I have been going here for a year! Melody is great! She listens and makes helpful recommendations when I'm unsure what to do with my hair! :) Staff is always kind and helpful and it's a clean and comfortable atmosphere! I'm always pleased with my haircuts and the whole experience!

I have been seeing Alexis at NOVA for a few years and am always so happy with my hair. I’ve gotten to know a lot of the staff and they always smile and say hi and make me feel very welcome. I usually let Alexis do what she thinks would look good on me and she always does such a good job and I leave with glossy, beautiful hair. My color always comes out great! Highly recommend NOVA.

Nova - St. Mathews is awesome from the time you walk through the door and are greeted warmly by the ladies at the desk ,until your stylist is finished and you’re on your way. My Stylist is Katie. I have been her client for more than 5 years. She is talented and confident and makes your experience important to her. She listens and will cut your hairs 1 at a time if that’s what you want. So a great conversationalist and a great stylist. What more can I say!

Got recommended Nova Salon by my friend, so I went to get my hair done for the first time since 2020. Sparkling clean, super friendly, and most importantly professional. I had a quick chat with my hair stylist (Katie V.) about what I wanted to do and she truly went above and beyond to make my wishes come true. I’ve been a client of Katie’s for about 3 years now and so sad that I’m moving to Colorado! She’s been hands down the best hair stylist I’ve ever had! She listens to me and takes into account my lifestyle when styling my hair (i.e. my day to day styling and time constraints). We’ve done everything from trims to bangs to balayage and most recently cutting my super long hair into a short bob!! I’ve loved it all and she will be hard to replace! The salon itself is also so clean and welcoming! Both locations! Frankfort and Shelbyville rd are great. I also LOVE all the products!

They are professional as well as kind and welcome me warmly at every visit. Nova is a top salon in Louisville without a doubt! It’s huge, clean, you never have to wait, and the staff is super nice, and professional! I also love their products!

The last time I went to the salon it was in October 2021 and It was also my third appointment there. The place is usually super modern and very clean looking, yet I ended up leaving with choppy looking bangs and my hair at the length I didn't want at all. Worst of all I left there with head lice. Couldn't make this up I had to treat my hair for days until it was completely gone. I was very disappointed with the whole salon and will NEVER be going back there.

Where to begin, I call to make an appointment for a light dusting and literally ended up with butchered hair, they did end up refunding me for the service but did little to fix the issue, so I ended up having to get it fixed, so it looked presentable while I wait for it grow back out. Honestly the place was beautiful inside and for so many good reviews I was shocked to have such a bad experience and then realized what everyone was saying about how are the reviews and service didn't add up. And then I ended up seeing some reviews off of Google (yelp etc) that validated my bad experience even more. Honestly it's really traumatizing when your hair gets messed up, because then it's like a bad hair day every day.… (Professionally attributed)) Luckily I knew the right people to have been able to fix it to where I wouldn't lose too much hair in the process, but all in all I would not recommend coming here.
