I’ve been getting my haircuts from Jay Chen for a while now, and I can confidently say he’s the best barber I’ve ever had. Ben truly saved my hair! After multiple balayage sessions elsewhere left my hair brassy and uneven, I walked into the salon without much hope. Ben took the time to listen and carefully assessed my hair, spending an incredible 9 hours fixing everything. What really impressed me was his attention to detail—he picked out each individual light strand to make sure my hair wouldn’t snap, and thanks to his careful approach, there was barely any fallout during bleaching. His patience and dedication were beyond anything I expected; most hairdressers probably would have told me there was nothing they could do. I'm so grateful for his hard work and couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend Ben to anyone looking for a skilled and meticulous stylist who truly cares about the health of your hair!

Best experience ever! I was so tired of my longhair and I found this place online. As my request, Master Kelvin styled my hair very well, and he is super nice and gentle. He also told me how to style my hair when I back home. Really love this place!!!! !!!!

I came to Kelvin with a disaster of a color correction. He preserved my hair's health and my sanity through the arduous bleaching process. He took on a problem a few hair stylists refused to even touch, solved it, then gave me a ridiculously flattering cut to top it off. It has been a long time since I have been this happy with my hair, which is nothing short of a miracle considering the mess I gave him to work with. I rarely say nice things and as a black to platinum client who sometimes waits way to long to retouch, I often have a love/hate relationship with my stylist, but Kelvin really is the best. He could have lectured me like everyone else did during my consultation but he didn't, he was kinder than I deserve. I actually look forward to my appointments. I can also say that based on my observations during a long day of bleaching, everyone walks out of this salon looking exponentially better than when they walked in.

I have been getting my hair done with Hiro for at least 6+ years for haircuts and hair color and I've never been disappointed! He takes his time, is very meticulous, and you can tell he always aims for perfection. If you have naturally dark hair like me and is looking to go lighter, I would highly recommend Hiro for your hair color! I always get compliments after I get my hair done with him and I've even had someone stop me to ask me where I got my hair done :)

I decided to try out Nonstop Style since it was located quite near to where I live and honestly it's the best decision I've ever made. Dyno was so incredibly attentive to my hair type and made sure to cut accordingly. Im so happy with my haircut, I will definitely be back.

I've been a loyal client of Dyno's for years, following him from his Union Square location to his new spot in K-Town. Every visit is a treat, thanks to his incredible skills and entertaining personality. Recently, I had a balayage and a haircut with long layers, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Had THE WORST HAIRCUT EXPERIENCE in my life with the junior stylist J.C. Complete lack of basic haircut knowledge, scrambling to find the right tools, incapable of evening out the simplest stray hair, and was practically cutting air for a solid three minutes straight. Kelvin (Master Stylist) stepped in to try to fix the mess and did the best he could, but the initial train wreck created by J.C. was just nearly impossible to fix. The fact that they had the audacity to charge $40 for a joke of a haircut is wild. Although I understand it’s their entry level pricing, I would not pay more than $10 for the completely novice experience. Can’t speak to the service of their other tiers but if you are looking at the junior stylist tier, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Giving one star to Kelvin for his willingness to do damage control.

I cut my own hair for years and finally got fed up with the unruliness and thickness. I have gone to this place a few times over the span of 2+ years. This is now my go to salon. I typically ask for hair styles with minimal maintenance in the morning every time given my jobs constant travel. Dyno did a wonderful and pristine job on giving me curtain bangs and some layers to reduce the weight of my thick hair. I don’t get any stray hairs at all (past experience in other salons). Dyno is also personable and friendly. He has a lot of experience and I find he typically has a vision based on the criteria of the client. His staff is efficient with hair wash. I highly recommend this spot!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Dyno for almost two years now and he is by and far the best hair stylist I’ve ever had. He is so incredibly meticulous and makes sure everything he does is perfect. The attention to detail is exactly what I want out of a stylist and it makes my hair cuts and color always perfect. Beyond his meticulousness he is also incredibly talented at coloring hair - most notably Asian hair (which is particularly hard to color). I’ve had my hair colored for years and never has anyone been able to properly color my hair, it’s always come out wrong or off. Now I’ve realized it’s because Asian hair is unique in how color must be lifted and Dyno understands that and is able to execute my dream every single time and sometimes even helping me figure out what would look best. Beyond Dyno, I know the other stylist in the salon are also incredible. Do yourself a favor and get your hair done here.

I've been doing my own cut and colour for over 10 years. I'm extremely picky and know exactly what shade of silver I like and what shapes look good on me. Dyno is to date the only other person on planet earth who is able to both deliver a cut and colour to my (admittedly ridiculous) expectation, AND also suggests ideas beyond my scope to make the cut fresh. Seriously recommend! You're in good hands!! Thanks again for the excellent work.

I've had horrible experiences in the past with other salons bleaching my hair and causing it to burn off so I'm very picky about who I choose to do my hair now. I came across this salon on Yelp & decided to give Dyno a try. I had balayage in the past and it's been a year since I've got my hair done again. I wanted to go fully blonde again for a while but salons kept telling me they couldn't do it because of the balayage & highlights in my hair. I had my appt w Dyno today & he explained & broke down everything step by step as to what he was going to do to my hair. Him and his assistant was very careful throughout the whole session especially when he was correcting the middle of my hair (the transitioning from black to blonde). He did a milk tea blonde color for me, I'm in love with my hair and highlyyyyy satisfied with how it came out. I'm glad I've finally came across someone I can trust with my hair. Dyno will now be my permanent hair colorist!

I’ve been getting my hair cut at Nonstop by Dyno for about a year now and have never stayed this consistent with a hairstylist and salon maybe ever. That is a testament to how amazing the cuts and stylists here are! Upon consultation with Dyno at the first appointment I was really impressed by his expertise and attention to detail. He listened to what I wanted and offered insightful suggestions tailored to my hair type and how to get from what I had to the cut I wanted. He was really clear about certain limitations and communicated what he would do to fix certain aspects of my hair. Every time I walk out of the studio I feel amazing about the cut. Highly recommend Nonstop and Dyno!!!!
