This is one of the most incredible hair styling spots in New York. No one cuts hair with so much attention and care. Top notch service and some of the most amazing people work here. Special shout out to Dyno, who’s been styling my hair for a while now, and is just the most terrific energy to be around, and extremely talented at his craft. Thank you everyone. Can’t recommend this place enough !

Dyno has been doing my (and my fiancé's) hair for years now - we both trust him fully and he has never disappointed. The pricing for quality is unbeatable (for men and women) across cuts, coloring, etc. The man is meticulous! Also truly cares about his clients. For guys: my hair typically looks very messy after ~4 weeks after cuts at other places, but with Nonstop, I typically don't start getting annoyed with how my hair looks until 6+ weeks (most recently, I didn't cut my hair for 10+ weeks because it was done so well and still looked clean and styled like a fresher cut). In short, you pay a little higher than a typical barber cut but you get MUCH more in return. They also welcome walk-ins! Pro-tip: if you can go during the opening hour, it's typically a good time to get a slot, but if not, call ahead for a walk-in.

Dyno is hands down the best stylist I’ve had in years. They know exactly how to cut and style my hair, making sure it always looks sharp. I’ve wanted to grow my hair out for a long time but dreaded the awkward middle stage—he's mastered the art of layering so it looks great throughout the entire process. Every time I leave the chair, I feel like I just stepped out of a celebrity stylist’s studio. I’ve been going to NONSTOP STYLE for years now, and I can honestly say it’s the best salon experience I’ve ever had. The staff is incredibly friendly and always makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. They’re professional, knowledgeable, and really take the time to assess and listen to what you want. I’ve gotten both haircuts and color done here, and I’m always thrilled with the results! They really know how to bring out the best in your hair. All my friends come here now and every single one has had pleasant experiences. Staff is trained by the best in the industry and it shows. They’re super passionate about what they do and the music they play is also always fun and make the experience there amazing. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch service and a fantastic, relaxing experience! (P.S. Dyno is my go-to since day one but everyone there is equally as skilled!)

Kelvin has been my stylist for 6 years now. He’s amazing at taking care of my sensitive scalp through the bleaching and dying process, and mixes the best colors! My boyfriend and I come to him for haircuts as well. Amazing service and care for his clients!

I recently got a haircut with Simon and it was a great experience! I usually have trouble getting my straight Asian hair to stay flat, but he thinned and cut it in a way that looked amazing. I’m looking forward to coming back and getting a wolf cut next time!

I’ve been going here for over a year, and Neil has been my go-to for haircuts the entire time. Always does a great job and takes his time to make sure everything is right. I appreciate how he pays attention to the little details and is always ready with suggestions if I’m not sure how to style my hair. I’d definitely recommend him if you're looking for a great haircut!

I don’t usually write reviews and I’m always skeptical of hair salons, but Simon did such a wonderful job on my hair! He was very attentive to details and was meticulous in the way he cut and checked my hair. I never felt rushed and left the chair relaxed and happy with the cut. Highly recommend, and I will return. There’s also a small student discount!

Love it! Definitely a 10/10 haircut experience with Vice! I’ve been thinking about getting a new haircut for a long time, but didn’t know what hairstyle gonna fits me well. Vice shows his professional taste and gives me some really good recommendations about how to take care of my frizzy hair by myself. Anyways, highly recommended! Super duper fun and enjoyable experience especially with a hairstylist who has a good sense!

I got my haircut by Simon as a walk in. It went really well. He knew how to style my asian hair while also taking into account my opinions. Another thing I liked was that Simon took into account my thick hair and was able to thin it down to make it more manageable to style at home. Great experience. Thanks!

