My wedding makeup/hair got canceled a few days before my wedding. I booked months in advance with Rue and the salon wasn’t able to provide comparable services after the cancellation. Rue suggested I work with another girl in the salon who didn’t have makeup experience and also told me she wouldn’t be able to do the hairstyle I was hoping for (half up half down). I was offered a trial and still went because I was desperate. The hair/makeup didn’t turn out. I asked for warm brown/pink toned eyeshadow and instead got silvery/gray smoky colors. There was black eyeshadow used to over fill my eyebrows, purple toned lipstick, and the foundation wasn’t blended or my shade so there were harsh lines on my hairline and neck. I decided not to use the salons services and still had to pay for the trial. If you book with them just make sure you discuss a contingency plan!

I’ve been a customer of No Coast for a long time. I love the salon, their adorable vibe and kind staff make every visit a treat! I’ve been getting my hair cut by Aliya Borchers for 3 or 4 years now and I have loved every moment I’ve spent in her chair. I typically just get my hair cut or trimmed and she is a master at taking my subtle ideas and thoughts and turning it into a cohesive and gorgeous look every time! I recommend following her on Instagram (@aliyaborchers_stylist) to see the full range of services and hair textures she’s talented with. A normal hair cut is very affordable at around $45 (if I remember correctly). Aliya has never tried to upsell me on products or coloring services. She makes recommendations and answers all of my questions but never pressures me into spending more than I’m comfortable with. This most recent time I went in I decided to get my hair colored for the first time ever. Aliya was so thorough in the consultation and made sure my goal was within my budget and wouldn’t compromise the health of my hair. I included a picture of the coloring style she did for me. I can’t stop staring at my hair in pictures and mirrors. I get constant compliments from friends, family, and strangers. I’m so pleased I can’t wait to go back. Aside from her artistic talents Aliya has a wonderful presence and makes the time spent in her chair comfortable and easy. We’re never at a loss for conversation but I know if I needed some quiet time she would be more than happy to oblige.

Oh-Emmm-Geeeee!!! Emery is so amazing!!! This girl took my short brown hair to blonde + extensions right before the holidays. She went over and above to make sure I loved my hair before I left..I HIGHLY recommend Emery!!

I've known Stormi for many years. Besides being an amazing person, she is the most awesome owner/stylist I know. I was in town visiting, and she squeezed me in. My hair is finally the color I've been wanting. Definitely will be back!

I have been going to No Coast for 6 years and absolutely love it! I have seen Chelsea the entire time and I am so thankful to have found her. Her knowledge and skills are unparalleled. She has an ability to know what will look best on you and will provide honest feedback about what your hair is capable of. I am now at the point where I will just ask Chelsea what she thinks we should do to my hair because I know she will not suggest something that would not look good on me or be too difficult for me to maintain. She has taken the time to get to know me and my lifestyle to truly understand what will not only look the best, but will be practical for me as well. Everyone at No Coast is super friendly and it is clear they all have great relationships with each other but it never gets in the way of their work. I would highly recommend No Coast to anyone!

Went to No Coast salons for the first time & had a great experience! I booked with Addie who is new to the salon and didn’t regret it one bit! She nailed everything I was wanting with my hair. After not having my hair down for nearly 5 years she made me leave feeling fresh and beautiful!!

Terrible service! My appointment was scheduled for 4pm, and 40 minutes after it I asked what’s going on, and the girl at the front desk, Melisa, said that she doesn’t know why the hairdresser is so late, and that she is running late the whole day. I consider this as very irresponsible. If you have already seen that she has trouble with her schedule, you can call me and reschedule the appointment. Not only that, when I tried to reschedule, the front desk girl tried to give me an appointment with the same hairdresser. So unprofessional! Also, while I was sitting there and waiting for my appointment , I could see that other hairdressers are talking a way too much, which was affecting their work. They are just a group of individuals who don’t have any discipline in work, and not respecting other people’s time and money.

Terrible. Please save your money and go to anywhere else. Staff was unprofessional and was rude. We got my wifes hair colored and was the wrong color but couldn't see until we got out into the light. The stylist said to “keep washing it” and it will get lighter. We ended up having to go to another salon to fix it and pay another $300. The other salon was surprised we were able to leave looking like that not to mention that she missed a spot on the front of her hair. Wife asked if she could fix it and declined but still scheduled her for another appointment. But we didn't know she had, then proceeded to charge us another $75 for a no-show. I completely agree if we made the appointment and chose not to go but that wasn't the case. Again save yourself $700 and go to a professional salon with customer service.

I’ve come to No Coast for curly coaching from Liz for a few years. Liz is *brilliant*… she is kind, caring, compassionate, exceptionally talented. She tamed my wild mane. I am dedicated! But today… today was different. Today, my 89yo grandmother came in. Yesterday, she asked me who could cut her hair this week. My aunt died. My grandmother wanted a haircut before her daughter’s funeral. Grandma Betty tasked me with finding the right place, and I know No Coast is busy, but they said yes. The front desk staff got her scheduled with co-owner Stormi, and I saw my grandmother happy for the first time in weeks. Thank you No Coast. It means the world to me that you all care not just about me, but about my family.

Chelsea SAVED my hair, before I went to her my hair was a hot mess but she made it healthy and beautiful again! I wouldn’t go to anyone else for now on! Not only is she the best with hair but she has the sweetest personality! 10/10 recommend

I go to No Coast to get my hair done, but I am actually writing this review about Darlene who did the hair for my wedding. Darlene was great and my hair and my bridesmaid's hair looked amazing! Each of us did something different and in the end everyone looked great! She got everyone done with extra time to spare and did a great job doing whatever each of us asked for. Thanks Darlene!
