I went to the Austin location on the south side of town on the evening before Thanksgiving. It was my first time here. I found them on Apple Maps when searching for a beauty school. Hardly any beauty school was open this week because of the holiday, so I thought I would drive all the way down here to try something new. I got a basic mani pedi from Destiney R. She was excellent and it was hard to tell she was actually a student. I live way up on the other side of town, so it can be an hour to drive here with bad traffic, but I would definitely come see her again someday when I have time.

Scheduled an appointment for a haircolor I drove from out of town just to be told the person who was supposed to do my hair color wasn’t there! What a waste of time no consideration a phone call canceling the appointment would have been appreciated and I wouldn’t have wasted my time

I went there a couple of weeks ago and no one informed that they do pedicure without water? for real and cost me $18 plus tip. I never heard of such thing like that.

If you do end up coming to this school just know Ms. Rachel is the best teacher ever! I had such a hard time in this school before she came along and she came along and made the rest of my time here the best! She goes above and beyond for her students and I can’t thank her enough for how much she’s done for me and her other students. I can literally go on and on about her

We brought 2 of our special needs kids in for hair wash, detangle, and trim. One of them had some challenges and Mary handled it perfectly! Ms. Angie, Josh, and Mary did a great job of making us and the kids feel comfortable. Will be back soon!

My mom and I came for mani/pedi’s, and our experience was amazing.Ms. Juanny was so helpful over the phone in scheduling our appts. and ensuring we were given the best care once there. We had a private room to ourselves and were able to enjoy conversation without the hustle and bustle of some of the other establishments. Guadalupe & Cynthia gave one of the best pedicures and manicures we’ve ever had. They’re truly talented, and their attention to detail was superb. We will definitely be returning!

Aww. I miss school here. Time spent here was so fun. If you're interested in hands on learning this is the place for you. Time spent here is 1000% what you make out of it, my instructors here always helped when times where difficult for me, they always tried to approach us in a loving, caring manner..and my questions were always answered. Everyone was always encouraging each other. Time here is entirely what you make out of it. Focus, learn and be dedicated. Understand that you are there to learn and do as much as you can -with a heart full of love and kindness. Time flies by when you're having fun so sit down, buckle up and enjoy the ride!

I just received the absolute worst haircut I have ever received in my life. I wouldn't recommend this place to Nobody. When I paid $88 for c***, I asked for a certain color yeah, they got it to that color and then they had a stick of brown toner on it and screw it up till my hair is red now when I wanted it blonde and it's the worst haircut I've ever received, please don't waste your money. They will ruin your hair.

Turn back. It's a waste of time. It's best to seek professionals somewhere else. Unless you want your hair butchered and take your money. If your a student, find a better school than that.

My experience as a student was amazing!! The staff and teachers went above and beyond to accommodate me. They made sure that we students understood everything. They worked until we were confident and understood everything about being a Cosmologist. They also took extra time to help us prepare for state board!! I give them a 10 out 10!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The management Venus is so unprofessional. Do not enroll here you get what you pay for and if you are trying to do cosmetology there are better schools. Trust me!

I previously left a glowing review for this business. After being out of state for 3 1/2 months. Made an appt a week out, arrived on time and was told “you’ll have to wait until we complete the clients we have”. Waited 40 minutes and then was overcharged. Tried to charge for a hair cut when all he had was a hair wash. Silly me, made another appt. called 15 mi items early to see “if they could take him”. Was told “they were completely booked”. So even though I had made an appt the previous week since it was for merely a hair wash”, they were completely booked. Interesting that several instructors had left during the time we were out of state. Probably reflective of the culture of the business

Nuvani is a excellent school definitely your looking for something affordable and lots of hands on work experience each teacher is unique and caring and loving and understanding of each students. Learn a lot. Esthetician and cosmo programs are 💯

Tip for students who might be considering studying at this school. Very bad management, issues are resolved slowly or not at all. I was persuaded to buy a professional cosmo kit from them, (never buy without looking !!!!) it turned out to be worse than the ever, and even for a lot of money, the tools in it turned out to be defective and they did not want to make a refund, despite the fact that they were obliged to the law. After graduating from school a month ago, I was only able to sign up for one written test, and there is no access to the second, because the school notes that I am still studying there. I could already have a license and work, but I can't because of this school, which does not resolve issues in time and properly. Very upset and regret this choice of mine.

Got my wig did. Cut, color, & blow out. Then came back to get my nails & eyelashes done. Everyone is super sweet. I'm in love with how amazing great everything come out. 💜❣️💇💅
