I called in advance that I will be using vouchers that I paid for. They told me yes no problem to come through and he even scheduled me the appointment. I made it all the way there just for them to change their minds and say “we don’t do vouchers anymore “. What is the point of calling in advance if you’re going to get the wrong information?!?! Please have your staff work on their communication. Been a loyal customer for over a year but that’s it, I’m done.

This is a wonderful UWS neighborhood spa. You are always greeted by a friendly reception staff and instantly made to feel welcomed. The facilities are very clean and hygienic. Great menu options and pricing. The masseurs at the spa are well trained and are able to custom your massage to target specific areas of concern. I always leave feeling refreshed and relaxed! Highly recommend this Spa!

I had body & foot massage. The therapist couldn’t communicate and didn't ask any questions prior to the massage. The vibe is weird. She spent most of time on my back and foot which was uncomfortable and running out of time for front body. I won't be back

A male employee from this place has bad manners. I left my phone, and he was very excited to steal it (looking for it). Lucky me, i came first to retrieve it. He tried to steal it at 6:30pm.

I recently visited Renewing Spa 2 for a 90- minute massage. The person I spoke to on the phone to book my appointment was very friendly and helpful, and when I arrived I was immediately given a cup of cold water. Things went downhill from there. First, I was asked to pay before my massage, which I’ve never experienced in any of the many spas I been to. It’s impossible to know what kind of tip is appropriate before the massage. Inside the cubicle, there was a sign: "We are a legitimate service. No hanky panky," which made me very uncomfortable. What is going on here if that sign is necessary? The massage therapist did not introduce himself or ask any questions before starting: "Do you have any injuries? What would you like to focus on? Are you in pain today?" Initially, the pressure was good but gradually diminished. At one point, the therapist left the room without saying anything, returning a few minutes later with hot stones I hadn't requested. These stones were painfully hot (I don’t know how he was able to hold them), and the time spent using them was shorter than the time he was out of the room. During the leg massage, he massaged one spot with one hand for several minutes, making it clear he was using his phone with the other hand. This one-handed technique continued for about 15 minutes on my left leg. When I lifted and kept my head out of the face cradle, he abruptly switched to my right leg, massaging it vigorously with two hands for only a couple of minutes. The massage ended with him repeatedly pulling on my feet, then lifting and dropping my legs, leaving me with ankle pain that has persisted since the session. I experienced no relief from the sore muscles that prompted me to book the massage. Upon leaving, the reception area was empty, and the door was locked. A woman finally appeared but then blocked my way while the therapist rudely asked “Cash or card for the tip?”. Given the poor quality of this lackadaisical massage by someone who was obviously distraction by his phone, I had no intention of leaving a tip. It was several minutes before I was allowed to leave. I do not recommend Renewing Spa 2 and will not be returning.

i adore this place. nothing fancy by any means, but it’s quality service at affordable prices. i’ve also never had any issues with the staff, and the man at the front desk is just a gem! my only advice is that you might have to try a few different masseuses until you find one whose style suits you. once you do you’ll never go anywhere else!

Renewing Spa 2 was truly an experience. My first time getting a massage and it was wonderful!! Very relaxing and now too rough on my muscles. She hit every tense area which put me to sleep to the point of snoring. All in all a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it. The place was extra clean and the atmosphere was calming. The music was very soothing as well. I will definitely go back.

I've come to this spa several times and had wonderful massages, but was given someone who completely didn't know what they were doing today. About ten minutes into my massage, the masseuse tweaked something in my right shoulder that immediately made me flinch in discomfort and move my arm up to "pop" whatever had been pushed out of place. He spent maybe a minute trying to fix whatever it was he had done, but clearly had no idea what he was doing or how to fix the pain I was in. So I spent the rest of the 50 minutes in discomfort, telling him my shoulder wasn't comfortable several times, as he just continued the rest of the routine he had half been trained to do. As a whole, even if he hadn't hurt my shoulder, I would be giving one star The whole massage was rushed and not well done. He started the massage by starting the timer and then immediately leaving the room for a minute, while my husband's masseuse started his work. They also had us turn over with two minutes left in the massage and left the room when we did that (which I've never had happen at any massage before). To make matters worse, when I told the woman at the front desk that he hurt me, she just said "oh I'm sorry" and then "have a nice day" after we paid. Horrible costumer service. Not sure if this place has changed management or if they just put their less trained staff to work on Tuesdays, but I'll definitely not be coming back. Truly disappointing service.

Love it here. Came here for my birthday and the female therapist did everything for my body and foot work!!! The guy at the front desk is very sweet and nice. I’ll be back again. 11/10!!!
