I am a relatively new client of Odyssey. All of my visits, whether for a simple blowout or 'cut and color', have been exemplary. Joey is a super talented master stylist and the staff are warm and sincere and happy. The environment is inviting, spacious with big windows inviting in natural light. A huge thank you to Odyssey Hair Studio for an amazing haircut experience! This is my first time having my haircut outside of family and I was nervous about it! But the whole entire process from start to finish was fabulous. The entire staff are actual real friends in real life, and it shows. The salon is ginormous, very rare for Center City. And I felt very well taken care of the moment I walked in the door. Annelise washed my hair and Tim did an amazing cut and blow dry! I highly recommend Tim, especially if you want layers! 1000% will be back

I came here to get a trim basically and left with more cut than I originally asked for. I also called on the phone that I would not like to receive a curly cut and I feel like that is what I got. I also asked during the service if the hair studio did braids (I am a Black and White woman) to which my stylist replied ‘well we do French braids but not like box braids or anything like that.’ That comment did not sit right with me and seemed fairly stereotypical to suggest that I would ask for that specific braiding service…

I have been going to Joey for almost 2 years now and cannot recommend him highly enough. He was recommended to me by my stylist in Virginia when I moved to Philadelphia and every haircut is always a fun time with his bright and approachable attitude to working with clients. Despite my vague requests when discussing my style he always manages to figure out exactly what I have visualized for myself.

Michael is the best stylist! After Michael did my hair, I got so many compliments and I have never loved my hair more. He knows a lot about hair and gave me so many amazing suggestions on what would look best on me and about products I should try out. I will never go to anyone different after getting my hair done by Michael, I highly recommend him if you are looking for a new stylist!!

Odyssey Hair Studio has an amazing stylist! I go to Michael to get my hair cut and he always makes me feel beautiful leaving his chair! I live decently far away, yet I love Michael’s style, technique, and knowledge enough to wait til I can come visit to get my hair done. I recommend Michael if you are looking for someone to listen to what you want, work based off your features, and give you the results you’ll love!

Odyssey is a dope hair salon with that is easy to get to via train or parking as they have a deal with the nearest parking garage. You’ll never go wrong with Michael! Not only can he capture your vision/style but he also brings productive tips and ideas to the table that can help make your style effortless. It can also be hard to find someone to shape and style a beard as good as he can.

A hair studio is not a place I would normally rate but my wife and I were walking by while in the city and on a whim she decided to stop in to get her hair dyed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were able to take her right away. They were thorough and attentive. She was very happy with the final product. We would certainly recommend this place!

I have been seeing Joey for many years for my hair and he is the absolute best. He truly cares about his clients and takes his time to make sure you wind up with exactly what you are looking for while offering his thoughtful recommendations. I always feel great leaving my appointments with him! The whole staff at Odyssey are lovely and so friendly, and always make you feel right at home. This is my favorite salon in Philly. I followed my stylist here (Joey G) and now I've been going here for years. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and they are great with booking online or over the phone. Conveniently located right in the Gayborhood, I'll usually stop at other shops in the area when I come get my hair cut. They have such knowledgeable stylists and they do such great work with color and curls (see my last cut and color in the pic attached). Highly recommend!

I went to a level 1 stylist here and got a fairly simple haircut (trim, long layers, face framing) and was really unhappy with it. I thought I was being dramatic but I ended up going to another place and they agreed that it was a very bad cut. Even though I know I opted for level 1, the price I paid did not remotely reflect the quality of the haircut I received, especially since I had to turn around and get it recut

I’ve been a client of Odyssey since 2017 and I highly recommend their services. Mollie is incredible! Technical and professional. She always listens and makes my hair look fabulous. Recently I had wanted to try a pop of fantasy color but didn’t want to dye. Mollie used extensions to create the blue hair magic of my dreams! Jessica (front desk) is lovely and always creates a welcoming environment. Big hat tip to owner Alexis as well- you’ve got an amazing business and team!

Lexi and the team were wonderful! My color and cut came out as desired after having a previous awful cut. I appreciated Lexi intuitively understanding what I was looking for without having to over explain. She helped me understand what was needed to get my hair where I want it to be.
