Getting my hair done by DaShell was the best thing I’ve done for my curls. She gave my curls new life. I’ve always struggled to figure out what works for my hair. She taught me how to style my curls for my personal routines and she explained everything she was doing. Now my curls are defined, bouncy, and healthier than ever—the difference in my hair is incredible. If you’ve been searching for someone who truly gets curls and truly cares, go see her. She’s amazing.

I had a fantastic experience with DaShell. She was very attentive, friendly, and listened to all of my questions and concerns. She answered any of my questions and talked me through each step of the styling process so that I could replicate it at home. She even gave me product recommendations. Not only am I extremely happy with my haircut, but I also feel like I learned so much about my own hair. I'd recommend ANYONE with curls to go see her. The cost is 100% worth it.

Came for the haircut, stayed for the personalized hair care tutorial. DaShell listened attentively to my current hair routine, what I like about my curls, what I wish was better, how much time/effort I’m willing to put into styling and then showed me what my curls really had to offer. Best cut I’ve had and I feel more equipped than ever to repeat the awesome “after” I walked out with.

Stop. Look no further. This is the place. I'm serious just get on the waitlist. DaShell is going to take care of you and do her best to give you exactly what you are looking for. She makes you feel like you're in her home because, well, you are. She gives you all the info you need to make sure your hair looks as fabulous as it did in her salon. My hair has NEVER looked this good. It is my curly hair dreams she made reality and now I have friends and family saying I'm their curly hair goals. She deserves all the praise. Definitely will be coming back forever.

They like to EDIT their reviews! So I’ll post my Yelp review here since they removed it. 😊 First of all, someone's Cellphone is listed as the business phone. It's a place of business. . so I don't understand the reasoning behind that. Also, whoever's cellphone it is - is Always busy apparently. There's some vague unprofessional voicemail greeting telling you that she's completely booked for new clients and directs you to 2-3 different places just to get on her "Waitlist." If you're going to give your Insta handle you should SPELL IT OUT. Not everyone knows you or how to spell your name lady. Kind of like oh idk NEW clients. They don't even have their own website. Really? As a business Owner you can't even get a domain name for a website?Or at least a place to make appointments. What a JOKE of a business. Go to THE PARLOR instead. They actually answer your phone calls on a BUSINESS LAND LINE and they're super friendly. They have qualified specialists with years of training. Fantastic place! Oh! And they actually have a website and a direct link to make appointments.

Dashell has a magical way to make your curls feel loved. She is extremely knowledgeable about how to enhance any set of curls. Please take her advice on products and how often to see her. I was stubborn for a year and I felt really bad about my hair. Now, I go more often and use the recommended hair products and I've never been so happy with my hair. Each time she kills it. Also, she is pretty busy, so try to book sooner rather than later! Thanks Dashell. Hopefully see you soon.

Dashell has helped me through my transition to my natural hair texture! My first time going to her was like textured hair 101. She helped give me the knowledge and tips necessary for my texture. I have wavy coarse hair and it was difficult to find tips out on the internet as a newbie. Especially at the time I was dealing with chemical damage as well. I have gone to her about 3 times now and as my hair gets healthier the combination of products change and she has been there to steer me in the right direction. I'll bounce off to her what's been working, and what doesn't work for me even though it may be a highly recommended by others. Along with her knowledge she is super chill and easy to talk to. I'm so happy to have a curl specialist in town!

Go. See. DaShell. I found DaShell after I had found the DevaCut (but didn't have a great experience). After reading up more on the DevaCut, I was committed to seeing it through and finding a better stylist. WHAM. Insert DaShell. DaShell spends TONS of time with you and learns what you like and/or don't like about your hair. From there, she educates you on your hair type, face shape, and other key elements that go into a successful haircut. She has taught me to not only embrace my curls but my grays, too! I was dying my hair way too often to hide them and only causing more damage to my curls. We worked a great balance with color (as I am not quite ready to give up my blonde highlights yet), and we have a clear path forward. I have seen her four times now, and I look forward to every visit. DaShell is not only a very gifted artist, but she is an amazing person. I enjoy my chats with her and look forward to our appointments. She's developed an exceptional business and as a result, is very busy. Be patient! She's worth it! Thanks DaShell for changing my curly hair life! :) :) :)

Dashell is amazing! I learned so much about my curls in one session. My hair was horribly fried from a previous stylist that really didn't know what they were doing. I thought I would never see my curls again because they had become this big, disgusting mess. Now I get compliments on my curls almost every day! Thanks Dashell and I'll definitely be back to see you for follow ups.
