Very professional service, excellent care taken with my hair with recommendations for enhancing growth and health of my natural hair. I called three times today trying to get the name of a detangling conditioner because I took my braids out after 4 and a half months. Miriam promised she would have Maria call me back. But I never received a call. Why is it that the owner is the only one who knows the answer?

BEWARE: They price gauge you here. You book online for one price and once you get there for service they up the price. There's always some reason (oh you have more hair, your head big, your hair long, the style different than they thought, etc.). So to prevent this I started calling before hand and showing up to the shop so they can see my hair and the style I want and get a price and ask them exactly what I need to book online. And STILL the day of service they change the price and say the person I talked to doesn't know what they are talking about and I need to pay more. Mind you these are services I've gotten from them before and the price will be different than last time (only a month or two ago) Upwards of $50+ more. This is so frustrating!! They good work but I don't like feeling like I'm being taken advantage of and getting price gauged. I will be reporting them so this doesn't keep happening. I would really appreciate a place that is consistent, does a good job for a fair price. I thought this was it but EVERY SINGLE TIME I come here is something 🙄. They fixed the scheduling issue now they need to fix the pricing.

My mom normally have a good experience with Debbie but on 7/9/23 she got a different stylist and she was horrible, she didn't advise my mom to purchase the right hair for the style she wanted she was hurting her head while crocheting and this wasn't an OUCHLESS EXPERIENCE it was the worst experience for my mom. The stylist had her to purchase more hair that she didn't need and her attitude was horrible couldn't believe the service she endured. I took my mom to JoJo salon that same day and the stylist witnessed the redness in her scape and apologized to her for having to endure that horrible experience. The stylist at JoJo took my mom to the hair store and advised her on what would be the best hair for the style she wanted, she was very gentle and took her time with my mom inflamed scape.

Overall I had great experience! Ms Yrubi (receptionist) was very responsive to all my many questions and concerns. I was able to get an appointment in a reasonable time frame. My stylist Ms. Debbie worked magic on my hair because I have alopecia and my hair is thin in the top. Ms. Debbie knows how to magically put some hair there and make you look and feel beautiful!! I must say I felt a pinch on the the pricing, but she uses a technique that that demonstrates her braiding skills. I would suggest that you inquire about the hair they use, which is included in the service, if it matters to you. I am just a client that has to be concerned about everything because of my allergies, and sensitive skin. Thank you Ms. Yrubia and Ms. Debbie!! God Bless You Both

** I've been a client of this location in Fayetteville for at least a year. Most recently I went to book a hair appointment immediately after this past New Year's 2023. However, the website they use Freshia (which is COMPLETELY CONFUSING, lists a set of booking times that the salon doesn't honor?!!). They had ZERO available times for the entire week which I thought was strange. ** SO, I texted and called the establishment throughout the day, but -- no one bothered to return my call or respond to me AT ALL during the whole week?! After being a client for over a year I would expect better! ** Stylists are great, but the overall booking and attentiveness is terrible! * I'm really disappointed in the way this Christian establishment turned out to treat me. I'm kind, I'm polite -- but whether they need my money or not -- they lost a very good customer. * I found another Christian establishment further down the street thankfully, with much more attentiveness and they don't even use a website -- they answer and respond all the time simply via text!

*If you book online, check prices of style before hair is started.* This month, after service was completed, I was charged $25 more then the booked price online. When I planned to pay with Zelle, it was said that it wasn't working (but I was able to add the salon while sitting there) and someone would need to call but I don't think anyone tried. More is charged if you don't use Zelle or cash and I didn't have cash. I said to go ahead and use my credit card and agreed to pay the higher amount. The stylist asked if I was adding a tip and I said no because I felt that $25 more than I planned was ridiculous. The stylist got in her car and left me under the dryer without saying that she was doing so. I saw her car leave. The reason I knew her car was that she arrived 10-15 minutes late for the appt. Pros: Hair looks fine. I liked the ability to book the appt online. I don't plan to go back because of poor service. I had forgotten but the online price was $10 less than what the stylist expected at a previous appt (probably a year ago?)but the online price was honored because it was locked in the system; the stylist tried to change it.

