As a guy who hasn’t gotten a haircut from a salon in 4 years due to consistent bad haircuts, I can confidently say I’m coming back here again! I had Sara do a deva cut since I have temperamental, frizzy curls. She did a great job listening to the problems I encounter, the things I’ve tried, and she asked plenty of questions (good thing!). She also gave me lots of good tips and recommendations outside of just what products to use, products aren’t one size fits all and she was very straightforward about it. I even followed up a few days later with questions about maintenance and she was very open to answering whatever I had

I came in for a full chop and was greeted by a beautiful scenery of boho and plants!! It was so cozy, and clean, It literally felt like my own apartment! I worked with James, who was SO FUN TO TALK WITH. Everyone in the salon hyped me up the entire haircut, and for my first time ever going here, I felt like I had known these people forever. That’s what a hair salon should be. I was shampooed, brushed, diffused, and chopped. I had such a good experience in this salon, and as a curly girly, LOOK NO FURTHER!!! ✨🥰

Love James, he has cut my hair for many years now and he also cuts my boyfriend’s hair. I have naturally curly hair but prefer to wear it straight. He does great work.

I loved my time spent here and adore the way my hair turned out. Sara turned my blonde waves into CURLS and I can’t say enough good about her work! Cree was very nice and did a wonderful job on my hair. It was my first time there and first time getting a Diva cut. I showed up with dirty hair bc I didn’t know I needed to have come with it washed and styled. Cree was SO nice about it and was still able to do a beautiful job. I will absolutely be back in the future to see her. Also a beautiful salon and a great environment.

What a fantastic salon! From the moment you walk in it feels so comfortable that it is like walking into a good friend’s living room. Sarah James and Cree are very welcoming and it puts you at ease right away. Cree is my stylist and although I would follow her anywhere, this salon is a great fit for her easy manner. The first time I saw her I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my hair so after talking to her and having her explain things to me, I told her that I trusted her to know what was best for my face shape and a routine that I could do myself at home, she did not disappoint. I have loved my hair and received many compliments on it since she has been taking care of me. Cree is my forever stylist!

I've been seeing my stylist, Cree, for almost 4 years now. The level of trust I have in her is honestly incomparable; I am not one to so easily hand out trust to anyone, ever. She is so outstanding at her craft that I get personally offended at the thought of someone else touching my hair. Wherever she goes, I will follow. That said, this was my first visit to this salon ever since Cree left her previous location to join New Creations. It had been 7 months since my last appointment with her because I have started to grow my hair out, so I was mildly anxious going into a new establishment. Vibe check? PASSED. The moment I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome from everyone there, which instantaneously put me at ease. James & Sara were incredibly friendly, with inviting personalities that soothed my anxious soul into a state of comfort. It honestly felt like I had been going there for years and knew all the staff personally. All things considered, this is, hands down, the absolute best salon that I have ever stepped foot in. Personally, this is the pinnacle of what a salon experience should be like. The atmosphere is unmatched; the artwork decorating the interior is easy on the eyes. The establishment itself is well-kept and organized. The cherry on top is that all three of the stylists there are knowledgeable artisans of their craft and very friendly, personable, & engaging. Rest assured, you could book with any of the three stylists (Cree, Sara, & James) and walk out of there with confidence and possibly even a new forever stylist. 💯🤘🏻

I’ve been looking for a curly hair specialist for a long time and after looking at many reviews online I decided to try New Creations Salon. I booked my appointment online with Cree and I had a wonderful experience! Cree, Sarah and James were all so welcoming upon my arrival. Cree and I talked about my hair and what I was looking for with my curly cut. She gave me exactly what I needed! She asked lots of questions about my hair routine and offered suggestions to help me. I’m very happy with my cut and will definitely come back and refer my curly hair friends!

Absolutely love the stylists and the vibe! I got highlights and a curly haircut from Cree, and I love it! It’s so hard to find people who cut curly hair so well and she did amazing. She really listened to what I wanted and helped me make an informed decision since this was my first time putting color in my hair. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a curly hair cut, and some very friendly and fun staff.

I have been coming to this salon for Sara for many years now. I won't let anyone else touch my hair. She's brought my hair back to life, always has a smile on her face and, treats us all like family. My daughter and I have been sing Cree for years! We have followed her from salon to salon and so happy that she has landed at New Creations. I won't trust anyone but Cree with my curly hair and the other hair stylists in the salon also seem super knowledgeable. The salon is beautiful and clean. The vibes are top notch. I’m sure Sara appreciates the clients that are able to schedule appointments regularly, but she’s awesome at putting up with my insane schedule. The minute I walked into New Creations I was made to feel at home just a wonderful atmosphere. But most of all the authenticity of my hairdresser Steven. He is very good at his job and in a natural ability to do so. Love our visits. I was glad hear his move to another salon was just down the road at another wonderful establishment "Got Hair Midtown" just a few minutes at 315 Westport! So if your looking for a great Curly Cut you know where to find him!

Sara has been my stylist for years. There is no one else I would trust with my hair. She is the queen of blonde, pink, purple and any other color you could imagine. Her instincts on what color would look good on you are top notch. She’s also not afraid to give you her opinion and change your color if needed. Just had a curly cut done today by Steven Dawdy and he truly impressed me! I absolutely love the new style and I’ll most definitely be coming back when I need another cut. I love love love my new hair! He and his team are all also super funny and keep me talking and laughing through my whole appointment, definitely recommend them!
