Chelsie rescued my hair after a stylist at a different salon butchered my pixie cut. I have incredibly coarse, dense, thick hair which needs a lot of texturizing and thinning. She said she enjoys cutting short hair and she’s incredible at it! Her salon is adorable, and is well stocked with drinks and snacks. She spoke to me like a friend from the get-go and made sure to alert me before the appointment about a potential schedule change. When I sat in her chair, she listened to what I wanted and was absolutely focused on getting the cut right. I just wish I had found her salon sooner!

NW 21st is amazing. Chelsie has been cutting my hair (and my kids’ hair!) for years and I will not go anywhere else. I’ve been happy to follow her as she moved around the city and even happier now that she has her own shop at NW 21st. She has done an incredible job running a top notch business even during tough Covid protocols. I always leave feeling 10x better than when I walked in. If you want an incredible cut and an overall great salon experience, this is the spot.

Chelsie is A-1! I’ve been coming to see her for the last three years and I’ve never been disappointed. She’s patient, listens and is the bomb when it comes to color. I have very thick hair and I finally found someone that can thin it perfectly. I can’t say enough good things about Chelsie. She’s fab! Now my daughter comes to see her too! 😊

This cute and clean salon has some of the best talent in Portland! I follow Chelsie wherever she goes because she is the best. She has extensive knowledge and experience with hair color and styling and always makes my hair look great. I recently needed color correction (my own doing) and she took on the challenge and made my hair better than ever! If you want and honest and talented stylist, this is the place to go!

Emily is super accommodating. She spent a long time to make sure I liked how the cut & color turned out, which I really appreciate & even invited me bk to work the color some more of I didn't like it in a couple of days.The price was more than fair & the salon is really cute & conveniently located.