I am a frequent of this location. I started coming here about 3 years ago, and I promise every time I come back it gets worst and worst! The first 3 times I’ve come here it has been AMAZING! The braiders take there time, very respectful of your time, and the ambiance of the location was claim and relaxing. Around the 4th and 5th visit I started to notice a change. Not enough for me to stop going but it was a change. The music has gotten louder the conversations were starting to change and had become less of work place convo. Well I came back in August the music wasn’t as loud however, took over 8 hours to get my hair braided. The young lady who was doing my hair had issues going on in her personal life. I totally understand that but the start and stopping was enough for me to have an ENTIRE attitude once I left. Fast forward to TODAY. A 9 a.m appointment its 6:08 and I am JUST leaving! I got box braid in a bob. The first young lady who started on my hair ( I understand she is new and may not be as experience as Deb and Andrea) it’s took her 30 mins to do 7 braids. As she needed to get settled, and respond to text messages. Andrea then took over and she did what she needed to do. Well it was time for me to go back to the newer young lady who often had to take breaks to “ go to her car “. Once she finally finished and I got a closer look at my hair I notice not only was my bob NOT EVEN but it was some braids that were not burned at the ends. I am not a business owner by any means and I understand good work is hard to find. However, 2 newer braids should never be left alone without the assistance of the seasoned braiders. I am certain Deb or Andrea would have NOT allowed this to happen. I don’t mind paying for GREAT service and letting my friends know how awesome of a job and experience I had, which is what I normally get when I come here. However this experience has put the icing on the cake for me, giving great reviews and referrals will not come from me.

I booked this appointment on 11/22 surprised that they had availability before Thanksgiving. After booking I called to see if I need to wash my hair before arriving. My appointment was confirmed via text and again a reminder the next day. On 11/23 @3pm was supposed to be my appointment. I arrive early waited outside in my cair and still came in 10mins early only to find out that Urbi changed my appointment time without telling me. They asked if i could do 4:30 and i was not willing to wait 1.5hrs before someone to even start on my hair and it wasn't even a guarantee she would be there since she changed my time after confirming it. One of the stylist calls Urbi because they said she was supposed to call me. When they get her on the phone she said she called me and it went to voicemail. This is so unacceptable and unprofessional at the same time. If you needed to change the appointment you call the person until you reach them. I have no missed call or voicemail showing anyone called. You wasted my travel time there and back with nothing but I'll refund your deposit after me asking for my deposit back. NOPE she did not even offer or mention anything about returning my money.I highly don't recommend this place at all. If I was reached timely i could of made accommodations but you want me to wait for your 1.5hr for you to even start my hair which will take every bit of 2 to 3hrs for you to do. I washed and blew dry my hair for nothing. I really NEVER blow dry my hair due to amount of heat it takes.. Now I have freshly washed and blown out hair that i have to figure out what to do with it.. Freaking ridiculous Urbi!!! Update **Update **Urbi called after the review was posted**please don't call the individual after the review is posted when you should have called and apologized the same day.. My review stands and the apologize after the review was posted was not warranted especially since i have no reason to change what occurred.. i hope you take my suggestions in consideration for thefuture and it's okay you were not the stylist Urbiri maybe they should have called the same day to apologize. ** thanks for your response but regardless you should always follow-up especially when your the one canceling or changing it.. if a client did this you would charge them***

I have taken my daughter her on several occasions and each time she is usually in and out in 3 to 4 hours and the braids look nice. Today someone new was braiding her hair. We had a 12pm appt that they pushed to 1pm but no one started on her hair until after 1:30. It's 6PM and she is not finished yet and the braids are okay. I will not be back. There is no urgency

I am completely disappointed with this hair style. I came in for a simple style, 6 jumbo cornrows pulled up in a bun. I showed the stylist the photo of the style and she still couldn't get it right. The cornrows were okay but the bun was awful. The owner seemed very upset because I didn't like the bun and told the stylist to just let me tell her how to put the bun up, well if I could do the style myself I would have saved my money and did just that. My stylist was very kind and tried her best to get the bun right but she just did not know how to do it. I was not offered a discount or a redo. Needless to say I will not patronize this business again. Please don't waste your time or money!

