Great place to work! Shelly is super professional and is helpful to all her stylists! I never ran out of towels or shampoo/conditioner! One the best places to learn how to color and define long hair! -Artsy Barber!

I cannot say enough about my recent experience at Nomobo. It's been very difficult finding a hairstylist that understands my hair and listens to what I would like it to be. Lupita is very attentive, thoughtful and breaks down everything to ensure I'm walking out with the best look for me. I learned a lot and appreciated the feedback. Definitely look forward to going back!

I didn’t want to write a bad review because my hairdresser was really sweet, but my haircut turned out really unevenly and with things I didn’t ask for (like some random short pieces of hair that stick out), which led to me getting another haircut elsewhere to fix this one just three weeks later. Maybe my hairdresser just didn’t know how to cut for curly/wavy hair or thought I wanted a super choppy cut, but that isn’t what I asked for.

I have been following Lupita around for several years now and I am so happy she has found her new salon home! Her haircuts are non-other; I've never had a stylist who does the dry cut method before and it's always so fascinating to watch her work. My hair seems to fall just perfectly after a cut from her! She is an absolute encyclopedia of knowledge and she always seems to be furthering her education every time I see her. I love that I can go to her with any hair question and truly trust the advice she gives. She deeply cares about both the quality of her work and the products she uses to help ensure her clients hair stays as healthy as possible. I brought my husband into her for a refresh; his usual stylist couldn't seem to tame a "cowlick." After Lupita's haircut, his hair styled effortlessly! And by effortlessly, I mean not at all, lol. He could sleep on his hair and wake up and it would look good with slim-to-no effort. Great stylist all around for anyone! :)

I would recommend this place for hair coloring just based on my experience and I had my expectations met. The staff are very gentle and professional, Beth took time to understand my inquiry and she did such an exceptional job!

Love my haircut! I finally found my new go-to hair salon and stylist :) Lupita was awesome. So easy to talk to and she knows her stuff. Coming in I felt very comfortable. The salon has a very laid back vibe, reception was super nice, and the place is organized and clean.

Go to Lupita! I mean, I'm sure the other stylists are really good, but she is so talented and will definitely make you feel comfortable. Plus, if you're into talking about deep topics instead of gossip, this is your girl. Afterall if you're getting your hair colored, you'll be spending a good chunk of your day with the hair dresser. So better be someone who brings light with them. Also, everyone at the salon was so nice, they made sure everything was clean and disinfected. So there you go. Go to Nomobo and try to get Lupita to do your hair.

I had gone to a previous salon that totally wrecked my hair. Came to Nomobo off a recommendation and couldn’t be happier. Lupita is so sweet and knowledgeable about all she does…walking you through the process of your treatment. She totally saved my hair. Definitely will be coming back to Nomobo for all my hair needs.

I love this place, especially Lupita! I've been coming to Lupita for about 5 years and she is truly the best in Chicago. Not only she knows how to cut/style long, thick hair, but she is the sweetest person ever. For my wedding day, she was the one and only person I considered to do my hair for that special day. I cannot recommend Lupita enough!

I visited Nomobo last week for the first time and had my hair cut by Lupita. I read great reviews about her, and she did not disappoint. She listened to what I wanted and gave me a beautiful haircut. In addition, she educated me on my hair type and gave me tips on styling techniques. She is very knowledgeable and talented. I highly recommend her and will continue to go to her in the future! Scheduled a haircut through Class Pass, just looking for a trim. Got paired with CJ and had a wonderful experience! I told him I was growing my hair out for my wedding and was conscious of not taking too much off or adding too many layers, which I really appreciated. Also did an AMAZING blow out. Would def recommend/come back.

Third time coming to Nomobo and certainly not my last! Staff is super friendly and the salon has such a cute, relaxed vibe. The products they use are really healthy for your hair and smell sooooo good! Also, super thankful for Lupita, she really listens to your hair needs and is 1000% honest with you. Very knowledgeable, sweet and professional. Definitely recommend Nomobo for any hair types, you will not be disappointed!

It was my first time at Nomobo Salon and I absolutely loved it! I just moved here from South Carolina and was looking to find a great salon that I can go to on a regular basis. I had previously emailed them to order a product that isn’t carried in the store. Patrick happily helped me and ordered the product I wanted! I booked an appointment with Kelly and she did a fantastic job. She gave me a perfect haircut and did an amazing color job! I came in wanting to be lighter and she gave me a caramel blonde color that suited me well. She was great at conversation and made me feel completely comfortable! I came in a few days after my appointment looking for new Kevin Murphy hair products for myself and my fiancé. Both Kelly and Patrick helped me pick out what was best for myself and my fiancé. I will definitely be coming back here for another appointment and recommending!
