I visited the salon this past Saturday and my experience was nothing short of amazing! I was warmly greeted and serviced by Jessica who made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire appointment. My hair was in need of some TLC and Jessica was so reassuring and affirmative. She kept me informed of each step and provided some great recommendations for after care. This was my first ever silk press and it won’t be my last all because of Jessica! Her service and overall energy was top tier and I will definitely be returning. Thank you Jessica and the Neal Farinah Salon! 10 10 10’a across the board!

First Time getting a Silk Press at Neal Farinah's Salon & Im soooo Happy & Very Pleased how my hair Turned out!!! My Stylist was Jessica She was VERY informative she knows Exactly what shes doing Very Professional & Gentle with my hair it didnt Hurt I Literally have No complaints whatsoever aside from the Fact that (I wished I lived closer to get my hair done more often at this Salon) but I know moving forward where to come back for my next Silk Press it definitely was giving Bundles with No Weave!!!, if you're a Natural Hair Person & want to get your hair straighten Neal Farinah's Salon is where you need to Go & Make sure to Book your Next Silk Press with Jessica 🤩 I also received a Trim without to much hair being cut SB: I Love when stylist Actually Trims the Hair verses Cutting Over All I Give my Stylist & The Salon a 10 out of 10 Definitely will come back & the Prices are Reasonable won't Hurt your pockets at All but will have you feeling FABULOUS after being Styled

Janelle is amazing. Was very patient and listened to my thoughts/vision for my haircut. Took her time and very detail oriented. And she's not scissor happy! Took off the perfect amount to retain length while removing deadends and shaping my hair wonderfully

I first went to this salon sometime Oct2021, the owner gave me an amazing silk press. Second time two weeks later with a different stylist was a miss, so I stopped going for a while. Later I decided to try again and the salon had a price increase but it wasn’t that much, so I started going back 2x a month again(I’m heat trained and hate doing my own hair). My last three appointments were with a new stylist there who actually does do a great job. Second to last appointment he was kind of pushy about a steamer treatment and my bill was a little more which was no big deal($215). Their steamer is kind of cheap and drips a lot but my hair looked great so I didn’t care. FYI I get all receipts sent to my phone. But my last(and final) appointment 2 weeks later was just a basic silk press, no extras, no steamer, etc and the total was $225. I’d been there for 3 hours so I was over it/paid/tipped(20%) and left, but on my way home I checked the receipt from 2 weeks ago. Based on my last visit with the steamer($20 extra according to their booking app) my total was $30 dollars more than it should have been. And when I had gone to the desk to pay I remember I actually had to wait a bit/he made some show about not being able to find and write down my invoice on a real receipt, so in retrospect it was kind of shady, and no my hair didn’t grow 5 inches in 2 weeks to justify a longer hair charge. So, I actually called later and asked the receptionist about the bill mistake and she promised to call back or have him call me and clear it up. Did anyone call? Nope. My first and last appointments were the same basic silk presses. First appointment with the owner was $100. Last appointment was $225. Do they do a great job? Sure. Is it worth a 125% price increase? Eh.

As a Mature Woman, I was concern with a Hairstylist that I will meet for the first time. However, Jessica put my mind at ease. We talked about what "I" want and she discussed what she could do and how it would be done. " Excellent Results."

This is hands down the best of the best hair salons in Brooklyn. I went there today as a new customer and everyone was very professional, welcoming and friendly. My stylist Idris is amazing. He is very meticulous and efficient while doing my hair and gave me the exact look I wanted. He will be my new hairstylist permanently. I highly recommend this salon / Idris .

Crystal Flowers is the best. She made my mom and I feel so comfortable and she knows what she's doing when it comes to hair coloring, great cut for mom and made my hair grow. Love her.

I've been going here for over 15yrs before Neal became the owner. The service has always been great. Roger has been my stylist from the start of me getting locs to having them down my back. I no longer live in NY but when I'm in town This is where I go to get my locs done.
