I come here routinely for my threading (face) but I tried the Brazilian wax today and I loved it , the young lady (the tall one) was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and offered me the hard wax which she did a great job ! I will be back

This was the most painful threading I’ve ever experienced. I routinely get threaded, and this was worse than my first time. The lady was so fast and rough. I was jolting from the pain, and after a minute of jolting and tearing up, she finally slowed down to a normal pace. When she gave me my change, she seemed shocked I didn’t tip. I usually tip $10, but I decided not to because of the pain and the fact that she seemed indifferent to my discomfort. I only had my upper lip done, which usually isn’t that bad, especially since I get it done routinely. Please be aware of this. I’ve been threaded by multiple people, and even those who go fast have never caused this much pain.

The eyebrows were done well… however when it came to tipping I wanted to input my own amount and the lady told me “most people tip 20%”. I can tip however much or little I want, that was very off putting.

I love this salon. They do excellent brows and they do very well with tinting. I have tried their lashes before, but I do find that I prefer individual lashes more as it’s more comfortable. If you’re going to do Lashes though here, I recommend there silk lash as it’s way more comfortable than the regular lash. Sometimes they do use a little bit too much glue though to do the lash so I’m just informing you about that. However, I do love what they do for brows and waxing the nose hairs. I went them to wax my nose hairs because I was tired of my nose hairs bothering me, and they did an excellent job. Honestly I will keep going back to them for brows. because they do my brows the best for the best price. I go do individual lashes somewhere else now, but I always come here for browse and brows tinting. Their services are really great. Make sure that you get their business card and you have them sign it every time you go so that you can get free brows at the end of filling out the card. I always tip when I go here because they do really good services.

I have been coming to this eyebrow salon for a few years now. Some of the employees have an attitude most of the time. I went in a few days ago and said hello to the employee as she had someone on the seat and 1 more person waiting on the bench. I sat down and she said “I just to let you know there is an hour wait because I have the person on the seat, 1 more person waiting and a wax to do”. So I asked how long would it be and she answered an hour. I said ok I will be back and then went to run an errand. I came back in 30-35 mins to wait on the bench and the employee was in the back with a customer waxing. I couldn’t see her but she asked “is that you?” I answered yes. Then she started talking about me to the customer saying I told her an hour. I didn’t see any sign that a customer couldn’t wait inside the salon since I have been coming here for years. She continued talking about me and so did the customer. It was loud enough for anyone to hear. I felt so uncomfortable that I decided to leave. I will no longer be coming to this salon. They are rude and unprofessional!

I have been getting my eyebrows done here for over a year. Each time I get them done, they look super nice! The threading is very quick and not super painful, so if you’re looking for a place to get your eyebrows threaded, check them out

It was a decent experience. I had my first waxing and my skin was torn. I can't really blame the shop since I have sensitive skin and I use retain-A. I will get the threading next time I come. My tinting was good but was rounder than I prefer. That's a me not telling her my preference though so can't really blame her for that either. And my upper lip was threaded well too. It was a total of $26 so it's definitely worth the price I paid. Would come back again.

Job was thorough but attitude and service awful. Laila was rude and dismissive of my requests as a customer and went as far to lecture me. Ruined my day. Won’t be coming back.

This place is solid for eyebrow threading- always do a good job that's quick and painless. Get the lotion afterwards and get treated to a mini minute message of your brows ;) it's the best!

Girl did a quick, gentle and precise job threading my eyebrows. Only cost $7! I'm not from the area so I got lucky going to this place. I'll definitely be back here whenever I'm in Manhattan.

I am always very weary of who to get my eyebrows done with and tried fancy to low end salons in hopes I can find a woman to understand my eyebrows. I grew my brows out for two months before visiting this salon per the good reviews (and I was working downtown this day) and came across Babhi who gave my eyebrows life again. It's hard to find a salon that can beautifully arch the eyebrows to your liking and she mastered it and advised me the areas to continue growing. Would HIGHLY recommend. You can always make a quick appointment on Yelp too!

I go here all the time and love it. The reviews made me skeptical but I was desperate for a place that was open on a Sunday one weekend. I’m super picky about my eyebrows but they all actually did a great job and I haven’t gone anywhere else since that June 2017. I definitely recommend it. Bobby (sp?) and Geena are especially great but I don’t mind going to anyone! Love this place and it’s next door to my apartment.

I've gotten my eyebrows threaded for over 7 years - this was the first time I've ever gotten cut. This is sloppy work and will take over a week to heal. They also pressured me to tip more - I find that a little unfriendly, especially in a city that has so many eyebrow salons as options. Would not come back.

NY Brows and Beauty Salon is the WORST eyebrow salon I have ever gone to. I asked them to waxed my eyebrows and they waxed a huge chunk off and decided to thread without my permission. I recommend you not to go there. If I could I would give them a zero star rating
