Listen to the low ratings of the other reviews! I wish I would’ve. Nina was rough with my head, didn’t give me a proper middle part, and claimed she couldn’t cornrow short hair. I think she just didn’t want to, and like someone else said. Money hungry.

TERRIBLE! Set an appointment on my short hair, the lady didn’t even touch or blow it out and immediately turned me away at the door. She kept pushing me to get box braids when all I wanted was a braid down. MONEY HUNGRY! DO NOT COME HERE!!!!

Terrrible establishment came in there with exactly what I wanted she told me that I have to make it smaller to get what I want. I don’t have to much to say below I’m going to put what I wanted and what I got. I had to bring the locs which was 170 then I paid them 220 to do it.

I cut my hair into a pixie and they were still able to grip my hair. I got waist length knotless , I’ve had them in for two months and my hair is still intact, no slipping or anything.

I received the versatile hairstyle it hasn’t even been 24 hours and everyone loves it. She did the absolute best on my hair . 5 stars nina . Also this was for my birthday I’m so picky on who touches my hair so thank you :)

My hair is it is not twisted at the root my two strains are coming out. She told me a different price on the phone and when I get there is something else. I had to go to somebody else to get my hair re-twisted again I don’t know what happened. She did my friends hair and it came out immaculate I don’t know what happened to mine

They do quality work but the inconsistency with pricing is an issue, especially since they expect you to pay upfront with cash. I believe they’ve recently started a card accepting process but you’re required to pay the $5 processing fee which is odd to me. They should sit down and develop a pricing chart so that everyone’s on the same page because the “quoting” over the phone that they do current is pointless. The customer service is questionable, they’re not the warmest establishment.

they kept me quiet for the longest so I want to to speak up. I was in a tough situation and couldn't pay for my braid so they left me with it in payments .A few days later they came to my job and snipped my braid off and whipped me with my own braid and she smacked my head and called me a whipped bruised back slave.

I give it 2 stars bc my hairstyle was nice but the customer service is what they need to def improve on. I called to schedule my appointment and after scheduling my appointment I asked do they accept cash, card and etc, the woman said yes BUT didn’t mention the $5 they charge for using your card. I text pictures of the hairstyles to the number the woman gave to me. This was 3 days prior to my appointment, I didn’t get any response via text and I sent the pictures so I could get a price. The day of my appointment I’m hit with the $5 fee for using my card, I told the lady that should’ve been disclosed to me over the phone( by the way I didn’t get any form of sorry or anything) I paid it unfortunately…the woman started braiding my hair and I told her DO NOT braid my hair tight especially my edges and she told me she will try but she is doing cornrows, so it’s going to be hard not to braid my edges tight🙄….needless to say if I didn’t have a trip to go on and had more time to reschedule with another place I would bc customer service is important and that woman didn’t have it!!! Which reflects bad on the entire shop.

I have to give a bad customer service review I paid $210 for a hair braiding style and I had braids fall out I called to have them replaced and I was told to come in after 2 days of calling then they wanted to charge me to replace my braids after I drove 30minutes from another town. This was the last service I will ever get from here and I will not refer anyone else to this place again.

I personally recommend Miriam. Miriam does a really good job with all hair braiding styles including feed in braids . Her work is very neat and she takes her time to get the perfect results . Thanks Miriam 😊

I'm giving Nina's five stars because the quality of service I always receive from Christina. Today I got small knotless braids and they are gorgeous. Her work is so beautiful. Thank you for the amazing do!!!

My braids look good. But they are so tight that on day 2 I took the parameter out for relief. They braid entirely to tight. I will NEVER go again!!

Never ever go here! The stylists are rude and the customer service sucks, they also have poor time management skills. The older women in the salon called me broke and when I was leaving she proceeded to follow me to my car, after an exchange of words she picked up a rock from the ground and throw it at my car as I drove off! Extremely disappointed! All I wanted was some braids.

OMG I enjoyed the time I spent at Nina's Braiding Hair Salon. We interactive with one another with laughs and talks, this was my first time visiting and I will visit again. I'm from Winter Haven Florida and to find someone that took me in at the last minute was truly a Blessing... AND IT ONLY TOOK 4 1/2 hours to get a head full of small braids..I LOVE IT, THANK YOU NINA

I am pleased with the style. She did a good job and took her time on my hair. But I can never get braids again. Every time I've ever got them I've asked the stylist not to do them tight. My hair is fragile. But it's seems impossible for then to do it with minimal tension so I guess my hair isn't made for any type of braids. I know it's tight when the cashier at the store commented on how uncomfortable it looks. Again it's a beautiful but not for me. Thanks

I'm LaToya by the way the service was horrible. The sign clearly says walk in but they don't go by that rule at all they act like they don't know what's going on half of the time and the owner Nina is so rude. I clearly called and asked her was walk-ins ok she said "yes".I got there she and she wasn't there just one braider and her client ,so I waited for her for at 30-45mins. Nina came in and didn't even greet me she just said you called earlier and said you was coming and I stated to her well I asked you was walk-ins ok you said "yes". She says "well your here now come on how will you pay? " I stated to her I will be have to pay $160 in cash and $20 on my card she stated I going to charge your card $5 dollars so rudely. I said why she said it's policy so I told her no ,but one of her nieces offered to pay for it. And instead of how I asked her to charge my card she just charged my card the full amount of $180 instead of what I asked her.I also told her I wanted "box braids" which I don't have they are big jumbo box braids which I've never seen big box braids before but I just took the lost of $180 and won't be coming back there ever again this is my experience and it won't ever happen again.This place is horrible 👎👎👎👎

Never go there again. The lady charged $5 just use credit card machine and you have to pay up front. Not professional and the lady couldn't braid very well.

They are very rude and charge 10 dollars for adding purple hair but not brown. I had to go back and get them to cut the flyaways they they left. Not sure why they are rushing.

Was the worse service ever didn't do my hair the way I wanted braided my hair way to tight had to tell her to redo alot of them and my hair came out of my scalp from one braid due to how tight it was , was too long , and she didn't listen to what I wanted will never go back
