Nori is very experienced and pays attention to details, I went to get a women’s cut and the price was very reasonable. It was very important for me to have a hairdresser that is experienced with Asian hair types and it definitely makes a difference!

My fiance and myself have been regulars for years. Nori is amazing, very skilled and he truly understands what's good for my hair and look. He is very meticulous and detailed. He uses really good products for coloring and the results are always 100% satisfying. I recommended him to a lot of my coworkers (they all have a different hair type, race, skin tone and so on) and they are all happy with his work. Since I met Nori I never went to other hair salons. If you are tired of searching for the right hair designer for you, Highly highly recommend him!

Nori was SO great!! Amazing attention to detail, he did exactly what I asked for and he was also very sweet and gave great directions to how to find his studio inside of the Sola Salon galleria. I left feeling like a princess and he was also very great about explaining the techniques he was using and why he was doing it! Can’t wait to come back.

Nori is excellent and I highly recommend him. I have followed him to 3 different salons as no one can straighten hair like Nori. I have very thick, coarse, wavy hair and Nori gets it glistening straight every time. He has done Yuko (Japanese straightening) and Japanese keratin straightening with excellent results. He is a master at his craft.

Nori does amazing job with my Asian thin, flat and super fine hair in both haircut and color. I always receive non-stop compliments every time I get my hair done by Nori. Nori's haircut is not only great, it requires very low to no maintenance. He is also a true color artist. Since I have super fine hair, my hair can be easily damaged, Nori does perfect color job with 0 damage. My hair color stays fresh, and grows out beautifully for months until the next appointments. I thank Nori is being here in LA, and I can go see him. It's an absolute fortunate for me.

Nori is absolutely AMAZING. He is very talented and knowledgeable. I have gotten the Yuko straightening (aka Japanese Straightening or Thermal Reconditioning) from him for a few years, and it is AMAZING. I've had various stylists in my life, because of all the places I've lived, and he is by far the most skilled stylist I have worked with for this treatment. He is able to get my hair straightened very close to my scalp, which takes a lot of skill! I would recommend his services to anyone! Please, please, please go to him, as he is very talented. You will NOT be disappointed. Also, he is very friendly and cordial, which makes the hair treatment go by so fast!

Nori is perfect! He is very accommodating and knowledgeable. I met him after quarantine for a drastic change as a “pick me up” pampering session. I put the fate of my semi-virgin (have very been bleached but as been dyed) black Asian hair in his hands so that it could achieve bleached rose gold. 1. Consultation - he took the time to educate me on the process and why and how the bleaching process would affect my hair in quality and color. He helped me make the best choices to keep my hair healthy but also allow me to have fun with it. 2. Work space - very clean and cute! I felt very comfortable and safe especially during these covid times. 3. Process - during the bleaching and toning, Nori was very gentle and achieved exactly what I had asked for. He is very considerate and works confidently. My hair is still soft, shiny, and healthy. He is worth every penny! I can’t wait to go back =]

The haircuts I get from Nori are amazing. And my hair is not easy - short, fine hair with a mind of its own: sometimes curly, sometimes wavy and sometimes in between. But Nori approaches the problem like some kind of a rocket scientist or an alchemist, and delivers a great style every time. I definitely recommend.
