I had been searching for at least a year, maybe more, for someone who could redo my extremely thick and grown out wolf cut in a way that I liked. Many had tried, but few were brave enough to just attack it with scissors-- except Anita! I entered with heavy, shapeless hair and left feeling like a million bucks. Anita was super skillful and clearly experienced with specialty cuts, plus so friendly and nice the whole time. I've finally found my go-to and will be back for my future trims!

I’d seen a few different stylists in the last couple years, looking for a specific cut, and had one tell me flat, “your hair can’t do that, I won’t cut your hair that way.” Anita said, “your hair is like this, so we can do it this way-“ and gave me the perfect cut I’d been looking for. That’s skill and expertise and talent. Multiple times a week I look in the mirror and say, “I love this haircut.”

I’ve been going here since I moved to Seattle. They came highly recommended by a dear friend and I couldn’t agree more. Anita and Andy are not only so good at their trade but welcoming to all.

I saw Anita for a haircut yesterday, which was my first in over 5 years, and I am so so SO happy and excited about how it turned out. I was super nervous because my hair is my pride and joy and getting it cut after so long was a massive change, but Anita did such an amazing job and it turned out even better than I had hoped! I’m surprised to find that I feel much more myself with this new cut/style, and it’s a wonderful feeling. Anita and Andy are both so cool too and their studio is such a fun and comfortable environment. I certainly intend on returning and will recommend to friends! :)

Andy Coleman is one of the very best barbers and stylists in the greater Seattle area. You want an immaculate fade, done. You want the best shaped cut to work around your weird cowlicks, and/or receding hairline, done. You want a complete make over and new look, he’s got the vision and skill to transform your mop to a bop. He’s been been cutting my hair for over a decade and there’s none better for the price and experience. Top notch. Super good human, cares about people and his craft, artist w the sheers. Book it!

Anita gave me a beautiful transformation haircut. After several years of disappointing haircuts, I am so happy to have found her! I finally have a haircut that makes me feel good. Anita gives thoughtful and honest advice and is such a kind person. She really listened to what I wanted and then gave advice that made it even better. The No Harm studio is a friendly and welcoming space, and they even had a cute friendly pup hanging out. I love that they don't just offer a few cruelty-free products as options but are 100% cruelty-free and even vegan themselves. I will be returning for sure.

Anita has been coloring my hair for years. She expertly took my dark brown hair to blonde without damaging it and again expertly gave me a vivid cooper orange that fades out SO WELL. She’s realistic about what she can make happen without damaging your hair, and is always transparent about process, cost, products, and anything else you’d want to know when you’re sitting in a stylists chair. Their space is a joy to be in and you can tell Anita and Andy have made authenticity and quality the cornerstones of their business at No Harm

Anita has been doing cut and color for my hair for years, and I swear she's a magician. I come in with inspiration photos, and she knows exactly how to adjust them to work for my hair type. An absolute artist with color, too. She loves what she does and it SHOWS. I haven't worked with Andy, but he is always welcoming and kind. The vibes of their shop are fantastic. It's so clearly a space for artists to practice their craft: fun, bright, good music.

This place rules. Both Andy and Anita are warm and kind. Andy has cut my hair for about a year and is so consistent. They make such a welcoming environment for queer and trans folks. It’s the cherry on top that they use vegan products. Great vibes all around.

Anita & Andy are AMAZING! Andy does fantastic cuts and Anita is a wiz with vivid colors. I get compliments on my purple hair ALL the time, and Anita knows my hair so well and how to achieve exactly what I want in a way that looks fabulous on me. Their work is great, the vibes are great, this place is great. I can’t recommend No Harm enough!!!

Anita and Andy are the best. Their studio is incredible and I’m so happy I found them! I have vibrant hair and I’m so glad to have Anita, who understands my desire for bright colors. She’s also does amazing haircuts and is the ONLY person who cuts my bangs short enough. On top of the great service, stellar haircut, and beautiful color, Anita is FAST. Full color refresh, haircut, and blowout with straightening in 2 hours??? Unparalleled. The space is great, full of life and light, and Anita and Andy are so wonderful. If you want good people to do your hair extremely well, you’ve found your spot!

