Maria did a fantastic job with my cowlick ridden hair! She was super kind and friendly. Maria was careful to understand what it was that I wanted and checked with me throughout. Her husband was present, as well, and I enjoyed chatting with the two of them. I will definitely go back on my next visit to Chicago.

I went to get a pixie cut, and Maria did it SOOO well! She’s very professional and clearly knows what she’s doing. The price is also very good. Highly recommend her to everyone!! Just fyi, you have to call and book an appointment in advance. The salon is on the 13th floor (a bit down the hallway of what looks like offices), in case you get confused.

Comfortable, quiet atmosphere & constantly great haircuts. I'm especially happy since I have very difficult straight hair which Maria always makes it look great (even after 19 years)!!

Maria was very detail oriented, patient, and friendly. Having very straight and fine hair, I've often found it difficult to find a barber that can cut my hair well. Maria did a great job! Place is a little hard to find - as mentioned below, the real address is 79 W Monroe, suite #1325.

Maria is awesome!! My family has loved her for over 10 years and we will continue to be loyal to her until she leaves Chicago, lets hope this doesnt happen. We all have different hair textures and she leaves us all feeling beautiful after each visit. Go see Maria!!!

A small, comfortable, inexpensive barbershop run by a lady who knows what she's doing. Maria us friendly and professional and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. I liked my haircut (which is unusual).

I'm in Chicago for only part of the year but have been a customer of Maria's for a long time, following her from her old place in the Randolph Tower. She has been the best barber I've had in my life.
