I recently got a balayage done by Daniela, and I am in love! She did an amazing job! Her warm and friendly personality made the whole experience delightful. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and executed it flawlessly. I'm thrilled with how my hair turned out and have been receiving so many compliments! I will definitely be back🤍

I believe my hairstylist’s name was Michaela they did an amazing job cutting my hair. I came in with an idea of what I wanted and they helped with the vision. Def recommend this location very nice and welcoming vibes.

Expectations were high, didn’t turn out to be anything but a low review. I was looking and found a place to take my 15 year old daughter to get highlights for her upcoming birthday, since it was last minute and my stylists was not available. With her birthday coming up, she wished to get highlights done for her first time. I booked my appointment online and paid the deposit. Couldn't find starting prices online, so I decided to call the salon. I prefer to know ahead of the service, just to avoid any miscommunication. I called after booking an appointment for new client partial highlights and cut. The young lady over the phone put me on hold to confirm. I got a response and was told the starting price is $150. Thanked her for her time, and we disconnected. My daughter was overjoyed and ecstatic to get her highlights done on short notice. We arrived, waited to be called. Greeted by Sarah, who is a level 1 specialist. She guided my daughter into the seat for the service to begin. I expressed that my daughter was shy so I could explain what she would like. I begin to tell Sarah that my daughter wants partial highlights as scheduled, but would prefer the highlights to not be so bold, as a light blonde color but preferable more of a darkee tone, like brown/caramel, since she has dark hair. Continued explaning the cut preference is just a regular cut, maybe a couple of inches off to keep length. I even expressed that we dont want her to blow dry it, just to leave it curly. As she doesn't like to put unnecessary heat to her hair. This time of year for her, it doesn't keep. The hairstylists understood. Before walking away, she said, "Let me just make sure to know how much." She came back and then said, "It'll be - around - $240." I was dissapointed to hear this and shared info on my recent conversation with the salon upon booking. Sarah acknowledged and asked me for the name of the person I spoke to. I didn't take a name, unfortunately, but offered to show her the call stamp, date, and time. She ignored that and stated, "Yeah, that's just what we charge for that service." "For the color, the toner, and the cut." I had my daughter get up from the stylists chair. Sarah walked to the computer and then just walked away. Dear owner and/or Salon Manager: I could've and would've paid for this service at your salon and I think it's important to compensate for the time, money and experience spent on having a service done by a hair stylists. So, again, if I would've known this before my arrival, I would've paid. The money is not the issue but how we were treated. However, at that moment, your salon did not need a cent from me. I wouldn't even give a si gle cent to this salon, nor would I refer anyone here. In fact, lead them away from using your services and referring them to another stylist who has a professional approach for that matter. This is a never-ending growing industry and location. Your business is profitable because of your clients, not your stylists. They can be replaced anytime. Do better. List your starting prices. Train your floor and receptionists and handling incoming calls and how to treat others with respect. Note: I still have not received my deposit and will kindly ask for this to be handled promptly and courteously. Best of luck.

I received the most thorough service from Sarah @newidenties. Highly recommend!!!!! She talked me through what my hair needed as far as my cut and absolutely stunned me by achieving my inspiration picture TO THE T 🙌🏼🙌🏼 will be coming back for all my hair needs, Thanks Sarah!!!

Jason did an incredible job on my curly hair! From the moment I sat in his chair, I felt completely at ease. He listened carefully to what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. The color is vibrant and exactly what I was hoping for, and the cut brings out the best in my curls. Jason's attention to detail and expertise with curly hair are unmatched. I’ve never been happier with my hair. Highly recommend!

The worst attitude and responsibility I've ever seen in my life! I signed me and my daughter for today to do a haircut and when I came I asked how long time it will take for me to finish my hair so she would come after me. They said 40 minutes approximately and the same I told to the lady on reception....but when my daughter came right after 40 minutes they told her that they can't take her as she came late. I was shocked as I asked before and no one said anything. As excuse they said me it was just miscommunication! I spoke to manager but she just said 'sorry, I can schedule you for next time'. I understood that this salon doesn't care about their clients at all! It was my first and last time I came to this place. Hope the owners will take my words into consideration!!!

I called and specifically, explicitly asked if they had a curl specialist. On the phone, I clarified I was looking to learn about my hair (maintaining patterns, protein, routines were mentioned by name) and would be willing to pay extra for a consultation and cut. They assured me a stylist would be very knowledgeable and I would be in good hands. Great! The haircut was okay, the people were very friendly and made me feel nice, and the atmosphere was very chic and industrial/boho. However. She couldn't tell me anything about my hair type. "Protein" was a buzzword; she could not explain WHY my hair needed it, how much, etc. I'm gullible and bought all the products the stylist recommend. I was very happy with a few products, but when I used the hair mask, my already bleach damage hair--the whole reason I was asking for the mask--got overproteinized! The EXACT THING I asked about to avoid! My hair was breaking putting on a t shirt when it dried. I called, and they wouldn't give me any advice except to come in (i couldn't until the next day). I managed to call around and get some advice on how to SAVE MY HAIR. I still went the next day. I went in the next day and she really ARGUED with me. Ma'am. My hair DID NOT look "great." No matter how many times you told me it looked "great," "fine," or whatever other qualifier. This was NOT the "dryness I was worried about before." My hair never looked WORSE. The least you could do was acknowledge that and fix it without embarrassing me further! I had to argue to get a treatment, then they charged me to fix THEIR MISTAKE, and had the audacity to ASK FOR A TIP. They offered me store credit for the mask instead of a refund--like I'll EVER be back. Do yourself a favor. If you have curly or problematic hair, avoid this place. They have a great vibe for people with simple requests. The girl with the amazing colored hair is the reason I am giving two stars instead of one because she was so sweet and makes me think there is talent and knowledge there.

I've been coming here for over nine years and I can definitely tell you that you're missing out by not coming here. Jason is extremely friendly and always does an amazing job with my hair. New Identities Hair Studio is the BEST in town.

Unfortunately was not satisfied with the highlights. I left home the same way I went to the salon, no difference at all. I felt that I paid $250 for nothing. The hair dresser was really nice though and the shampoo was very comforting.

I went in for a cut and bread trim. The host was polite, cheerful, and just all-around AMAZING. Courtney cut was my stylist. She had a positive attitude and did an outstanding job. I will for sure be visiting again.
