Jay is professional, patient and knowledgeable. I came to her for a lace wig install, and she did not disappoint! I’ve had wig installs in the past that were rushed, low quality and caused damage to my hair. But Jay got me all the way together—and also consulted with me about treating my alopecia. I came in for a simple wash and cornrows for my wig . When I tell you Jay was the best stylist for the mission. Baby not only did she wash my scalp (which felt great ) she was every knowledgeable and respectful of what I wanted as a 1st time client. She made sure I approved of everything she did and every product she put in my hair before hand . So if you’re looking for a professional, respectful , and informative stylist with reasonable prices Jay is your stylist !!!!!

I had the pleasure of having the stylist Ms. Jay and when I say it was and has been a pleasure it really has. For the price I'm paying she does everything and when I say everything I mean it. She was very lovely to talk with as well as very professional. For my style she's not hurting me no nothing. As well as her hair products (HERS) they feel really nice on my scalp and not irritating as I do have a sensitive scalp. I would book again and become one of her regulars. I wouldn't want anyone else to do my hair better yet touching my hair. If you are looking for a professional, great work, and healthy hair ask for JAYYY!!!!

this visit started out as 5 stars march 9th i went to get my locs washed and retwisted. Jay had left but she came back to the shop i was please A1 tip off bat. she presented her shop as being all natural. with me having locs i was very pleased. she cleansed my scalp which felt great. but as she re-twisted my hair wayyyy to my product was use left my hair feeling like TAR. then she sprayed spritz on my head i told her i had an allergic reaction. instead of her offering to wash it out she gave half baked reasons why i would be ok ei: "I OILED YOUR HAIR SO IT WOULD NOT TOUCH YOUR SKIN' guess what it did im just now healing from the scalp irritation. i paid in full $160. plues $20. tip. although i was unhappy and she did not listen when i told her what spritz does to my skin. I think as a new Client she should ask if its ok to use certain products on people. i paid her for her time and i do support black businesses. The review is in hopes of her changing her practices. Will i come back HELL NO rule one in business is listen to you client needs.

Honestly the sweetest Salon I have been to. Very attentive and patient with my kids. It felt like we known one another for years. And she came highly recommended by my mom. And she did not disappoint. My boys hair look amazing with the detox, Retwist, and color. And I had mine detangled. I really have been looking for a place to bring my kids on the regular. We felt comfortable with her. And enjoyed the hospitality. I would definitely recommend you to stop at her salon and see what u want to get done. She is truly a hair MASTER!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Jay was definitely the best. My hair had matted up very bad from twist braids and I definitely thought it was the end of the world but she brought my hair back. She has all type of handmade products that promote hair growth as well. Thanks so much and I will be coming back every two weeks.