Anita has been cutting my hair for nearly 7 years-I found her when I moved to seattle and I’ve followed her to 3+ studios, including her own at No Harm. I won’t go to anyone else! She always perfect captures my vision and her cuts grow out so well, even when I’m overdue for a cut. Anita and Andy’s studio is queer- and vegan-friendly and all around good vibes.

Anita is truly an amazing human and hair stylist, I first went to her to cut off nearly 15 inches of hair as well as multiple haircuts after that. She was always on time and just a dope person to be around. Would recommend highly to anyone and everyone!!

I have been getting my hair cut from Andy since 2019 and I've never looked back. He's never done me dirty and has always understood the assignment. Both Andy and Anita are some dope af people and you can't go wrong with either of them. I don't trust anyone with my hair except for them. 10/10 will always recommend!

I have been going to No Harm now for about 6 months. I was specifically looking for a queer owned salon to feel safe and comfortable. No Harm came up with my search and after viewing what others had to say, as well as their other media, I decided to give it a try. I am so very happy I made that decision. My hair cuts have been great! My stylist listens to what I want and is talented with short hair. Also the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. Best salon I have been to in Seattle!

I have been seeing Andy and Anita for probably 10 years (has it been that long??) through their career doing hair. Their salon they have built together is so amazing. Immediately you feel like you belong there when you walk through the door. The space is safe, clean and professional. You are able to be yourself and both Andy and Anita care about YOU and are invested in helping you achieve looks that show your personality. My color always looks great, even after weeks of washes and my haircut is always flawless. The experience they have picked up over the years shines every time they pick up a hair tool. You will absolutely not be disappointed when you go to see them…well maybe you will be sad when it’s time to go home. :)

I just got my hair cut here for the first time and Andy did an absolutely phenomenal job! This is the first time I've been so happy with my hair in years. I decided to try out a new style and I could not be more happy with how it turned out, seriously amazing work! And a very nice and friendly atmosphere! I can't wait to come back the next time I need a trim or color!

I started going to No Harm a little over a year ago. It was recommended to me by my former hair stylist who moved out of town. I couldn’t be happier with Andy as my new person. Besides being a talented hair stylist, Andy is a great guy and fun to converse with on a multitude of subjects. I totally recommend Andy! A couple cute pups roaming the salon too.

I was anxious as I haven't had my hair cut in quite some time. Anita was really nice and helped me figure out what I was looking for, gave some help on styling my hair and I'm really happy with the results! They both wore their masks the whole time I was there (and I wore mine), and the cutting area was closed off from the lobby so it felt very safe with respect to covid as well!

Anita has seen me through all my hair goals, from short to long, all shades of blonde to the most beautiful icy lilac. She has a way of translating my inspo into what's going to be the best for me and demystifies the lingo to make sure we're aligned. Can't recommend her enough!

Fun colors, plenty of natural light, lively space with two people, Andy and Anita, who are passionate about what they do and do it flawlessly. Those two are gonna make you look hot all while letting you be exactly who you are. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I’ve been going to Anita for several years and she is fantastic!! I have long hair and I have always been in situations where the stylist cuts too much hair off and I’m unhappy but with Anita she 100% listens to what you want. I totally trust her with my hair! The salon space is super cute and there is free garage parking.

I’ve gone to Anita twice now for a faded pixie + fun vivids and she is truly a wizard with her cut & color techniques. She’s honest and straight forward about what she thinks will work vs what won’t, what looks best, how to maintain it, etc. Her space is welcoming, inclusive, bright and airy. It feels like hanging out with an old friend every time I visit. Parking is easy as well (free garage), which isn’t always the case in Seattle…though I would still come even if it wasn’t. :) 12/10 highly recommend if you want a unique look done in a safe space.

No Harm is THE queer hair salon in Seattle. Andy and Anita are so welcoming and fantastic, and their work is impeccable. Every haircut I've received from Andy has been fantastic and the straight razor neck trim is an added touch. There is also free parking in the attached parking garage, which is convenient. Not to mention, the decor in the salon rocks! Highly recommend!
