⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently took my daughter to Corasp Salon, and we had an amazing experience! Ms. April provided her with the best luxury treatment and a beautiful trim that exceeded our expectations. Not only was she incredibly skilled, but she also made my daughter feel special and pampered throughout the entire process. The atmosphere of the salon is welcoming and stylish, making it a perfect place for a relaxing day of self-care. We can’t wait to return for our next visit! Highly recommend!

UPDATE- 6 years later and I now drive from Orlando to Jax for all my hair services at Ocean Blu! New in town and was in search of a hair professional to partner with and I am over the moon to have found Corasp the Salon! Prior to my appointment, April (owner) was available, attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. April was prepared for my visit and provided 1 to 1 attention. April educates and empowers you to take control of your hair destiny! This salon is upscale, classy, and extremely professional! I enjoyed and appreciated the concierge service including mimosa and delicious snacks! April believes in the partnership that I was looking for and I am again - Over the moon!

Corasp The Salon (April) did an excellent job with my hair appt yesterday! My hair turned out beautiful and everything I could’ve asked for. I woke up feeling like a new woman!! April has been taking good care of me and my hair needs for many years now!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Hands down this is the best salon I’ve ever been to and trust me I’ve been to quite a few! The entire staff is efficient, professional and friendly and i always feel like a VIP customer when I walk through the doors! I don’t plan on going to any other salon while living in Jacksonville because there’s no need to search any further ! Your next appointment NEEDS to be at CORASP!!!

I got my hair washed and a layered hair cut.. Very high-end, I enjoyed a relaxing hair wash while sipping a mimosa. The hair stylist was very knowledgeable and helpful with some tips on taking care of my hair. My hair looked very healthy and taken care of afterwards As a college student, it was out my price range. For the hair wash and cut it was $190 but then they were able to lower it to $150. Due to not knowing the length and state of my hair when I set up the appointment. They weren’t able to give a price over the phone beforehand. This was my first time in years that I got a haircut. So I can’t compare the salon to others.

The BEST salon I’ve ever been to! I had a silk press, steam treatment, & layers done and miss April brought my hair back to LIFE. I was blown away by the customer service and how good my hair came out. I loved that she really took her time and explained everything she was doing and how to care for my hair. I’m so happy I found an amazing salon!!

When I first walked into the salon I was greeted with a fresh smile and offered a drink and a snack and was immediately made comfortable. I just moved to Jacksonville and I was really hesitant about allowing somebody to touch my hair but honey did an amazing job and I put my confidence in her And that something I did not regret she did a beautiful Job. They communicated with me thoroughly on my expectations and the results I was expecting and I am very very very happy and content and now she will never be able to get rid of me thank you honey in April for the good service and quality work.

I've had the worst experience here. April was so unprofessional and I hadn't even had my appointment yet. Who discusses a customer's employment out of nowhere? and the wrong profession, at that. We were having, what was supposed to be, a professional hair consultation. Why is my job even a topic of discussion?! Then, she proceeds to text me, under some crazy ASSUMPTION, that my mom will be buying my weave for me. Folks, I'm a grown, 32 year old WOMAN. Why in the world would she make such a comment towards a customer SHE HADN'T EVEN MET IN PERSON?! I could say more, but these comments are really what made me call her right back to cancel my appointment and ask for my money back. This is one of the saddest, most disrespectful experiences I've ever had with someone conducting business.

It was my first time going to a professional hair stylist in over 10 years (03/26). So, I took a chance on Corasp (I never knew there was a black/european hair salon in Mandarin). I decided to go with the Keratin Treatment. My stylist is Andria. Even though Andria is the most junior on their hair stylist team, she did an amazing job treating and styling my hair. It was absolutely beautiful! The staff/stylist there are extremely professional, kind, and helpful. NO WAIT FOR SERVICE! Your appointment is Your appointment time and no one else. There is no one sitting around "waiting" to get serviced. It's One client at a time, and I love that! Fast forward, I had to go back today (04/01) because my hair was resisting the treatment I'd gotten several days before (I didn't understand what I was doing wrong). Andria was happy to help to me resolve the issue, Jamee and April helped too! April (Owner) gave me directions on maintaining my beautiful locks step by step. Including how to flat iron, flexi rod, and pin curl my hair, and what products to use and NOT to use! What an Awesome Team this establishment is in Mandarin, and I will confidently recommend anyone for any hair service to Corasp! Photos to follow....... ~Veronica

My first experience was phenomenal. April gave such a warm welcome. And Jamee followed with a warm welcome as well. I just relocated to Jax and was nervous about finding a loctician that specifically does interlocking method retwist. Jamee was great, took her time, and was so hospitable throughout. So grateful for the referral from my friend. Highly recommend, and look forward to returning. :)

This review has been a long time coming, but better late than never. I saw April for my first appointment at Corasp The Salon. It was the best experience I've had at a beauty salon in my life. I walked in and was immediately greeted with April's warm smile and welcoming personality. I did a big chop that day, cutting off more than 5-6 inches off of my hair for the first time in a long time. It made me feel good that April was supportive of my decision! I've been to other salons in the past where the stylist usually says something like "you're going to cut all that beautiful hair off?!". As a mom of two toddlers, it became unmanageable. April cut it and treated it with a steam treatment (amongst other treatments), cut it just the way I wanted, and had me walking out of her salon like a new woman! She got me in and out- that was definitely the quickest and most enjoyable experience ever. Loved that she offered wine, coffee, and snacks. One of my favorite parts of her salon was her music selection! I truly had a day of relaxation!

Guys! This was the best salon experience I have ever had! My daughter has super thick and curly hair, and I needed a blowout and silk press done because I just didn't have the 5 and half hours in me to do it myself...I called Corasp on Friday afternoon , made an appointment for Saturday morning and was in and out before 9am! Are you kidding me! I will add before and after photos of my daughter but tawl! I will bever! Go anywhere else! I'm about to make an appointment for myself now...yes ma'am, please go and tell them Veronica Goode sent you!

I do my own natural hair at home so I was very nervous about going to a salon to get a silk press. However, April was amazing! She put me at ease right away. She explained everything she was doing and why. She also taught me how to do my own hair at home, took videos that I could rewatch at home and showed me the products she was using for me to purchase. She did an amazing job on my hair. I would recommend this salon to anyone!

I had a silk press done & a trim it was awful the hair stylist severely heat damage my hair. the owner called me & apologized for the service & asked me do I want to come back & have her retrain the stylist. (who does that?)

I had been to other places in the surrounding area, and walked out extremely UNSATISFIED! Once I spoke with Jamie, I absolutely knew right then and there that I found my salon home!! They’re clean, professional, personable, hospitable, and the list goes on. I walked out feeling completely satisfied with the entire experience! Thank you ladies! I will definitely be coming back!!!

I have been going to Corasp for years and have had silk presses, braid styles, clip in extensions and sew in extensions. I have also had my makeup done here. Service is always amazing and I always leave feeling like a new woman. Posting my Most recent braids with Desiree and pictures from various styles from April through the years. Jamee and April are also great stylists. My daughter also loves to get her braids and silk presses at Corasp. Service is always done on time in a timely manner, which is very important to me. I don’t get to go in salon as much as I like but we get in 2 or 3 times a year and always look forward to scheduling our next visit for birthdays and holidays.

I'm glad I found Corasp. I live on the Northside but it is definitely worth the drive. April is very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching you to care for your hair. And the mimosas are a plus!
