Oh my gosh, I have never been to such an amazing hair salon! The service here is absolutely exceptional. Norma gave me the cutest French bob, and I am beyond thrilled with the results – I truly love it and feel like I’ve gained so much confidence. I also have thinning hair, and Joel was incredibly helpful, offering great tips on managing my fine, thin hair and recommending some wonderful products to try. If you’re looking for an exceptional salon in SB, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

I love this cute downtown Salon! All the stylists are welcoming. I've been a client of Samara Canfield for almost 2 decades and I would not trust anyone else with my hair. She is a pro-colorist and such a lovely human. I always look forward to my quarterly appointment!

Joel is so knowledgeable and a perfectionist with color. His highlights are amazing, beautiful color and lots of depth. He’s a real treasure. I’m so glad to find someone so skilled and reasonably priced. I’m moving 3 hours away but will come back for the great hair he gives me.

Maybe my best haircut ever. Norma was amazing. I’m in from out of town and decided I wanted a new hairstyle. With just a few vague comments Norma gave me a great style for my wavy hair and face shape. I love it - thanks Norma.

I'm thrilled that Norma is still seeing clients! She's absolutely fantastic and I've been coming to her for years. I love my new haircut, it feels great to have it down after wearing it in a bun for last year. I was also very pleased with the safety protocols at the salon. Highly recommended! Joel is a an artist with color. Every time I come, I like it even more than the previous time. He gets to know your hair and really works with you on what you would like to see. I think he’s a master colorist. A friend had recommended him two years ago and I haven’t seen anyone since. Now I have a handful of friends that use him exclusively as well, and even a friend’s mother who is incredibly picky comes up to Santa Barbara to see him. Not only that, no awkward conversation or weird silence. Nice flow of conversation and quiet. Extremely comfortable, cozy yet airy space.

Joel is an artist! I hadn’t gone to a salon in 14 months! My COVID hairstyle was making me look older. But Joel changed all that. He is a master colorist. Base color with highlights is one of the best I’ve had. A consummate master of color! In addition he was professional yet made me feel comfortable. He is a perfectionist and spent a great deal of time on my hair. I am very happy with my new hair! Joel is my new stylist.
