Update: Keratin treatment by Hiro I got the Keratin treatment at Obachi about a month ago. When you hear keratin you hear pin straight hair and that’s one thing I did NOT want. I have naturally curly and frizzy hair and my usual routine is to blow dry and pray for the frizz to stay at a minimal while still maintaining my curls. This treatment is MAGIC! My hair is smooth and silky with zero frizz, and my curls are bouncy and light! And they stay that way until my next wash. Seriously all I do now is take a shower and let my hair air dry and it looks like I had a blow out at a salon! I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Hiro, you are amazing! She is incredible, meticulous, and understands what works best for her clients. She takes her time consulting and recommending the best options for your hair type. I tried the natural smoothing treatment for the first time and it made blow-drying easier, reduced humidity, and made it easier to maintain. It's a perfect treatment for the summer.

Hiromi takes her time consulting and recommending me the best options that would help me achieve what I wanted to do with my hair. Hiromi is a very talented hairstylist. I go to Obacchi salon for coloring every 2 months. She always suggests the best style for my hair and does a perfect job! Also I love that they use organic products since I have sensitive skin. I have never had any problems when she colors my hair. I strongly refer her!

I have known Hiro and Satsuki for over 10 years. They are really professional, very sweet, and they always care about what I want and provide recommendations that suit my hair and my style. I moved away from NYC for couple of years, but whenever I visited to the city, I always came to them. Even when my hair wasn't in the best condition (it's really difficult to find good hair stylist when you move to new places), they would always get my hair back into great shape. Now that I am back in the city, I'm really glad that I can come to them regularly and keep my hair looking and feeling fantastic. 10/10; highly recommend.

I have suffered for migraines for years and recently had a head massage from Satsuki at the tail end of what was a really bad migraine and it was so incredibly relaxing and truly took away the last bit of pain that was there. I have been seeing her for years for my hair cuts and highlights and she is always so warm, kind, caring, funny, and just an all around very good person. It’s so exciting to know she’s offering this service of stand alone head massage now. Would highly recommend. She’s magical. 💗

Hiro is the absolute best! The amount of care, effort and detail she puts into her work is truly unparalleled. I go to her for just a simple haircut: while many other hairdressers that I've been to would just rush through it, Hiro listened carefully to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. She has a keen eye and always knows exactly how to cut it to fit my face shape + hair type. She's also incredibly kind and has a great memory - she remembered me when I texted her out of the blue a full year after the first time we met, and has remembered how I liked it each time I've gone back! I don't live in the city anymore, but will happily make the trip in just for her expertise. :)

I have natural curl hair and it’s hard to deal with. I have been cutting my hair with Hiro for almost two years. I highly recommend to get a hair styling service with her. She does men's and women's hair. I started having her cut my hair when I was single. These days, she also cut my wife and boy's hair 😁.

My hair used to be damaged from bleaching and became extremely brittle and dry (from the photo on the right). After working with Hiromi on dying my hair black, I see significant changes in my hair quality in a long run! Hiromi understands how to achieve the looks you desire, by using organic products that treat your skin and hair in a gentle way. Her expertises in hair care and fine tastes wouldn't want me to work with other hair stylists.

Very welcoming atmosphere, good service with well trained technique. Head massage is also highly recommended for healthy thick hair back and relaxing with special blend aroma oil. Face lifting is side effect of head massage as well. They sell probiotic water spray blended with essential aroma oil so you can treat your scalp at home to extend effect from head massage.
