First time getting my hair dyed and the results were better than I could’ve envisioned. The people here work as a team and they are orchestrated really well. It may seem chaotic because the salon gets really busy and packed quickly, but they timed every part of the process well. Joe gave me a quick consultation and his team got straight to work. Highly suggest getting an appointment and come early as seating can be limited. Overall process took about 4 hours. Very pleased and I look forward to returning for my future cuts!

Had an amazing experience at new light! Made an appointment to transform my hair before an event and they did not disappoint. They managed to get the red out of my hair and get it blonde, even though it was a long process, the new light salon team was skilled and the red didn’t stand a chance. My hair is pretty damaged from years of bleaching and I was worried the blonde would end up melting my hair off, but they managed to make my hair look better as if it was my first time dyeing it 🫡　no gatekeeping this place, 10/10 recommend!

I saw a girl walking down the street with really nice hair, and had to run after her and ask her where she got it done! She pointed me here, and this salon definitely has high quality- celebrity level hair cutters, colorists, and stylers! I personally have RAYMOND cut my hair. He is the only brave hair cutter i came across, that gave me the Elvira/mullet type hairstyle i was going for 🤩🤗 thank you for my haircut! 💇‍♀️ ❤️‍🔥 the prices are very reasonable, and at $25 for a cut, its a pleasure and satisfying to be able to leave a high tip. 💰 I am going to get a balayage next!

this is an old coloring and haircut but wanted to show appreciation for Joe (balayage) and Sam (haircut). i have been going here for a couple of years before i moved and every time i came my hair turned out perfect. the price was extremely fair as well. joe has an amazing team of people who help color hair, and he also checks up on everyone while their hair is bleaching and/or toning to make sure it is the color that they desire. i remember going to joe for a correction from another coloring at a different salon that i hated. he re-colored my hair in less than 2 hours and it looked better than the $600 i paid at a different salon. sam is amazing at cutting and styling hair - he is meticulous with every detail and provides his own opinion if you need it (such as if it would look okay going shorter, cutting bangs a certain way, etc). i LOVE the way he styled my hair and he also provided tips on how i can achieve it at home. also the team that washes hair!!!! so incredibly comforting, i fell asleep so many times while they do the wash and olaplex treatment lol i would book an appointment with both joe and sam as newlight can get fairly busy. i believe walk-ins are available for haircut -- and if you do walk-in ask for sam for your perfect haircut :) 10000% would recommend to anyone.

I got a toner with the Milton hair treatment and a cut. They were able to fix my damaged locks to looking very healthy! The cut was quick and also does the job. I will say, I did get burned a couple times from the drying hair and they did tug on it which wasn’t the most enjoyable. But I will definitely be coming back for more treatment and maybe a balayage since they are known for hair coloring!

I had a very good experience getting my balayage here at New Light. It was my first time getting my hair makeover, so I was nervous. But Joe consulted with me about my hair and oversaw the whole process. The team was quick, professional, and warm. I felt welcomed with everyone. I had a fresh cut and a new look at the end. It took about 4 and a half hours with the hair treatment. I definitely recommend this hair salon if you want to dye or cut your hair!! The service is amazing :)

I have been coming to this salon since they opened 10+ years ago for hair cuts and I am never been disappointed. I always accepted any stylist but today I had the pleasure of working with my favorite stylist to date, Sam. He really listens to you and understands hair well enough to execute a customers desires as expressed and as feasible. He understands the nuances of different face shapes/structures, hair textures, and how to execute a customers vision according to their unique features. His skill comes from a place of deep understanding & experience, but in my opinion, intuition as well. Thanks so much for the sensational haircut Sam!!

I just got my hair colored and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Joe took the time to really listen to what I wanted and offered expert advice to achieve the perfect shade for my hair. The color is absolutely stunning!! Exactly what I envisioned, if not better! The whole experience was amazing. The entire team was friendly, professional, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The products they used were high-quality, and my hair feels healthier than ever with the hair treatment they recommended!!!! I will definitely be coming back for all my future hair appointments. I love it here! I have been coming here for at least 10 years and I've gotten my hair colored, cut, trimmed or just washed (because I find the hair washing to be so relaxing here!). The staff are friendly and there is rarely ever a long wait. I highly recommend coming here.

Joe and his team are very efficient and achieves lots of different styles! Must check out his Instagram. I went in for a balayage with a milbon hair treatment and all in all took within 5 hours, which I’ve done balayages in the past that took way longer. The salon was bustling on a Saturday but his staff was attentive and achieved what I wanted. I would def come back. Thank you!

I went in so nervous as to what my hair would look like and if they would understand what I wanted! Joe is always amazing and will be honest with what will work and what will not! They did amazing job doing my hair. Before my hair was dry, damaged, and I didn’t like the color i had but after getting my hair done with them i got beautiful smooth hair with highlights. They had amazing service too, Im definitely going back again.
