I love it when I come here. I had a lot of damaged hair from bleaching it for so long and Monique helped me cut my hair. I didn’t know what o wanted but we looked at some photos and was able to pick one that fit me. She great o would highly recommend coming here. I don’t go anywhere else!!!

I love going to Monique. It was hard leaving my previous stylist when I moved to the bay and I finally found someone I can trust. I’ve been visiting for a little of a year and she even did the most beautiful highlights for my wedding recently. 10/10 every time.

Monique did such a great job at cutting and styling my hair, she listened to what I wanted and let me know what would work and what wouldn’t with my hair type. She took the time to teach me what tools to use and how to style my hair. I felt very comfortable and relaxed.

Monique was friendly and knowledgeable. She knew how to deal with my crazy tangled curly hair. Not only did she know what kind of cut I needed, but she explained how I could do it on my own at home. I loved working with Monique. She listened and absolutely understood what I was looking for. I was so happy with my hair cut I couldn’t help but look at myself in the rearview mirror at stops on my drive home. So be careful ;)

Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had getting my hair done! Monique is knowledgeable and talented, it definitely shows in her work. She made sure I knew what she was doing every step of the way and invited any/all questions. She listened to what I wanted and came up with the perfect plan to achieve my hair goals while keeping the integrity of my hair. Do not hesitate to book an appt with Monique! I have to say I'm always walking out this salon happy & confident. Thanks to Monique my hair stylist. I always get so many compliments on my hair. She actually listens to my ideas and works her magic. I also thank her for teaching me how to properly shampoo & condition my hair. Seems silly but honestly the best thing I could have followed. Less dry scalp. Both ladies at the salon have their own unique skills. I definitely recommend them/the salon!!

Monique Monique at Nevermore Salon is amazing! I first experienced Monique when I won a free haircut at Bishops in Campbells a few years back. She did a simple cut and style but I was very happy. It was far and I wasn’t bold with my hair so I didn’t go back. I followed her on Instagram and saw all her amazing color work but thought I could never do that to my hair. Then for some reason I decided yes I wanted purple in my hair but wasn’t ready to go crazy and i wanted to know it would be done well and proper so i did some research. I also found out she had her own salon now and made an appointment for another cut and style with free color consult to discuss my options. I showed her my ideas and what I was thinking I wanted and she said “i got this, let’s set you up” I went back and she did magic to my hair! I have never dyed my hair but she was very gentle and walked me through everything. That’s one of the things I love about her! She tells you how it is. She even taught me how to wash my hair correctly! I’m hooked. My job doesn’t allow me to go crazy with hair color but she did it so well that it’s subtle, you only see it when I want you to see it! 😜 How amazing is that?? If you want your hair to rock go to Monique at Nevermore Salon and your world will be blown!

Monique is an artist! She gave me a beautiful asymmetrical haircut. I told her what I wanted and needed, and her interpretation was more than satisfying. I have had my hair cut by her at least four times, and she has never disappointed me. Have I mentioned I am very particular about my hair haha! Nevermore Salon is scrupulously clean; COVID-19 protocols are strictly observed. Clients are spaced out, and the shop is shiny clean. Monique and her sister are co-proprietors and the decor reflects their personalities- it is a zen spot to get away in. I cannot say enough good about Monique.

I got my hair done with Monique, she was so professional, patient and knowledgeable! Not only the place was super clean and neat, her aesthetic is very cool, dark/rob zombie ish and I love it. I didn’t know what I actually wanted for my hair but she took the time to explore all the options with me. I killed my hair with a lot of boxed colors but she revived it and now it looks healthier than ever. She even gave me some advice on how to prolong the colors and maintain the hair. She is so sweet and bubbly so she made me feel comfortable! She even fixed the haircut that my previous hair stylist messed up. Thank you Monique! I will definitely be back for more.

I had a hair coloring service and cut done by Monique. Even before the appointment, she was patient and prompt in answering messages or questions I had. I went from black dyed hair to, at first, a warm tone blonde. I ended up not feeling the warm tones and a couple days later went back and got toned again to a cooler tone. Monique was super cool about everything. I felt super comfy in her salon. Just overall great vibes! Her cut and color left me feeling refreshed and confident. I look forward to coming back to her for any future hair services I may need!

Monique has been cutting my hair for many years and for good reason. I'm kind of picky so when say I always get a really great, consistent cut every single time I see either Monique or Dominique I really mean it. If I want to change my hair style I'm asked questions about how exactly I want my hair and am explained how I'd have to go about getting the style I want if I were to grow out my hair for example. Both Monique and Dominique are professional yet really fun to interact with. The space is really warm and welcoming with lots of beautiful plants, decor and really chill music. This is definitely a really great place to go if you're looking for a perfect haircut and stylists that make you feel comfortable and have great advice when it comes to your hair. I couldn't recommend coming here more! :)

Monique really helped ya girl out. She was super patient and listened to what I wanted and worked from there. I really appreciated how she was always checking to make sure I liked what she was doing. I had really long hair and I decided to chop it all off, but was nervous on deciding who I was going to go to. No regrets on having Monique cut my hair, she did awesome and everyone loves it!
