Got my color done with Rae and my haircut with Paulina. Absolutely loved my experience with both. I’m a brunette and was worried about bleaching my hair but Rae took her time to talk to me and explain the process, she did the color exactly how I wanted it. I am so pleased with her! She checked again after I got my haircut! I will see Rae and Paulina again! It’s a bit pricy but worth it!!!

I went to NYC the team looking for a root touch up and trim but I was also struggling with the fact that I needed to do this every few weeks . What impressed me the most was the genius solution to my hair management woes given by Ray and the most wonderful haircut by Jacelyn . This place has some of the best experts and friendliest staff I’ve come across - I think I found my go to place finally in NYC 😍

Shelia did a brilliant job with my curly hair! Her dry cut brought back the beautiful shape that had somehow wandered off over the years. If you have curls, I highly recommend her!!

The service at the salon was great, but I was extremely disappointed with the outcome of my hair color. As a Black woman, I take a lot of pride in my hair and put significant trust in trying a new salon. Unfortunately, the color turned out too yellow and patchy, which was not what I expected. To make matters worse, I believe I had an allergic reaction to the products used. When I reached out to the salon, they offered to fix the color but refused to provide a refund or even a partial refund, despite the damage done to my hair. If you’re a woman of color, I would recommend going to a salon that understands how to work with natural hair and caters to your specific needs. I spent $700 for a result I’m truly unhappy with, and it was a disappointing experience overall. I hope the salon can use this feedback to improve their approach.

I was just in town visiting, but REALLY needed my hair colored. I was staying in the area and this had the highest reviews… I can totally see why! Once you get up to the 7th floor, it’s a relaxed atmosphere and all of the staff are super friendly. I made an appointment for cut and color and by luck, I got Michelle (the owner), for my color. My home colorist was making it too brassy and I needed to tone it down, but still have a nice dynamic shade. Michelle totally nailed it. The haircut with Paulina was equally amazing. She cleaned up my layers and gave me a cool, modern update to my haircut that moves really well. I’d say it’s expensive (because I’m not from the area) but I think this is what most salons in the area charge, so I don’t think it’s a negative. And of course, you get what you pay for. I also just saw their Insta page and think Blake Lively was just here and I always think she has such gorgeous color. Worth a visit!

I recently visited this lovely salon for a haircut and toning to correct a balayage that I had done elsewhere. Kim, the colorist, listened carefully to my concerns about it and did an incredible job toning it, transforming it from an ashy mess into a beautifully balanced shade that I absolutely love. Paulina gave me a haircut that perfectly complemented it, and her attention to detail was impressive. She even curled it so quickly into a style I absolutely love and has lasted me for two days now. Mohammed was awesome and so nice, too. The team’s expertise and kindness truly made this visit exceptional. Highly recommend for their top-notch service and skilled professionals. Will definitely be back!

First off, I was so impressed with how posh and modern the interior is! Granted, the Salon is located on 5th Ave, so I wouldn’t expect anything less. Decoratively speaking, it’s well-curated, and truly is made to be an upscale boutique experience. Michelle, the owner, has such a great spirit and her staff is exuberant and accommodating, not to mention skillful, with a plethora of different specialties. A particular standout for me as well was Alexa, the manager, who has an absolutely lovely energy and she made me feel incredibly welcome. I had the pleasure of getting a cut by Hana — she was attentive and amenable to all of my questions and concerns about trying something new with my hair after several years of the same style, and it was everything I could’ve wanted. Not to mention, the complimentary glass of wine elevated the experience that much more. It’s the little things :) Notwithstanding the sublime service and professionalism, the price was also excellent for a Salon on 5th Ave. I will most definitely be back soon — I think I just found my new spot!

Its been a few months since my appt and i still love my hair cut. I was getting married late March and saw Paulina for a haircut about a month prior (risky i know!). My usual person at another salon was on vacation for 2 weeks so I took a chance on someone else. My haircut experience was phenomenal. Paulina understood what I was looking for and executed perfectly. I have very straight, thick long hair. However, just because its very straight, doesn't mean its fine, each individual strand is actually quite thick and a lot don't quite understand hair texture very well. I end up with a horrible cut where the end pieces look ragged. I usually do layers and a face frame and i like it so that my hair lays smoothly and isnt chunky. Paulina got the assignment. I will be back!

