Five stars for Davis, he is the only nail tech I will work with. I’ve had 2 facials the first I rate 4 stars but I think she moved on and the second 2. This place can be pretty pricey and depending on who you work with the results may vary. I recommend looking over the reviews to find your perfect technician.

I like the fact that they got me in with a same day appointment online! However the wax specialist didn’t offer for me to look at my brows after she finished the service…. It doesn’t even look like she waxed my eyebrows…nor did she ask if I had a preference on how I wanted them done. Once she used the wax she proceeded to pluck the hairs individually and it looks like I have a bald spot in that area.

I got my eyebrows waxed with Brianna and she did amazing! She was able to achieve exactly what I asked for, as my eyebrows are two different shapes and I wanted them to match. She was so sweet! The salon was beautiful and service was quick.

i feel really bad having to leave this place a bad review because everyone here is so so nice but unfortunately i just had a really bad experience here :/. i went to nirvana for two acrylic fills and on the second fill i noticed a dark spot on one of my nails. i didn’t say anything but it did cross my mind that it could’ve been fungus, but if it was i just assumed the nail tech would’ve told me or taken care of it. i have never had fungus from acrylics before and i have been getting acrylics for five years. within less than two weeks of this fill i had several nails start to lift and i had 3 of them practically come off. i went to my usual nail tech at a salon down in south reno once i realized how badly the set was holding up and she told me i had fungus on three of my nails and was close to developing it on the rest of them, as well. every single nail was starting to lift. i had to get a whole new set and pay for her to fix the fungus. i understand i could’ve asked my tech at nirvana about the dark spot, but as the professional she really should have been the one to notice it and at least tell me to keep an eye on it. in my five years of getting acrylic nails i have never had lifting or retention problems as bad as i have since coming here for my last two fills. please keep an eye on things like this because it cost me a lot of money that i honestly should not have had to pay. not to mention if the fungus got any worse that could have been really bad, too.

Absolute disappointment! Made an appointment at this salon and arrived on time, only to be kept waiting for a whole hour past my scheduled slot. When it was finally my turn, I was told that the nail technician didn't feel comfortable removing hard gel nails, a service they advertise. To top it off, the receptionist offered a feeble 'sorry' without any explanation, despite being the one who scheduled the appointment. Complete disregard for my time and a lack of professionalism. My time was completely disregarded, and no alternative solutions were offered. Save yourself the headache and find a salon that actually values its customers' time and satisfaction.

I went to Brianna for a facial and a brow wax and she was amazing!! This facial was the best facial I have ever received. She had soft gentle hands and a loving personality. Brianna made me feel very comfortable and relaxed! She shared lots of skin tips with me, she has so much knowledge on skin and skincare products. Brianna has now helped me Improve my skincare routine! We also did a brow wax and I love my brows!! She definitely has an eye for brows!

I've only dealt with the aestheticians at Nirvana. I am never disappointed with how my eyebrows turn out. But today is the best they've ever turned. My sister and I both went in and got Leslie. She was an absolute delight!!! Very kind and gentle. And knowledgeable. I will definitely be booking with her again 🙂🙂

I hate writing bad reviews but I just can’t let this slide. I want to like this place so badly because it’s close to my house, but the quality is horrible. I had my nails done by Andrew the last time I was there. He cut me multiple times during the service as well. I had asked for a black and white ombré and this is what I got. I wasn’t crazy about the design, but when my tips started breaking off is when I realized I can never go back. I got my nails done less than a week ago and my tips are already breaking. Needless to say I’m willing to travel for better quality and for someone who won’t cut me while I’m trying to relax.

Nail removal was $12, more than twice the standard price at most salons. Nail tech was friendly to my mom. Front desk staff were being weird… Went outside to talk bad about people 4 times while my mom got her nail polish removed. Overall generally unfriendly front staff with friendly techs. Wouldn’t recommend…

I was pleasantly surprised when I booked with Nirvana and they matched me up with Vivian. She really did a great job and I was in and out in 30 mins. Very pleased and will be a regular customer. 😊

Booked one month ahead as a surprise for my fiancé birthday. Return customer and let them know it was for his birthday in the booking. They refused to accommodate us because they had sent all female nail techs home. Birthday surprise and schedule ruined. No mani pedi for trip either. This was the second incident I had here with scheduling so I will be searching for a new spa

I got a lash lift/tint with Leslie and she was incredible! She was very welcoming and made feel for comfortable and left my lashes looking phenomenal :) my eye lashes are naturally super straight but the results were amazing!

I just walk in this business looking for a pedicure and it's really nice place, but this guy Dave, gave me the fastest pedicure in my life, I mean, he didn't cut my nails as I asked for and he just answered with a NO! Very loud everyone heard and I paid $53 for 20 minutes and a horrible massage he just make me feel pain and no hot towels. Looks like this guy just work for money he doesn't care about how the customer, doesn't show sympathy when somebody start to yell "pedicure " he just said that he was about to end with me and he just care to do and do nails fasteer

Mi experiencia no fue buena, salí con 70 dolares menos y mis manos y pies salieron igual de feos que como entraron, la diferencia es que salieron pintadas las uñas, el lugar nice pero no vale la pena pagar tan caro y salir igual que como entraste. No lo recomiendo.

My nail job *was* great until I asked if it was possible to make them mirrored. He said, "yeah! I can mirror anything!" Long story short - The end product turned out like this. After my complaint during checkout, they offered to fix it but I didn't have 2 more hours to wait. They insisted I pay full price and when I told them I would pay for the manicure but not the customization (because it wasn't what I asked for) they brought the nail tech who did my nails to the counter who let me know it was all my fault because I asked for them to be chromed. A customer should not have to debate one on one with the nail tech about the quality of their work (or lack there of.) There should be a manager handling these kinds of issues. A nail tech should know their products well enough to know if it will work or not. This obviously didn't work but apparently I'm the only one who sees it?!

The Salon is busy, parking is scarce, but Tammy gave great manis and pedi's. The issue is with their policy of obtaining a deposit before your appointment. I called that my 2 yo grand-daughter had been in the hospital with coughing and difficulty breathing. This morning, I woke up coughing. The receptionist said the $33 deposit would be gone, due to it being cancelled less that 24 hours before appointment (I woke up sick). I said then I would never come back. He said that was fine. Imagine bringing these germs into a place where my technician's 2 yo child would have the same experience. It would be monstrous. The salon can keep the sad $33, but will lose my $250/month business.

Very polite and friendly. I moved to Reno about a year ago and scheduled an appointment online after having a horrible experience at another salon. Tammy is amazing and the only person I trust to do my nails!
