I first started with Marie in 1991, she struck out on her own with No Rootz and I've been going there ever since. The staff is amazing!! Very personal experience, professional and provide amazing service. I drive from Chesapeake to get my hair done. Shannon is my girl but Brad, Melissa, Olivia and Marie have all done my hair over the years and I have always been very pleased with the outcome!! If I could give higher than 5 stars 🌟 I would.

If you want amazing this is the salon for you. I have been going for over a year and have never been disappointed. My first visit I wanted to try highlights. My hair is auburn and I wasn't really sure exactly what to do. I turned everything over to Marie (the owner) and loved it! She helps me with everything from highlights, styling, products and hair smoothing. All of my family & friends love what Marie has done plus everywhere I go I get compliments from strangers! Everyone at this salon is so professional and talented. I have to make appointments in advance to be able to get a time with Marie! All of these stylists are top notch and on demand!

Plain haircut to make even. She wanted. I wanted more layers and wings. Won't go back. No offense but a black girl should be able to cut a white girls hair. I would never suggest the opposite.

I love these guys. They're all good at what they do, but of course every client has their favorite stylist :) I didn't go back here for almost a year while growing my hair out (slow growing hair), and when I finally did, they remembered my name and my kids. How many places do you find that?

I went to see Olivia for cut and color and she did a fantastic job!! I have a lot of hair. It’s pretty deceiving lol usually takes a skilled stylist 20min extra to cut and style. But she managed to give me exactly what I wanted and I absolutely love it!
