If you’re not Dominican,, you are not welcome here. The lady look like she has an attitude problem. Her face from the start looks mean I do not recommend you to come here Also overpriced for some simple stuff that you wanna do here .

From my very first visit I was welcomed like family. This is now our to go to salon for my family. They have gave a great blow out for natural and relaxed hair.

I sent my teen daughter to get a wash, roller set, blow dry, flat ironed and trim. The lady that washed and did her rollers provided bad customer service. My daughter had to call me to let me know that the service was not starting good as expected but she seen how the stylist nicely finish some else’s hair. As my daughter was describing the service it was obvious that the lady didn’t have knowledge on how to care for 4c hair. After the bad shampoo my daughter ask to leave the hair treatments on her hair for few minutes under the dryer and the lady told her no and just washed it out, then she started detangling from root to tip and the horrible roller set which made it harder for the hairdresser to blow dry. They need to get an experienced assistant!

They burned my natural hair. It took multiple washes to get rid of the smell and me curls never returned

It was good , my 2nd visit. My only concern is the owner didn’t let me fully explain what I wanted to do cause of lack of understanding from her end. She doesn’t speak English much. But in all, she’s a nice person. I will always go there now that I live in Frederick.

I had an appointment scheduled for 4 pm today. I received a text and email cancellation notice today within less than 2 hours of my scheduled appointment. Poor service! 0 stars is more accurate!

Walked in with my daughter, asking if anyone could do her hair WAS NOT TALKING BOUT TODAY! She just said oh no do you have an appointment I kept saying no, In a few days lady kept saying ohh no you need an appointment I UNDERSTAND THAT, I’m asking to make the appointment like what part don’t she understand so no DO NOT RECOMMEND! Customer service bad.

Went in randomly after working in the Frederick area for the day (I reside in HoCo MD). This place is a Gem!! Got a wonderful shampoo/deep conditioning/blowout and my hair has never looked better!! Thank you 🙏🏽!! If I’m ever in the area again I will be back!! 10 stars ⭐️

If you have type 4 hair, don’t go here. I have 4b hair and I was told my hair was “too curly/too natural” as the lady used the wrong combs and brushes to detangle my hair, used the wrong detangling technique, and she just ripped an unnecessary amount of my hair out. Also, way too much heat was applied to my hair, I was at risk of heat damage. I sat under the dryer for over an hour, and that was before the blow dryer and flat iron. My hair smelt like it was burning. The result looked good but it wasn’t worth the pain, insult, and mistreatment of my hair.

This is the worst salon. I stopped coming here a while ago because they were rude when they gave me a coupon card and I had to come 6 times before I could get a free service and I came 6 times and they said I couldn’t. I came back because my original salon is an hour away and they are convenient. Today I asked them can they do a hair style which was fairly simple. It was half up half down with a curls and they are saying it can’t be done because my hair is too short. I’m like nah it can be done. I have shoulder length hair. Or a little above shoulder length. But they are saying I have to make an appointment when I just wanted my natural hair done in this style. And when they were telling me no they can’t do it . It was in a very rude tone. I tried to give this place a chance again but never again.

Best hair salon in the Ferderick area. I wish I decovered this place years ago. Reasonable price and great costumer service. On time and they advised the best care for your hair type!

I called ahead of time to inquire about getting a relaxer and set an appointment and the cost. I get there and the lady starts washing my hair, I immediately told her I wanted a relaxer and she just apologized nonchalantly. So I told her it’s fine I’ll just wash my hair instead today. She used a fine tooth comb on my 4c hair, I lost a lot of hair. She charged me $15 more than what I was quoted for a relaxer. I’ve called and no one answers or calls me back. I’ve been to many Dominican salons growing up in Jersey but this has to be the worst experience.

It’s so hard to get in contact with people from this place. Nobody keep the post at ours. You just have to call and hope somebody picks up and make an appointment. But if you do so happen to get an appointment they did do a decent job.
