I took my son to Oliver Rose Salon and Alba gave him an amazing cut! She listened to what we wanted but also made great suggestions. And the salon itself is a great space, very stylish but comfortable. The whole experience was A+!

UPDATE AT BOTTOM*** I was recommended Oliver Rose Salon by a fellow USC student. Originally, I scheduled a hair coloring appointment but, to be honestly, I really had no idea what I really wanted. Alba's warm and friendly personality made me immediately trust and feel comfortable with her. She was patient with my indecisive self and helped me figure out what cut, color and style I wanted to do. Then, as we were waiting for the dye to set into my hair, we had a really awesome conversation about local restaurants, our families and million other things. I was going for a very subtle look and I love what we figured out together in the end. Im so glad my friend recommend this salon to me and I am definitely telling everyone about where I got my hair done. Update: Alba is great for more typical procedures, but if you want more specialized treatment (like going from dark as I was to light) maybe go to another salon.

Alba saved my hair! I had a botched dye job at another salon that absolutely fried my hair. I looked like I head-butted an oompa loompa. I sent her the photos and she immediately called me to discuss what I wanted and needed, and then found a day where she could spend 4 hours just on my hair- she even went and bought special supplies to color correct me. Alba did such an amazing job of balancing out that awful neon orange while also not taking it too far and further damaging it. I cannot believe how good it looks now, and honestly the new cut is so much sexier than the one I had asked for. Her price was so so reasonable, especially given how tricky the process was. And I couldn't agree more with the other posts- Alba is such a lovely person. Brave, caring, and possessing an excellent intuition for what her clients need. She's made a life-long client out of me- I'll be flying back to LA just to get my hair done by her.

I now understand the value of having just one hairstylist. Alba understands my hair type and always takes her time! She is knowledgeable, professional and offers great hair care advice. Highly recommend Alba if you’re looking for someone who really knows their craft and provides great customer service!

It’s been a couple of months since I have started coming to OliverRose Salon. It took me a while to find someone that I can trust. I have long, thick hair that I heat style often, so of course I get split damaged hair; without fail stylists always find a way to cut more than what I ask for. Alba isn’t like that. She listens to what you want, gives you realistic expectations and advice, and works with you to give you what you want. I always leave satisfied and proud to show off my hair. We even got it to the perfect red/brown color I have always wanted. It’s honestly so pretty. Now the compliments don’t stop. Every time people see me they stop to ask where I got my hair done. Alba really does an amazing job and loves what she does and it shows. I’ll keep coming back until I start growing gray hair lol (& even then she’ll help me hide them haha)

Your go to place if you have curly hair. Although, I don’t like to share gems because great hair stylists are hard to come by, you must go see Alba if your curly locks need a professional! I hadn’t had bangs in a long time and have curly hair, so I was nervous! But she gave me the best hair style and now I don’t know why I waited so long to get bangs again! Overall, 10/10 experience.

Alba is a master hair stylist! Everything is perfect when you take a step into her Salon, super clean super attentive! You will have the best experience. I decided to go blond and alba knew exactly what was going to look good on me! It was a process but she is definitely a professional, she explained everything in great detail and gave me her recommendations before anything was started. So so happy with how it turned out and now only alba can do my hair!

Contacted Alba about an appointment and she responded very quickly. Went in for my appointment a couple days later, she was so nice and welcoming. The salon was nice and clean. I sent her photos of what I wanted before hand and she did such an amazing job, gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. Loved how attentive she was always making sure I was comfortable during the appointment. Her assistant was also very nice and welcoming, gave me the best hair wash. Felt so relaxing, like I was at a spa. Definitely recommend coming here!

I'm so glad I found Oliver Rose Salon. As someone with curly hair, it's often a challenge to find a stylist who knows how to work with it, but they have curly hair specialists who are amazing. I am so grateful to Alba! Her studio is warm and inviting, and she took time with me to figure out what I wanted. She is truly knowledgeable and trained. She made me feel comfortable at all times, and the conversations we had I really enjoyed. I highly recommend Oliver Rose Salon and Alba she'll take care of you, and you won't be disappointed.

I scheduled two consultations at the salon to ensure clarity on the simple trim I wanted—just to snip split ends without losing length from my long, curly hair. Despite extensive discussions and reassurances, Alba significantly shortened my hair to shoulder length, a dramatic change from what was agreed. Surprised and disappointed, especially after being charged above the listed prices, the stylist’s attempt to laugh off my dismay was as misjudged as the cut. Im only giving two stars so its not considered spam and for turning what should have been a straightforward trim into a hair-raising ordeal. Do not recommend! Poor experience with cutting curls.

My search is finally over. Oliver Rose Salon and the amazing stylist Alba worked miracles on my curly hair. The salon is simply beautiful and relaxing. Alba' professionalism and eye for color is unmatched. My hair is the healthiest it's been in many, many years. Alba listen to all my hair needs and gave me the perfect color and style for my busy mom/work lifestyle.

Originally just made an appointment for a haircut with Alba was extremely pleased with the results that I came back for coloring a couple of weeks later. She is truly knowledgeable and trained in what she does. She listened and payed attention to what I wanted and the end results were better than I could have imagined. She made me feel comfortable at all times and the conversations we had I really enjoyed mostly because of all the commonalities we have. Been going to Alba since I came to USC--nothing but awesome things to say. She's great company, the salon is clean and well designed, and her haircuts are as good or better than everywhere else I've been--for HALF THE PRICE!! If you're a USC student, this is the obvious go to. If you're anyone else, still pay Alba a visit and you won't regret it.

Alba is amazing! She really pays attention to detail and takes her time with the cut. I enjoy chatting while getting shampoo and cut. This is my second time back and I think I found my stylist :) Next time I will try color, but so far my experiences have been wonderful!