Mohammed gave me the lilac hair that I have been wanting! My hair was already prelightened from years of bleach and I definitely did not want to further damage it. The communication on my desired hair color (I didn’t want it to be too intense or bold) without compromising the health of my hair was thorough and appreciated. He is super chill and very sweet. Very happy with the outcome! Def recommend a color session with him. :)

Love The Team, most specifically, Kim R! She paints my hair so elegantly, when my roots grow it feels natural. Wouldn’t trust anyone else. They also take the best care of you, tea/ water/ coffee - feels like home 🤍

I've been here before for a fabulous cut by Jacelyn-amazing sense of style and gave me exactly what i wanted-face framing layers and texture. Very detailed and it's already growing out beautifully! After the amazing experience, i asked her to recommend someone to do my highlights and she didnt think twice to recommend Rae Ann. I shared my inspiration photo, and Rae Ann delivered! I wanted subtle chocolate brown highlights but enough that it would show off my black hair. She nailed it and it looks completely effortless and so damn natural! Forget the fact that she was a pleasure to chat with and made the experience one of the best along with Jacelyn's cut. I highly recommend both! All worth it! They have a client for life. Thank you Jacelyn and Rae Ann, i look and feel amazing!

How have I not left a review before?! Been going since I moved to NYC and I haven't looked anywhere else!! Paulina and Mohammed are so skilled, will do their best to fit you in and the whole experience is relaxing from start to finish. They will also advise you with the truth which is a big thing for me at the hairdressers. Highly recommend!

I went there for a sun-kissed balayage and I'm so happy with the results! My hair looks natural and healthy, with subtle highlights that add dimension and depth. Love it! The staff is friendly and welcoming, the stylists are talented and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Mohammed! I can't wait to go back.

love this place!! natalia is the best. i’m a blonde who grew up in california. it took me years to find someone in the city that gave me that natural california blonde. and then i found natalia. after years of flying home to get my hair done, i now exclusively go to natalia. i leave feeling like a barbie (yet natural) and the way she paints the highlights makes it so it grows out so pretty. run don’t walk to her chair!!

After many years of coloring and cutting my own hair at home, Ive decided to finally leave it to the professionals. After 2 years of growing out my last color job, I decided I wanted a change again. I went to multiple consultations and messaged many other salons about what I wanted, but I didn’t feel confident until I landed here. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted but provided my colorist Priscilla and stylist Jacelyn pictures of what I liked and they went to work. First, the color… I knew I wanted to go with more natural colors this time, so I opted for some brown shade that matched my skin tone. Priscilla took into consideration all my concerns and helped me decide on a color based on what suited me best. After our brief consultation, I definitely knew I was in capable hands, and I am 100% in love with the results. I feel more confident and better in my skin. I highly recommend Priscilla for all your hair concerns and color jobs! 10/10 Super friendly and attentive. Last, the cut… I’ve never had a professional salon cut done before and I was frankly, very nervous. I knew I wanted face framing bangs, which I had previously that turned out horribly. I showed a few images to Jacelyn and I was advised to avoid bangs that stop at the cheek and to instead go for longer bangs. I am so grateful I listened, because I absolutely love my new hair cut. My hair feels lighter and my ends feel healthy. I love the bangs, not too short, and something safe for the first cut. 10/10, super sweet and easy to work with! Overall, I had a great first experience here and I will 100% be back. I cant recommend it enough, the staff here is extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable. There is not one moment where I felt concern about the condition of my hair. The most relaxing experience ever! Highly recommend coming here for all your hair concerns and needs. Ask for Priscilla and Jacelyn heh.

I’ve gone to countless salons in the past and this really is the best in nyc. I see Kim for color and Chloe for cut/styling and I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else. They really get to know your hair and what works for you/what you need. Everyone takes such good care of you here. Michelle, the owner, is a gem and has created the loveliest and most welcoming place. Beautiful space and absolutely the most wonderful people. I always leave looking and feeling my best

I have crazy thick, wavy hair and the ladies did an amazing job. The salon is in a great space and everyone is super friendly. Highly recommend

NYC The Team is incredible. As simple as that. Owner Michelle created an absolutely gorgeous aesthetic and warm environment, at an incredibly convenient location. The staff is the most trained and talented staff I've ever been to. They are so kind and fun, and can nail exactly the look you are going for, or are great a helping to find a new look when you need a fresh start. Personally, I can't yell this recommendation loud enough - Natalia for color and Chay (Sheila) for cut and style is the all-star team of your dreams. When I met these incredible women, my hair was straight, long, and box dyed black. I've been seeing them for 10+ years. I followed them from their old salon, and come in all the way from Eastern Long Island to see them. I literally feel like I have celebrity hair stylists - I've had the most amazing cuts of my life, and my "frosty" balayage color is meant for a magazine. The hospitality is incredible, and I love that I can spend the day sipping coffee and chatting, or pop in my head phones and "work from home." 10/10 can't recommend enough. If you book with Natalia and Chay, you'll find yourself right where I am, writing an incredible review about your amazing experience and fabulous hair. <3

Such a lovely salon. Everyone is so professional and so accommodating. From the moment you walk in everything is perfect-the space itself is gorgeous, every person there is warm and welcoming, and the service they provide is incredible. Chloe is amazing for hair cuts-she has so much technical knowledge about hair and leaves you with a perfectly tailored to you cut that promotes healthy hair. And she’s so much fun to talk to while she works magic!
