Nami is an excellent stylist as well as a lovely and kind person. I’m so grateful I found her after searching for a while for a Yuko straightening expert and talented colorist. If you appreciate precision cuts and product knowledge in a stylist, I highly recommend Nami. Her professional and genuine demeanor makes you feel at ease knowing you are in good hands.

I have been coming here for +30 yrs can’t be beat, his haircuts, I have tried since retiring and moving away and I can’t find anyone better then him, I will always come back to see him when I am in LA! Even if it is once a year!

This is the only place I trust to cut my hair. My only complaint is that it's on the westside, which is a pain for me. I'm usually working during their hours, plus the walk-in only thing can be challenging. So I get quite overdue for a haircut. It's like he looks at me and understands exactly what to do with my hair. Fast and at a reasonable price. Women who are used to certain treatment or ways of business at your typical salons may feel surprised by coming here. But I come here also in part because I hate how women at those salons act towards me. Haircuts here are straightforward and competent, at a reasonable price. And my hair never has that awkward freshly cut look, it looks good right when I walk out the door!

I've been getting my haircut by Nobu for over 20 years. No one can layer my hair like he does. He listens to what you want. No matter how far I live Irvine or now the South Bay..., he's the only stylist that cuts my hair.

I've known Nobu for about 25 years. He is a master at cutting straight hair which I have. I have never seen anyone better. He doesn't take appointments and his popularity leads to huge waiting lists. When you arrive, they will let u know how much time before you will be seen. You can go elsewhere and eat or shop while waiting so the time goes fast. When it is your time to get the cut, youll see that he cuts hair very fast and thus, the time goes by very quickly. In all excellent talent, good cuts, fast, and ridiculously inexpensive. The only problem is the lack of appointments and thus the wait It's worth it.

Nobu is an artist. He is so talented with styling and cutting that I never say a thing except to tell him where I'm going or what I want to improve about my hair (before he begins cutting it!) -- and then I just let him do whatever he wants until he is finished. I am always delighted. His is a no frills shop.: If you want chit chat and coddling, find someone else. Nobu cuts hair -- beautifully, expertly, and aesthetically. If you can place yourself in the hands of an artist, he is exactly the artist you would want, judging solely by the outcome. I've been a happy customer for more than 20 years.

Owner is very rude, customer service is horrible! He stopped cutting my hair in middle of cut, and took of my cape wildly in front of people just because I said I thought hair should be dried after cut to see if it needs more changes! I'm sorry for a hairdresser who s working in the state, and know zero English and customer service! I would nt recommend this salon specially because there is no way to make him understand what you want even if you show a picture!