I stop by the Fayetteville location on Monday 12/20/2021 to get a business card and schedule an appointment. The lady that was there was nice and seemed to be cleaning the salon. I asked if they did two- stran twist on males and she replied yes, gave me a card, and told me to give Maria a call in the morning to schedule. I called the very next day 12/212021 to see if anyone could do my son’s hair because I needed it done that day. I was told to come at 1:30 to the Fayetteville location. Upon arrival the salon was closed so I waited about 15 minutes in my car and still no one. I called the number back on the business card and was put to voicemail and sent a text message “I’ll call you right back “ I waited a few more minutes and then I text and told them I was a scheduled 1:30 appt. and asked would anyone be there to do my sons hair.After about 10 minutes I got a text saying they tried to reach me but the stylist had an emergency. At this point I’m confused because if you called why didn’t you leave a message or text message and tell me you couldn’t make the appointment. So now I’m upset because I’ve taken his hair down washed it expecting it to be done. So I received another text apologizing, offering to do his hair the next day, and offering $10 off the next scheduled appointment. No thanks….this business is unorganized and unprofessional. The business hours are displayed on the door but clearly the people that work here come in when they get ready.

I’m new to the Fayetteville area so this is the only salon I’ve been to for braids. However, they’ve set the bar so high that I can’t imagine going anywhere else. My daughters and I all have thick hair AND are tender headed, but I can assure you that Nia Soule lives up to their Ouchless claims!! We can pull our hair up without discomfort from day one! Not only have we been satisfied with the outcomes of our hair, but the customer service is impeccable!! During our most recent visit I made a last minute appointment and they were graciously accommodating. They even worked with me and my budget to ensure that we could get styles we wanted without breaking the bank (braiding three heads of hair at once can be costly!) The salon’s atmosphere is clean, pleasant, and relaxing. It’s obvious that customer service and satisfaction is at the core of their business. I would highly recommend Nia Soule for all of your braiding needs!!

This location is less professional than the one in Norcross. Every time I make an online appointment in advance using THEIR system, I get a call the night before or the day of with someone trying to change the time. I've already scheduled time to be at the salon, I've scheduled childcare, I've planned my day around the appointment, and yet they can never stick to the times listed online. Most recently, I scheduled a 9am appointment, but when I'm halfway there (driving in the pouring rain at 9 months pregnant), I get a call asking if I can come at 11am. Like, do they think I have nothing else to do than wait around all day? I NEVER had this problem with the Norcross location. I only started coming here when we moved to Stockbridge from Decatur. I'm taking my business elsewhere. What was supposed to be a 3.5 hour appointment turned into 6 hours! I was there from 8:55am until 3p-- granted there was one person working on my hair until around 1ish, and the second one who came later in the day was working so slow and spending most of the talking on the phone. Again, I'm visibly pregnant, and I've been sitting in a chair all day. This was beyond ridiculous. They did a great job on my hair, but they definitely don't value your time.

This was definitely one of the best braiding experiences that I’ve ever received. The salon itself has a very peaceful and inviting atmosphere and offers a variety of hairstyles for clients to choose from. The stylists are very friendly, professional, and do exceptional work. I walked into the salon to get my hair done, but I ended up leaving with a greater sense of community and an amazing hair style. I highly recommend coming to this salon!

My wife was extremely nervous to get her hair braided during this pandemic. The salon was clean & Bukola did a great job on her hair. She wore a mask, washed her hands and all equipment. It was just her and My wife in the salon so She was very comfortable. Bukola braided her hair and it wasn’t tight or painful, She even went to sleep. Great job!

When I arrived at the fayetteville,ga location. I was pleased to see that ALL the stylist were wearing masks. The shop was never crowded. I really loved how Andrea didn't grab the roots of my hair really tight,how most braid shops do. The BEST thing I really enjoy is earning points on every service that you I get. They are also fast and professional hair braiders, very neat.
