Centrally located on 38th west of 5th, this is a very clean and friendly establishment. The prices they offer are competitive and the service provided, Chinese Massage, works very well for me. The Owner is a nice young gentlemen who will make sure you are with the right masseuse for you. They have men and woman masseuses. Although they have curtains at the entrance to each room, the walls are solid and the two times I have been there now it has been quiet, a Sunday afternoon and a Tuesday morning. I chose the 90 minutes for $88 and left her a $25 dollar tip because she worked very hard during the 90 minutes and checked often with me about the pressure ($20 would be adequate but it's a matter or personal preference). Where are you going to get a legitimate 90 minute massage for under $100 unless you travel to Chinatown in Flushing. You can ask to concentrate on neck, back, legs, where you need more treatment. Mine was lower back. You get a card that after 10 visits you get a free visit. It's well worth it. I hope you like it as much as I have.

Lydia’s massage was absolutely amazing! I requested firm pressure, and she exceeded my expectations with her strong, professional technique. She skillfully used her elbows and other methods to release all the tension in my body. I love massages that focus on working out deep knots, and I’ve been searching all over Manhattan for someone like her—finally, I found the perfect place! My body feels so light, as if I’ve gotten wings. Regarding the tipping comments others have mentioned, I had a full-body 60-minute massage plus a 30-minute foot massage for $88. I paid $88 in cash and gave a $20 tip, which is 22.7%. There were no issues whatsoever, and the quality of her service was absolutely worth it. I will definitely come back on a day when Lydia is working! By the way, it seems that after 10 visits, you get 1 free session. Enjoy😉

Lydia is INCREDIBLE!!!! Omg Words!! Truly Can’t Describe How AMAZING!!! My message was!, I’ve been to so many massage parlors in NYC and for the 4 years I’ve been here and the numerous massages places especially in midtown. Nothing compares to Newself Bodywork. Not only is it affordable but there massages are truly incredible. I’m super athletic and have a lot of back problems and Lydia was truly amazing she got all the tension out of my body and it was SOO relaxing she put me to sleep LITERALLY. I felt so relaxed and had no more back and body pain. I’m definitely coming back in the next 2 weeks. 100/10 and Highly Recommend if you need a massage in Midtown. Definitely Go!! Lucy was an amazing masseuse! I liked how she was super considerate and made sure I was okay with the pressure. I’ve never had a bad massage at Newself but I highly recommend asking for her. The place is also relaxing, fairly quiet, and check in/check out is extremely efficient.

Lucy was an amazing therapist. If you like a strong massage, she is your person. If you are used to getting massages from Asian places, this place is like going to your neighborhood massage spa. If you are used to pampering, keep looking. The prices are very reasonable, 2-3 times cheaper than anything around the area.

Amazing massage. Very reasonable prices. I had so many knots in my shoulders and arms and my masseuse worked them all out like I was a crinkly piece of paper. Highly recommended! Call ahead to make sure they're available. You'll regret just walking in without an appointment and missing out. Bring cash.
