I recently visited a salon for a wash, retwist, and style service. The establishment had a pleasant and upscale ambiance, which contributed to a relaxing experience. The wash service was exceptional, and I rate it 10/10. The retwist was satisfactory, but not as impressive as the wash, so I would give it an 8/10 rating. However, I was greatly disappointed with the styling. The outcome was akin to matted, braided hair, lacking any definition. It was far from the desired "wishbone braids" with dreads that I had requested. The stylist insisted that it looked fine, but I strongly disagreed. The styling lacked the intended definition and braided look. While I believe the stylist is a capable individual with good values, she needs to enhance her knowledge and skills in styling dreadlocks. It appeared that she lacked the necessary training and expertise to handle dreadlock styling effectively. I did not sense any malicious intent, but rather a deficiency in training specific to dreadlock care and styling. I am confident that she possesses excellent skills in other hair-related services, particularly those pertaining to women's hair procedures and processes. Ps.With love

I have been coming to Nikki to get my hair done for TWO YEARS now and all I got for her high praises! With more than 10 years of experience, she is the very reason why I’m able to enjoy a very healthy loc journey. I could go on in paragraphs but I won’t say too much and let the pictures speak for themselves. Just LOOK at this two year growth from 08/05/2021 to 06/18/2024‼️ Should I say more? If you have been looking around for trustworthy/experienced hairstylist and loctician, NIKKI is the person you’ve been searching for‼️ Don’t rob yourself of your glow and give her a call. You won’t be disappointed 💯

I'm only in the area temporarily. I searched for a hairstylist to do my hair(locs). Nikki came up, I called her and she immediately assisted me with getting an appointment set up quickly. She was on time, very professional, and personable. I will definitely be going back before I leave the area!

If you are looking to have interlock maintenance/tightening done, DO NOT COME HERE!! I found her on the internet and asked if she does interlocking; to which she responded yes. I had my appointment with her on 6/29 and what she did was NOT properly done!! Now I have gaping holes in every single one of my dreadlocks, and I am extremely pissed off. In all of my 20+ years of wearing dreads, this has never, EVER happened to me. And now I will have to find someone to correct every one of my locs, and possibly will have to go to Los Angeles to have them fixed! When I texted her about it, and showed her a pic, there was no response from her at all. So unprofessional! If you care about the technique of your locs and want INTERLOCKING ONLY, DO NOT COME HERE!! She does NOT know what she is doing!

I got my loc extensions from this salon by Nikki, and she told me the extensions were REAL HAIR. After keeping the extension locs for around 1.5 years I finally decided to dye them (bleach them actually). I noticed the extensions wouldn't take the dye and realized the loc extensions Nikki put on my hair wasn't actually real hair. She lied to me and basically put synthetic locs on my head. Wasted a lot of money trusting her with her own process of "adding loc extensions" Definitely wouldn't recommend her salon if you're trying to get loc extensions!!!

Nikki, Is a great culturist with a great attitude and thorough explanation of how to care for your hair before and after for the best results. Nikki is quick, attentive, and neat. My son has been using her for almost 2 years now for dreads and he enjoys her as his stylist.

Miss Nikki is a professional and always very responsive. She squeezed me into her schedule and made sure all of my needs were met. I am so satisfied with my end result. She even help fix a pass bad experienceI had with getting my locs before. She is so nice and friendly and made me feel at home. Nikki is an awesome hairstylist! She has a bright personality and amazing loc skills I’ve seen for the best price available. She did my extensions for me and they have held up great. I I absolutely recommend anyone to come to her if you want to start locs, get loc extensions, or just get a retwist. You will absolutely be satisfied with her work. Just look at what she did with my hair!!

Nikki not only does an amazing job but she has the most reasonable prices for retwists. She gets you in and out. I’ve been coming to her since July and I refuse to let anyone else manage my locs. She’s done my retwists, extensions, and styles. I love her work and believe none of the photos on the reviews show how good she is. By the way, Nikki did not ask me to post a review I just had to post because I got lucky and stumbled upon her and had to post after my last visit. She styled my hair so quickly and they have grown so much I had to post!
