the first photo is what my hair normally looks like after blow drying, and the second is after my japanese hair straightening treatment with sandy! it took about 4 hours and she explained each step for me! sandy was unbelievably professional but also incredibly personable! she truly is exceptional at what she does and i am over the moon happy with the results (also the hair looking lighter is purely from the lighting in the car! the process did not make my hair actually lighter)

Around this time last year I got the Japanese hair straightening! Sandy was amazing and the results (even a year later) have been awesome. I have Re-growth now and I want to desperately get my hair treated again! However, I’m waiting until after my pregnancy! As soon as baby is out (due July 5th) I plan to get the treatment done again!

Oak Ridge Hair Design is S-Tier! The salon has a welcoming atmosphere, a clean studio with an at home sense of energy. The wonderful cosmetologist Sandy Kapp was of excellent service to me. Sandy's presence and conversation from when I entered the salon to exiting was blissful, a warm, caring, bonus mother energy. We did the Japanese Straightening treatment, a phenomenal experience. Sandy's work is top notch, she operates gracefully with finesse, is precise with every section of hair and is patient through the process, a true artist at her finest. My hair looks and feels magnificent, truly. Sandy is my cosmetologist! My family and loved ones as well others that seen me were filled with excitement, so amazed! Some of things said were, "you look like a Final Fantasy character!", "A real life anime!", "J-Pop + K-Pop star!" to say the few and the list goes on. Sandy is amazing!! Not only did she do a great job on my hair she went a step above and used THREE different levels to avoid damaging my recently at home (I know) colored hair. If that’s not all, the chemicals or maybe food poisoning made me nauseous and I must have gone to the bathroom 10x in 4hrs and she was so very very patient. Thank you so much for an amazing job and truly caring about hair, I can’t wait to show you how I’ve cared for my hair in these next months before my touch up!

To anyone wanting to get this treatment done, definitely go to Sandy! She is amazing at what she does! I’ve gone to her twice for my treatment and for my touch up! My hair has never looked so good! Even with tradition relaxers! The process might be long but the results are to die for! Can’t wait to see what my next touchup looks like in 6 months!

I am so thrilled I finally found someone who can do Japanese straightening here in Florida. I used to only get it done whenever I go visit home in the Philippines. And Sandy is a pro. She did an amazing job!!! I love that she’s very knowledgeable about hair. It took 4 hours to do the whole process and the entire time, Sandy was very attentive and so fun to talk to. I’ll be coming back regularly for sure.

I got my hair Japanese straightened here by I believe Sandy, unfortunately I miscalculated what the price would be and wasn't able to add an additional tip but her work is amazing and she's really sweet, my hair went from a 3a-3b texture to pin straight and very soft and flowy it's hard to believe it's my own! I highly recommend her the experience here was great

I got the Japanese Straightening treatment and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I have naturally unmanageable frizzy hair and straightening my hair was a few hours process. I’ve been thinking about getting this treatment for a while, but wouldn’t do it because you need someone who truly understands your hair. Thankfully I came across Sandy who took her time to study my hair and did an excellent job. Now I can’t believe my hair is so silky and straight!

I went in to consult for either a keratin treatment or the Japanese hair straightening and Sandy talked me into the Japanese hair straightening. It’s been almost a week. I’ve washed it and it’s so straight and looks so healthy and I’ve gotten so many compliments! Love it. Sandy is so talented and so personable. Happy holidays!

I highly recommend Sandy. This was my first time getting a Japanese hair straightening and I just love the result. Sandy did an amazing job. I have long hairs and It took about 4 hours or maybe a little over that and she didn't even take a little break, kept working on my hairs until the process was completed. I love how detailed and knowledgeable Sandy is. She trimmed off my damaged hairs, checked the strength of my hairs and used an appropriate concentration of solution that best suited my hairs. I couldn't be any happier. Thankyou so much Sandy!

Let me start by saying that part of my hair is bleached. So, I had low expectations and was not sure I was a candidate for the Japanese straightening process. I googled, found Sandi and made an appt. She studied my hair for at least 25min. After reviewing different parts of my hair and testing it, she told me she felt confident doing it and we started the process. I have long hair so it took at least 4-5 hours. Sandi never stopped, she worked non stopped and was very gentle with my hair (Ive done keratine treatments before and I know how hard sometimes they pull ur hair). The result was amazing, my hair looks amazing!!!!… and ultimately, she is amazing!!… she made conversation when needed and honestly the time passed by fast. She is very professional and will tell you if you are a candidate or not. She will not damage your hair, she has integrity and talent!!..and I also think her pricing was more than fair. I highly recommend. You hair is safe with her🌈

Very happy with the results of my Japanese Hair Straightening! My hair is frizz free and shiny! I used to have to spend so much time blow drying my hair with a round brush and then flat ironing it which was damaging my hair even more. It was constantly frizzy, dry, and dull looking. Now, all I have to do is wash it and go (however, I like to dry my hair so it’s not wet). I’ve had Japanese Hair straightening at a few other salons and have had bad experiences. Some salons are very rough and really pull your hair so hard that it hurts, or the straightening wasn’t very straight or permanent. Sandy is wonderful at what she does and is very professional. Sandy really knows what she is doing and was gentle. In addition, she has a wonderful personality and I really enjoyed my time talking with her. I’m so excited I found Sandy and will definitely be coming back to see her from now on!
