Effective massage that helped my sore neck. Wouldn’t say relaxing but deep tissue doesn’t always feel good, as long as it gets the job done.

Came to get a massage this past Sunday because I have a lot of prior injuries from the military. I called this place for a chair massage for an hour and the lady yes. When I go there it wasn't a chair to be seen but rooms. I was already far out the way so I chose to stay and get a regular massage. While I explain again that I only wanted an hour was asked for an additional hour during the massage and I said no. Now, I get massages quite frequently, so much that i tend to fall alseep so time management is on the professional giving the massage not the customer. That is part of the problem. While the massage was good I just checked my account to find out I was charged double the price. The price was repeated back to me but my fault for not getting the receipt. She ask for tips and I felt bad for not having any cash on my I went to the gas station next door to grab some cash to give to her. Now, not only was I charge more than what I asked for I added a tip on top of it which is messed up. I will not be going back and I do not recommend anyone to go unless they get something in writing what you are getting upfront. Shame, it seems you have to get a contract to get a massage these days.

Honestly such a horrible experience I actually was so shocked at how unprofessional Judy was I absolutely think she deserved to be fired. It was such a painful massage. She only served me half the time and I had to pay full price. Absolutely disgusting!

The most unprofessional and no work ethics by Judy who was the massage therapist on May 01st at 6pm that I went to. I suggest the owner to look into this as she is very unprofessional and I paid for an hrs massage which was $70 but since she thought I was not enjoying the massage said better do it for half an hr and charged me $50. What a rip off. Will never recommend this place.

I made a cold call to inquire about an appointment, graciously they had an opening and I arrived within the hour. I was met by Sofia and escorted back to a very relaxing treatment room. I must say that I received the best reflexology/deep tissue foot massage ever. Sofia had strong hands that reached all of my problem areas, relieving my pain and tight tendons in my feet. I have one more week left on my vacation and will be returning before I leave Jacksonville!

Love this walk in massage therapy place. Reasonable prices and nice staff. You can call ahead to see if they have any therapist available. They are very good at massage therapy not great at speaking English but I was still able to communicate where on my body I needed her to focus.

One star bc yes it was a last min ideA and was the only one who had availability so I tryed the lady out . She made me pay first which was fine. When she was giving me massage was hurting like she was going over bone and not muscle. And now the next day I’m hurting sore not a good sore and I’m extra tight. I understand that she trying To make money but there should be a littlemore tight on regulation to make sure they are licensed. Dont recommend, take your money and spend else where . 73$ dollar down drain

Woke up with such tense muscles that I could barely turn my neck. Oba was the only massage place that could take me in same day. I didn't get her name this time, but I definitely will next time because it was one of the BEST deep tissue massage I've ever gotten. Yes, there's a language barrier. But, she knows enough to ask if the pressure is okay and to increase it when its not enough. You won't get an authentic Ashiatsu massage (where they walk on your back) from someone with perfect English. She did an excellent job and I'll be back for sure.

I'm typically on my feet 60+ hours a week, and have been going to Oba for years, purely for the pleasure of a nice foot massage. Today I went to Oba because my left foot has been very sore these last few weeks, probably due to standing on an uneven surface for an extended period of time. A few folks have asked me "Why are you limping". Today, Sophia went to work on my foot, and I walked out pain free. Sophia did a great job in fixing my foot. Highly recommended!

Went in last week and as usual got an awesome pain-relieving massage to right rotator cuff. LMT was very polite, professional and accommodating. For the past couple of years, Oba always has been my go to place to get myself straightened out. Never disappoints!!!

"Professional" is a description and review within a single word. The staff both male and female are extremely well trained. My shoulder was stiff and very sore before my first visit and it was much relieved after. I have also had the foot massage and it was excellent. I recommend this place.

After trying over 10 different massage therapist this was by far the best in Jacksonville! Peter and the ladies are all so 💪 strong and use great techniques. I have gone every week for the past 6 months and they do t disappoint!

I am a loyal customer who started coming here because a friend suggested them and I've been back every week for over 1.5 years. I've read many comments about the place and the negative ones I feel are because of the language barrier between the staff and customers. If you went to a county where the people don't understand your language but still provide good services should you critique them on the language or the service? Anyhow I've had all the massage therapists and the are excellent and use the amount of pressure you want. I don't care that they don't speak my language if they can understand enough to give me the service I need!

Looking for a deep tissue massage and this is what I got! The masseuse asked how much pressure to apply and checked with several times to see if the pressure was too much. Granted, there is a language gap but I am very pleased with the overall massage and my back, neck and legs thank her too! Outstanding!!

JUST get a foot massage. I had the worst body massage of my life but the foot massage was nice. she pulled my hair and folded my ears in and pressed them (and they STILL hurt) and got on top of me and I thought my spine was going to break. I do NOT recommend body massage. Foot massage was good. Just want to make that note.

Massage was good it was just the place is a little run down but clean and needs some air conditioning circulation. Has a musty smell, I suggest they get some aroma therapy. She took me right away and was able to get my back massaged really good and she got the knots kneaded out from working at a computer everyday I had lactic acid buildup in my shoulder blades. Afterward she did my foot massage and it was nice. Don’t forget the Tip they will definitely remind you when you pay.
