Lauren is fantastic, she did an amazing job with my hair! She was so kind and just made it such a wonderful experience for me. The atmosphere is very relaxing, everyone seems very friendly, and the coffee was a nice touch! Thanks for taking care of me on my birthday!

Caution ⚠️ If you come here, you will receive daily compliments on your hair 💁🏼‍♀️ So glad I found Olive and Ivy on Instagram! I've been seeing Emily and I've never been happier with my hair. Had been going for a while for blonding only but currently, I have the prettiest rainbow hair in the world 😍🌈 The salon is so cute. All the plants. Good music. Good vibes. And all of the stylists are so sweet and welcoming. The stylists are always pumping each other [and the clients] up. Can't tell you how many times a different stylist has complimented my hair before my appointment is even over 😆 The salon is LGBTQ and fat-friendly. If nothing else, follow them on social media, you won't regret it! I can't say enough good things about Olive and Ivy. Ps. Sometimes they have dogs at the salon. Heaven.

I went to Olive and Ivy for the first time today and saw Kenzie for a cut and couldn’t be happier. I moved to Cincinnati a few years ago and have been to multiple stylists but have never found one I loved. Kenzie listened to exactly what I was looking to achieve with my cut and executed perfectly. She was super sweet throughout the process and the environment in the salon was beautiful. I’ve already booked with her again and am so happy I finally found someone I can trust with my hair.

Had a great experience with Emily as my stylist. I came in with grown out roots and super damaged mid/ends from bleach in my hair over quarantine. We were able to even everything out with highlights and lowlights and saved my length. So happy with my experience and the salon has such a great vibe.

Honestly these guys listen so well and totally revived my damaged hair. They will also not let you make dumb hair decisions and give good alternatives when you can’t get exactly what you want. Super professional and a great atmosphere.

I don’t know where to start but I am so extremely happy with Olive & Ivy and with my hair. Not only is the atmosphere positive and fun, Emily (and everyone really) was very welcoming! Emily took time to sit with me at a consult and again on my appointment day to be sure we were on the same page with what I wanted. Leaving a salon I went to for 4ish years was scary but well worth it. Many places can do hair well and they did, but the main reason i needed to change salons was due to environment, mean girl energy. I felt so comfortable and like I fit in at Olive and Ivy, there is no question that I’ll be back in! Thank you to the entire team and especially Emily for helping calm my nerves and get my hair ready for fall!

I love coming to Olive and Ivy - it is my retreat. This space is GORGEOUS, welcoming to all people and every stylist is amazing! Summer kills it everytime and I have yet to leave disappointed.

I visited Olive and Ivy for the first time this week and couldn’t have been happier. I was lucky enough to be able to snag a last minute appointment with Brenna after many months of admiring her work. After asking me about my hair goals, Brenna took the time to discuss her plans and ensured I had no questions. The end result was amazing-Brenna is insanely talented and I am so excited to return to the salon.

It SUCKS to be leaving such a negative review but I’ve reached out to both the stylist and owner to tell them my issues…no response. So here I am. Went in to get my roots touched up blonde and the stylist made some big mistakes (bleach “bled” through the foils, creating a striped effect). She tried to cover the mistake with a dark toner and it just wasn’t the color I wanted at all— it was very dark, very ashy. I told her it was too dark and she told me that shampooing twice would help….it didn’t. When I reached out again, she just ignored me after a while. I think this salon is really great otherwise, just a bad experience. Fortunately, I had my hair fixed elsewhere :)

So glad I found this hidden gem in Madisonville! The staff is so nice and welcome (not uppity at all). My stylist Hanna did a wonderful job. I was very nervous about getting curtain bangs but wanted to try them. She spent a ton of time with me talking me through options. Such a sweet person as well. I found my new hair salon for sure!
