Nancy is my hairstylist and the best at what she does! Recently I made an appointment with her now that the salon is open again and it was a great experience to go back. Upon entering you are greeted and given sanitizers and face masks for your stay. The place has also remodeled a bit to follow social distancing guidelines. So happy that New Star is open for business. Make sure to make an appointment.

Martha is the best beautician hands down!!! I've been going to her faithfully for the last 14 years. I moved to Long Island almost 4 years ago and I still drive all the way to harlem to get my hair done. I've had highlights, perms, keratin treatments, color rinses and short cuts. I don't wear weaves and can't even tell when she does them for others. Ask her and she'll tell you how to care for your hair type. Absolutely amazing

Martha is a hair God there is not one hair style that I seen her do that I didn’t love. Martha has been doing my hair for years friendly loving, helps u take care of your hair encourages you to go natural which I did ten years ago and my hair is healthy and flowing like I have a perm. Martha takes pride in her craft her gift her customers become family once you go to Martha that’s it your hooked your family everyone loves Martha!!!

OMG I love Martha. She is very down to earth, friendly and will do what's best for your hair. U: Martha, I want green hair Martha: NO, u have good job, its not age appropriate, plus the bleaching and color is NOT good for ur texture. She does NOT just do whatever, just to take ur money. She believes in her name & reputation.
