I got a straightening treatment done by Emily in October 2024 and it's been great! I have naturally fine and wavy hair so I was a little nervous to see if my hair could really handle it but I've had no issues! Four months later and it still air dries straight. Of course I've had a little bit of grow out since the treatment, so I'll probably go back to Emily once a year or so to get it touched up. Emily is also so sweet and great to work with! Would definitely recommend this straightening treatment!

I have had my hair cut by Emily on and off, and stopped when I moved and the commute to New Look was too long. After a number of haircuts at other salons, I've had to accept it - Emily really is the best. The way that she can shape hair to give it the most movement and "life" possible is incredible. She is a master of her craft, and I will be schlepping myself all the way to New Look forever. She is a fabulous hairdresser. My hair type is straight and fine, bordering on limp.

Emily was very nice and opened half an hour early to give me a haircut for a special occasion with only a day's notice. The haircut was $70 and turned out well.

I love this salon! My stylist Emily is extremely talented! She has 19 years of experience & has tremendous talent for past, present, & cutting edge "new looks"! She was delightful to talk to, both personally & professionally. She explained my hair's strengths, weaknesses, the best colors & cuts, and told me about the new exciting possibilities & options! I am going to have her as my stylist from now on, as well as refer her to all of my friends & family (& anyone who asks)! I am %100 happy with the results of my coloring & her prices are very good (with how talented she is she could certainly charge more). The salon itself is comfortable, nicely decorated, & very clean.

Emily did a straightening perm for me. She was extremely patient and nice, and my hair becomes so smooth, soft and natural after it. Definitely the best straightening perm I have done in seattle. Highly recommended!

Got my hair trimmed by Emily for the first time today. Such a pleasant experience. She’s gracious and personable AND she’s really good at her craft. She was able to get my hair trimmed just the way I like it in half of the time it normally takes by every other stylists in town. I could not be happier with the result. Thank you Emily!

Emily provides a perfect man's haircut in my view. Since I found her I won't go anywhere else. She's also a very pleasant woman to talk to, and accommodating with her scheduling. She's never gotten upset with me even if a I am late by 10 or 15 minutes. I can't say a thing bad about her.

Terrible. I got my thermal reconditioning touch up done here earlier this spring, and they mutilated my hair. Not only were the women rude, but they were completely incompetent and did not follow my request for them to NOT pull the chemicals all of the way through my hair. The lady doing my hair was too lazy to make sure my hair was combed out after shampooing BEFORE she started dousing my rat's nest with relaxer. The result was breakage anywhere where she had to really yank the comb through. Then, when she tied a knot in my hair to check the processing, the knot wouldn't come out and she had to CUT IT OUT!! It was in the front of my hair too. To top it all off, they charged me almost $600 for the nightmarish experience. I know the process can be damaging, especially if you don't know what you're doing. NEVER has my hair been this much of a disaster. I actually wanted to cry after I left. This place might be good for haircuts, but nothing more. They are amateurs. Consider yourself WARNED!!