Very clean and modern salon located minutes away from the Union square station. I have had Simon cut my hair for 1.5 years now. He is truly amazing at his craft. He is very upfront and honest if something will look good on you or not. I appreciate his honesty and his attentiveness that every single strand of hair on my head is the correct length. i highly recommend everyone go to vincent !! i had pretty short hair that i was trying to transition out of a bob, and i thought adding some texture with a wavy digital perm would be perfect. i lived in seoul for one year and previously only trusted korean hair artists, but after comparing vincent’s work to other korean hair stylists in NYC, i decided to give him a chance. i reached out on insta in broken chinese haha (but he always speaks english) with a few inspo pictures and he was very responsive. when i showed up, he had already prepared all the different size hair rollers he needed to deliver my vision. i was very impressed by his professionalism, delicate touch, and friendly personality. overall, i felt he was such a very 細心 (conscientious) person that i was in the best hands!! i have SUPER thick hair and he was so patient throughout the whole process even when it proved more time consuming than expected to get all the hair into rollers. tbh, i was a bit nervous about how things might turn out since from his insta portfolio i saw he mainly worked with men’s hair. i was so shocked to see the end result was EVEN BETTER than i had ever imagined. 3 months later, i can say getting this perm has been a huge game changer. it looks perfect after i just wash it and air dry it with some product. it’s one of those “high maintenance to be low maintenance” things that will pay themselves back very quickly. vincent even sent me tutorial videos explaining aftercare and styling as well as the link to a product he thought would be helpful for me. this just goes show how thoughtful and invested in his clients he is. checkout the pics to see how my perm has progressed over time! the waves are looser now but give a softer, effortless, lived in look. to all my nyc girls out there looking for a digital perm, pls definitely give vincent a chance! i’m also getting a haircut from him today so will update. :) fyi, his ig is @v1ce0501 and mine is @annachiang_ if u wanna ask further questions!

I found this place by chance and really lucked out! My hair is a difficult texture and challenging style that many stylists get wrong. Simon pulled off one of the best cuts I’ve ever had - thoughtful guidance, major skills and extremely detail oriented. Prices great too! I’ll be back.

I received a 10/10 service from Simon. He really did a tremendous job. I showed him how I wanted my hair with reference photos and he come through. Asked to keep the length and that what he did. I’m really satisfied with my hair cut and would definitely come back to him. I’ll recommend anyone to go to Simon if looking for great services.

Had THE WORST HAIRCUT EXPERIENCE in my life with the junior stylist J.C. Complete lack of basic haircut knowledge, scrambling to find the right tools, incapable of evening out the simplest stray hair, and was practically cutting air for a solid three minutes straight. Kelvin (Master Stylist) stepped in to try to fix the mess and did the best he could, but the initial train wreck created by J.C. was just nearly impossible to fix. The fact that they had the audacity to charge $40 for a joke of a haircut is wild. Although I understand it’s their entry level pricing, I would not pay more than $10 for the completely novice experience. Can’t speak to the service of their other tiers but if you are looking at the junior stylist tier, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Giving one star to Melvin for his willingness to do damage control.

Simon did a really good job by listening to what I want and did the balayage color that really suits me well! He even fixed my hair cut due to the previous hairdresser’s poor job. He’s also very patient and gave me some suggestions for future style. Given his skills and professional, I highly recommend this store and Simon!

I recently visited Simon for the second time to get highlights, and once again, he did an amazing job! I have red and brown hair dye in my hair, which made the process quite challenging, but Simon managed to get it exactly how I wanted. Before the appointment, I send him some of my inspo pics we texted about my vision and whether it was feasible, and he was very responsive and reassuring. During the appointment, Simon was super attentive, ensuring I was comfortable the entire time. His skill and dedication to his craft are truly impressive. I'm thrilled with the results and will definitely be back. Highly recommend Simon for anyone looking for a talented and considerate stylist!

Simon has been cutting my long thick hair for more than 2 years with the upmost attention to detail, precision, and dedication. We were so surprised that the owner kindly accommodated us without an appointment ! He did advise us there were only junior staff ..we were ok with this and BOY OH BOY ! Junior ? they did a phenomenal job and we LOVED, the wash the cut and the blow dry. Perfect cut thank you ! We can highly recommend this group
