how I wanted. She gave me great tips on how to separate my curls as well. She was quick and welcoming. I will def return.! The first photo (white shirt) is how I arrived to the salon. The second photo (green shirt) is how I left with my finger coils. The third photo (black sweater) is 2 weeks later once I separated my coils. This was my first time getting this style and she delivered!!!

Corliss is amazing!! I love love love my haircut. I have natural 3c/4a hair. I showed her a few pictures for reference. I wanted a pretty dramatic cut (layered, textured, faux hawk). She nailed it. My hair is so much easier to style now. I’m so happy with how it turned out. Also, she’s really nice and personable. I highly recommend her!!

After visiting six other salons, I have FINALLY found my safe place with Corliss at Natural Do in San Jose. When I arrived, Corliss greeted me with a warm welcome and immediately began my appointment. As someone with lots of thick hair, I've had many stylists complain about how much and how thick my hair is. Corliss was the absolute opposite, showering me with so much praise about my crown. She complimented on how healthy it was and gave me great tips on how to extend the life of my twists. In addition to doing a fabulous job on my hair, Corliss has an incredible personality and is so easy to talk to. I've been looking for someone exactly like her and I'm so glad I finally have. I already have my next appointment book and look forward to being back in Corliss' chair.
