I did some research on kertain treatments & shopped around a bit before coming here, but the ladies in this salon know their stuff! I am sooo glad we came here!! First off my daughter's hair is kinda like a lions mane (its thick & long); Nora gave us an estimate & it never changed. Not only did she do a superb job, but she also smiled the entire time (& we were there for HOURS, lol not joking (my daughter has a lot of hair)! But you would have thought they were besties, she treated my daughter like family. I waited a while before writing this review just to see if the kertain treatment would hold up like they said it would & it's still Beautiful!!! If you're looking for a place trust me Nora's hands are a gifted & she truly loves what she does! ^_^ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Updated review: I still love the compassion that Nora brings to her clients, but I wished I would have done more research on kertain treatments in general... Since the 1st review my daughter has had it done again & the second round of keratin did not work as well (she used the same products so it wasn't a brand variation; also we used the recommended salon products the 2nd time around as we did previously)! Now with more research & reviews into keratin itself A LOT of people have had the same issues we have encountered such as; hair (hair follicles) not as smooth as the 1st treatment, extensive hair breakage, hair having a straw/course feeling, and treatment not lasting as long as the previous times. Again I write this update review NOT on Nora herself & or salon; just the kertain treatment itself (so please, please do your do diligence & see if this is what is truly best for you)!! I will continue to come to Nora's salon for other hair care; wash/cuts/blow-outs etc, just not keratin...

I'm only giving it one star because I can't give it any lower. They first told me $50 over the phone. Then, they told me $55 while they were doing my hair (which I thought was a bit much because they already had given me a price but I said alright). Later when I went to pay in the cashier they said $70. I almost lost it. I confronted them about it and they acted like a couple of dumbasses. Don't go here unless you want to get scammed.

Lied about their prices. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. They said $35-55 and charged me $70 because “i had too much hair”, but never told me they had raised their original price until I went to pay. Also very unfriendly when I confronted them about it. Never going back, no wonder their salon is so empty.

My experience with Nora has always been beyond my high expectations. Nora is very professional and always does a great job with my daughters' hair, my mother's hair and mine, too. Nora is a very knowledgeable hair stylist, no matter what kind of service we need, she always does an awesome job in our hairs. Consistency in her work together with her prices is what makes us come back again and again to her business.

Showed up without an appointment and Nora was absolutely wonderful to stay late to do my hair. She is a beautiful person. She completely reinvented my hair for a very important interview. I could have cried at how beautiful my hair turned out. I highly recommend Nora to everyone that will listen. I will be only going to her for now on.

After a bad hair cut at another salon and hot iron burns on my hair I got desperate and some how ended up at Nora's hair salon while I was looking for another place. I must say that was the best thing that happen to me recenly. Nora took me in without an appointment, she cut my hair and I ask for a keratin treatment which she did even that I did not have an appointment. To make a long story short, Nora fix all the damage and the kerotin treament made my hair smooth and silky again and FRIZZ BEGONE!. I love that her mom works with her, she is a really nice person. They are all great people. They speaks really good english and their prices are resonable. I mean you could go down the street and get a cheap price but by the same token you will get cheap work done.{ Been there done that} It's up to you. I saw how Nora work on my hair and other customers hair, I can say she is an artist that loves what she does. I will recommend Nora from now on and only Nora will be working on my hair when it needs it. Thank you Nora for a job well done.

This was my 2nd time visiting this salon. The first time I brought my two girls for trims and bang cuts. I remembered the price was very reasonable so I returned when I wanted a trim for myself. The salon is clean and the staff are friendly. I would remark the staff speaks primarily Spanish; there were a few times I tried to strike up a conversation but no one could understand me, so I felt a little lonely or awkward sitting there with no one to talk to during my cut. However, even with a language barrier my stylist was still able to understand what I wanted and the cut was nicely done and exceeded my expectation. The prices are not listed in the salon so I advise you ask the price beforehand, which was my mistake in not doing, as I was surprised when the charge was $40 for a wash, cut and blow dry. It was my mistake for not asking in advance and I still recommend this salon.

Went in there without an appointment, and Nora,the owner, was the one who actually helped me that day. She is such a lovely lady, and not to mention she made my 3b/3c curly hair straight faster and better with less strain than any other salon. Definitely would go there again.

Even though it was a lengthier visit than i would like, the results were fabulous. I have a lot of hair and its very curly. Usually my hair only lasts about 3 days at a time after getting straightened but im so very happy with the results! Prices are reasonable for my shoulder-length hair I paid $35 for wash, curler set, blow dry, and iron. I brought my own deep conditioner so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with anything. Going back to get pretty for my berfday :P

I have been going to Nora's for about two years and she never disappoints me. I always leave feeling great, The environment in the salon is always so peaceful ( Probably because they play Christian music) I refer all of my friends to Nora. Honestly couldn't give any opinion on any of the other stylists ( because I always schedule an appointment with Nora herself).
