Had a horrible haircut the week before my wedding from another Seattle establishment and came here praying it could be fixed. Rachel was not only SO validating that my haircut was in fact horrible, but did an incredible job making my hair look and feel like myself again!! Will be a repeat customer. Thank you Rachel!

AMAZING! Best haircut.. ever. I got my haircut with Rachel, after friends recommending going to NOLA. I got more layers than usual and versatile bangs so was nervous going into it. Rachel listened to everything I wanted, made suggestions and completely delivered. I’m shook and my friends are in awe by how good it turned out. I also bought the dry shampoo she used on me and she was nice enough to l give me a sample of curl cream I could try it to define my waves at home. Highly recommend going here!

The haircut I had with Rachel is the best experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon in my entire life. She has amazing energy and incredible talent and I enjoyed everything about the appointment with her. And the cut she did for me turned out so unique and stylish 😎 Just awesome 😎

I have been seeing Rachel for years, and her work is consistently excellent! I have fine Scandinavian hair which is a challenge for most stylists, but Rachel is a real artist as well as a superior crafts person, and I come out with a great feeling and easy to care for beautiful cut each time!

I just moved here 6mo ago and was nervous to find a new stylist after 10 years with the same one back home. Went to see Brandon and could not be happier. He killed it! Listened to what I explained and communicated well to make sure we were on the same page. Super cool guy and great conversation during the session. Highly recommend! He's my new go to guy

I like this salon a lot, but don’t recommend going to Eunice! I went to see her last week asking for a significant change in cut + a touch up to my balayage. She modeled what the below-chin-level layers I asked for would look like by lifting up the top layer of my hair and suggested a full balayage so the layers would look consistent throughout, and I agreed. In the end she seemed to just trim the hair and the left the layers where they started, a good few inches below my shoulders. When I pointed out that I’d asked for layers starting closer to my chin, she said she’d “add a few shorter pieces” after styling but didn’t really do much to fix it or seem to care. Once I got home I also saw that the front was noticeably uneven. I ended up getting this fixed by another stylist because I was getting engagement photos done the same week, which was a frustrating added cost. The lady who fixed it also pointed out the hair was uneven without me mentioning it. Even after getting the cut fixed, I don't love the color job. For some reason one half of my hair is a lot lighter than the other half, and where the two halves come together looks blocky and uneven. Considering that she charged me for full balayage, I would have appreciated fuller coverage. Overall for the price point I will try to find someone more detail oriented next time. Photos are with the cut fixed by another stylist and full balayage by Eunice, using the same part I came in with.

I wanted to do a big cut—from mid-back to a bob—so I knew I needed to come in to get it done professionally. Jesse was so careful and methodical about it and did a phenomenal job. He asked me lots of questions to understand what I was looking for, he explained exactly what he was doing as he did it (taking off weight in the bangs, creating some lightness, evening it out). He took the time needed to get it right, even though it was late, and checked in with me throughout to make sure it was looking how I wanted it to. He was also just an excellent conversationalist and I really enjoyed talking with him during the haircut. I highly recommend!

Just moved to Seattle and researched Nola based off of location/reviews. It did not disappoint. Rachel was awesome consulting me when I first got there on what I was hoping for out of my haircut today and cut it perfectly. Couldn't ask for anything better/will definitely be going here as my regular spot.

Did a 2x appointment to get bleached and toned. I have no idea what the F happened. There is a whole list of curse words I want to spew at Nola to be honest. Was worried when I saw pieces of my hair fly all over the place getting blow dried, but was told it was just breakage and the top half of some of my hair. Got home and took a picture of my head and it appears I am actually BALD in places? This was a $400 job in total before tip. I am honestly speechless.
