The owners are the kindest most wonderful people on the planet and deserve the world! They work so hard and the attention to detail is excellent. I’ve been to several high-end spas and always get better nails here than anywhere else. I hope they can the attention of the San Diego community outside of Ocean Beach because this place is an absolute gem.

Love going here for a pedicure! They are all so nice and do a good job. I get the pedi that comes with everything #5 and gel polish. Comfy chairs. Street parking.

Fabulous nail shop!! Perfect place to get a beautiful gel manicure because they don’t use a drill! They truly take the time to preserve the health of your nails and give you the prettiest results. Love their pedicures too as well as the massage chairs!

Would not recommend. Took 3 hours for a full set and pedicure. The full set took 2 hours and my friend had hers done it only took 1 hour. We were there sitting talking about how hungry we were… as we’re checking out we see they have snacks and waters which no one offered. My nail design was “too complicated” (it was a feather) and then I showed some simple leaves and they’re not what I showed them, they added random dots and the leaves don’t touch the branches and it’s got blobs of uneven strokes. I showed my boyfriend and even he said “it looks like a kindergartener painted those”. I got them done on Saturday, it’s Monday and a nail is already breaking off.

Horrible nail tech. Pedicurist was ok. But everything else was the worst. The tech waited until she had nails on my hands to tell me she couldn't do the length that I needed. When I tried to explain why I needed long nails she cut me off and said if I wanted long nails then I should have gone somewhere else. Then long nails take too long. Then she was too scared to do them. So after all her excuses I decided that I didn't want a gel color, just regular. She was MAD. She shaped them wrong and ignored any time I said something. She filed the acrylic so thin I can see my natural nail through it. There's divots all over. The acrylic went well over my cuticles. They started lifting 15 MINUTES after I left. She did a horrible job and tried to guilt me into add ons even though she refused to do what I needed. I'll NEVER go back. I wouldn't recommend this place to the person I like least in the world. I wish them only inconvenience for the rest of their days.

I've gotten same day appointments if I called by 11, friendly staff, and a clean salon with newer chairs. They use foot basin liners and wear gloves. Great color selection for both natural and gel, and do a basic Mani Pedi for $40. Soothing music and atmosphere, I've always felt welcomed.

Love this place! The technicians are so friendly and welcoming! The service is top notch and the massage chairs are the best I’ve experienced to in the SD area! This is a great service at a great price! So thankful to have them in my neighborhood!

OB Hair and Nails is a hidden gem in OB. The service is excellent. The salon is very clean. Their massage chairs are so comfy. Kimmy is the best at mani-pedi’s. Gel manicures too. Love this place

I have been coming here for two decades. I am always so happy when it’s time to get my nails done because I enjoy seeing everyone there. And they do a great job. My nails hold up to Jiujitsu and life no problem.

Best Brazilian Wax and Pedicure I’ve ever had!!! I’m highly considering the 8 hour drive back to OB for more TLC. Usually I leave a wax feeling slightly sticky and raw but this was not the case here. The pedicure was just bomb for the price, what a treat. Cute little shop, you won’t be disappointed. Loved that they fit me in and were flexible with my changing vacation plans. Now if I could just talk them in to relocating to Zion National Park, my backyard.

I have gone to OB Nails for many years. Nancy abd staff are wonderful. They are always accommodating. I go every 4-6 weeks with my husband. The shop is very clean and they use sterilized instruments. I look forward to my pedicures.

Simple, clean, and updated place. The staff is friendly and the chairs are newer. Prices are very reasonable. There aren't any fancy frills, bling, or bottle service. It's just a good, basic local nail salon with people who pay attention.

Artful service in a tranquil environment with soft music and nature scenes on the TV. The salon is nicely decorated; staff is courteous, and fast, with a high standard of professionalism. Great massage chairs to enjoy while getting nails done. They have plenty of staff. Four people walked in at once when I was there and they were accommodated immediately. Pedicure/ polish has lasted three weeks, even with my barefoot-in-the-sand habit. I will always go back, for the high quality service, reasonable prices, and relaxing environment .
