Consistently incredible service! I've been going to Michael Angelo for haircuts for something like 15 years and couldn't be happier. He remembers my unique hair needs and characteristics every time, and can turn a half-baked idea into a lovely cut that grows out SO WELL. He's 11/10 for me - talented, professional and kind. Couldn't recommend him and his salon more highly!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Carson is simply the BEST! She's been my stylist for years and I can't imagine trusting anyone else with my hair. Not only is she a master at deciphering my sometimes vague descriptions (let's be honest, I don't always speak fluent "hair"), but she truly gets what I'm looking for, even when I don't know how to explain it myself. I love bringing her inspiration photos – tons of them! – with different bangs, layers, and styles. Carson expertly blends those ideas into a cut that's perfect for me. She's incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and stays up-to-date on all the latest trends. Beyond her skills, Carson is just a joy to be around. She makes every appointment fun and relaxing. I absolutely love the haircuts I get from Michael Angelo. I always walk out of the salon feeling (and looking!) incredible. He makes me feel like a celebrity. I’ve never had a bad haircut here! 10/10 for quality, service, products and experience!

Michael Angelo has been cutting my hair for years - it's so hard to find an excellent curly hair specialist who won't just give you the same boring cut! The new studio at Nuevo is gorgeous.

Such a great experience. The salon is chic and welcoming. Everyone was super-friendly, especially the salon doggie! My hair was wrecked as I’d box colored it several times, and texture was terrible. Carson and Salon Nuevo to the rescue! She spent much time evaluating and then conferred with other stylists, which I really appreciated, as I love collaboration. The color is beautiful!! Totally even, and super-shiny. The texture is improved too, and the cut is exactly what i wanted. I cannot recommend Carson and Salon Nuevo enough! I’ll be a client for life!

I visited Nuevo during a trip to Seattle. It was warm and inviting, it felt less stuffy and much more approachable than a lot of other salons. I’m honestly kind of intimidated to get my hair done in some places. The haircut I got was truly awesome. Michael is so skilled- I honestly didn’t think it was possible for my frizzy curly hair to have a bob cut without looking like the top of a q-tip. It was a big change for me since my hair has been long most of my life. Michael reassured me that it was possible and I absolutely love my haircut. I feel classy and beautiful and can’t stop playing with my hair. He even gave me tips on how to maintain the style without too much stressing. If you want a high quality haircut in an inviting space, I highly recommend Nuevo.

I’ve been going to Michael for years now; he’s amazing! I have naturally curly and fine hair and he always gives me an amazing cut and color every time. I trust his taste completely! The new location is also great with ample parking and a welcoming space. 100% recommend.

Michael has been styling my naturally curly hair for over 10 years. I was so lucky to be referred to him then. He is the best when it comes to knowing how to cut hair like mine. I always hear so many compliments after a visit with him. I love how my hair looks each time. Not only is Michael so talented, he is warm, funny and so much fun. Thank you, Michael! Nuevo is a very nice cozy hair salon in downtown Seattle. Just of 4th Ave & Westlake park. Highly reccomended. Appointment reccomended. Follows all COVID mask / cleaning advices.
