Cindy is amazing, and the best in the neighborhood! She is very kind and understanding, and works with you to figure out what's best for your hair. She helped give me styling techniques so that I can make my hair look just as good at home as she did it in the salon! Thank you Cindy :)

Edit: (one week later) All it took was a haircut and now I love both my hair and color. Highly recommend Allen for short hair. I love my haircut from this place and don't think my color was bad in quality persay, but I'm not sure what all the other reviews are talking about when they say the prices aren't too bad. Haircut price is great. Cindy was sweet and all, but she seemed to not know my style at all. I came in wanting my low lights enhanced but walked out with a lot more of my head highlighted. I would have preferred getting what I'd asked for rather than something else because it was the style she preferred. Shame on me for not knowing the difference and getting upselled. Again great job on my highlights but it wasn't "me" and I didn't expect to be charged that much for the color job. I can't help but think I was overcharged. Think I'll stick to haircuts here instead.

Loved my haircut with Allen! Excellent friendly neighborhood salon. I have very long hair and he did great layers and freshened it up.

They don't honor the reservation. I specifically whether I will be waiting. And they still let me wait for more than 30min when I show up on time.

Finally writing a review for this place. Been going here for forever for a haircut, and I never walked away feeling disappointed. I always get my haircut by the lady, I never got her name but I think there's only one lady who works here. She's great; she listens to what you want (bring a pic, or make sure you tell her what exactly you want) and will also give you advice on how to maintain your hair. Can't go wrong with this place for a haircut.

This is my new place. They are OPEN for business!!! You have to try them out. They are experts. 5+ Stars is what l give. Someone ruined my hair and very unprofessional. l was referred to Ocean Hair Design by a friend-cousin. WOW, Cindy gave her all and gave me the hairdo l wanted. l reluctantly said yes for the scissors so she could fix what the other person did to me. She amazingly made my hair look longer. She made my hair beautiful. l also saw Alex the other stylist give a girl with very long hair the cutest long hair cut l ever saw. Not sure what else they do besides hair.

Cindy is amazing and it's the second time that I go to her for Korean iron perm and you can definitely see that she takes her time to make sure her client's hair is nice and that her client is leaving the hair salon happy!! Highly recommended
