Love this place! Have been going here for over 2 years and Natalie is a star with curly hair! I get a cut and highlights every time and feel great every time I leave. They do such great work for reasonable prices.

Walked away with a fine looking haircut but was really frustrated with it coming out much shorter than I asked - despite pleading many times in many ways that I wanted to keep it long, the gals were much more excited about the “transformation” happening and the photo op. I felt totally ignored as she followed her own vision and chopped away my hard earned length :( It was a nice shop and really pleasant experience otherwise (and the haircut does look fine!) but just frustrating when I was really specific with the ask. Don’t want this review to be hurtful as I do appreciate the work, but just something to be paid attention to :)

What an amazing salon! I go religiously every 3 weeks. I can’t speak highly enough of all the stylists, they go above and beyond to make each client comfortable and happy. Great job Cindy!

MJ is absolutely amazing. I have dark hair naturally and she has brought it to the beautiful bright blonde color I’ve always wanted, without breakage and damage. Do yourself a favor and book her!

After moving down from New York City, I was hesitant to try salons in Charlotte to try and match a quality New York style haircut. New Creations does a fantastic job and exceeded my expectations. I was lucky to find such a great salon on the first try. If you are new to the Charlotte area or are looking for a better barber, come here - they are unmatched!

Cindy has run a Great Shop Since 1982. Amazing. Wow and she is still only 39 yoa. LOL I have straight hair and only Cindy cuts my hair to look smooth with no lines ever. The shop always Sparkles and the Service is always Bubbly. HOT towel after the cut and free parking. Prices are fair and once I went somewhere else and just got chopped. I go out of my way to go uptown. Cindy is worth it.

Excellent service and friendly staff. I came in on a whim after my previous haircut somewhere else was screwed up. My hair is finally fixed and I was treated well, the shampoo massage was also very relaxing!

Came in 20 minutes early. Did greet me - appeared busy. Did offer me water as hair stylist was running 10 minutes behind. All hairstylists seemed like they were very good at what they do. Very pretty, professional looking staff. Haircut was great. Amy, originally from Wisconsin did a great job

I have been going to New Creations for about 15 years now and honestly I don't think there is a better salon in town and my stylist Natalie is wonderful and talented. She always does an awesome job whether it's a cut and or highlights, I am always more than pleased. You will not be disappointed, I promise you. Thanks Natalie, you always make me feel wonderful.

Ive been looking for a place to get my hair cut in uptown for a reasonable price for a while. Called the day before and they fit me in with no difficulty. Walked in at my appointment time and was taken back right away. I just needed a simple routine trim which took only 30 minutes. Elisha cut my hair and she was so friendly and kind. Not being from Charlotte but been here over a year she is the nicest and friendliest person I have interacted with. Happy with my haircut and I will be going back again!

I have been going to New Creations since before I could remember. When I was a little girl, Cindy, the owner, would masterfully cut my hair and while I waited for her to do the same with my mom and sister, I would go around and sweep up fallen locks off the floor. I have no clue why my little kid self wanted to do this but it seemed like fun at the time! These days I've grown up and moved away, but every time I go somewhere else they just don't understand my curly hair. I find myself scheduling appointments for New Creations near holidays when I go home to Charlotte. I see the stylist Natalie now, us curly haired girls have to stick together; she always does an amazing job! She can always work me into her busy schedule, even coming in early before the shop opens. New Creations is like family, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I was visiting out of town and made an impromptu appointment for highlights. My stylist (Chloe) was awesome. The color came out great and was quicker than my normal stylist back home. I would highly recommend her and New Creations.
