Relaxing environment, great massage. I got a deep tissue massage. It was very tailored to my personal needs. Masseuse was very knowledgeable about human muscles. Tips for first timers ~ it is located in the Olympic gym on the second floor. Go upstairs to the right after you enter the gym. They give parking permits for the day for the parking lots nearby. I parked at the Ballard hotel parking lot. Talk to the front desk and they will give you a permit 🙂

This was my first time trying this spa. Based on the photos and price point I expected it to be comparable to other hotel-based spas. Unfortunately it was not. For the price, there were really no amenities. You go straight to the treatment room from the small lobby. I don’t know about other rooms, but the room I was in had the loudest, squeakiest vent. You couldn’t even hear the music over it. Not ideal when you’re going to get a relaxing massage. I was also surprised that during the massage portion when you’re on your back they don’t put an eye mask or towel over your eyes. Even with my eyes shut the lights in the room were pretty bright. The massage oil also was not warmed up so it was a cold shock every time. The worst part was how chatty my massage therapist was. I even put on my intake the lowest amount of talking preferred. She talked for a large portion at the beginning and at the end. It wasn’t pertinent to the massage either. She was telling me about her dogs and then asked me if I had kids. I said not yet and she was like how old are you? Then proceeded to talk about how my generation is waiting so much later to have kids. This felt inappropriate for a massage. The massage itself was pretty good. It was definitely more of a sports massage and less of a relaxing kind, but that was ok. I just wish the other aspects of the experience had fostered the traditional, relaxing spa atmosphere.

Sophie was incredible! She solved my skin irregularities and recommended a product that has worked wonders for my texture, something I've worked YEARS to remedy with various treatments. I'm so grateful! 10/10 recommend Sophie and Olympic Spa.

I've had multiple services at this spa and have walked away so happy each time. Sophie is amazing. I recently saw her for waxing services, which were gentle and effective and also for an eyebrow tint. I went from "invisi-brows" to thick brown brows. I love them! And I saw Yen for a pedicure and was so impressed with the cleanliness of the whole pedicure/manicure area and the precision in her technique. Amazing work on all fronts! Highly recommend!

Lisa was absolutely incredible! I had an extremely painful crick in my neck and she really took the time to therapeutically massage the area and it really aided in my recovery.

I had high expectations of the place given the good reviews and nice ambience inside. However, my service itself was not great. My masseuse (older lady) kept lecturing me on how I should take better care of my body to avoid such tight muscles in my shoulders/neck etc, which at first was a bit helpful since she was suggesting some exercises to better my posture/strengthen my muscles etc. However, she kept going on and on, and it got to feel like she was berating me for first 20 minutes of my massage. When I told her I had a toddler, she laughed and asked if I carried him, which I mean, he is my son so of course I carry him, and she told me it was not good for my back, and if my 2 year old son "liked to please Mommy", he should walk more. Why is my $120 massage suddenly becoming a mom-shaming session?! I'd had enough by that point and asked her to please ease up on the lecturing because all I wanted was a relaxing massage. She got a bit flustered and apologized and stopped talking - thankfully - but then proceeded to give me one of the worst massages I've ever had. There was no pressure at all, despite me asking her to increase pressure. It felt like someone was just rubbing gently on my back, which I could do myself. I've had better massages from my massage pillow from Amazon! I wish I had gotten her name and said more during my check-out... but I didn't want to get any more heated up than I was feeling, and complaining won't really make the bad massage I just had any less bad. Anyway, decided to write a review in hopes of some change in that masseuse's behavior and also maybe better training...

I got a hydrofacial treatment and absolutely loved it!! I could not recommend a better place to relax and unwind than this. The location is great and the inside is beautiful. They did a great job of walking me through the process and made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. Will definitely book another soon. The staff was also great and they also have a big selection of high end skincare that's priced way more reasonably than other spas i've been to. Definitely check this place out, you won't be disappointed.

Who knew this gem of a spa was located in the heart of Ballard? Parking is easy (The Olympic Hotel parking), the staff was so nice, and the hydrofacial was amazing! My skin looked great for weeks and the products I purchased have really made a difference in my skin. Time to book another treatment!

I LOVE this spa! A massage from Karen is a must, she’s been practicing for years and it absolutely shows. I also recommend the oxygen facial- my skin is noticeably more hydrated. Friendly staff and peaceful environment tucked away from the athletic club😌 10/10

I recently had a facial at Olympic Spa. It was a wonderful experience. The space is beautiful and easy to find. Everyone who works at Olympic Spa is very kind and welcoming. It was my first facial and I'll definitely be back for more. It was a relaxing experience and my skin looked amazing afterward. My friend received a manicure at the same time and loved it. I highly recommend Olympic Spa and can't wait to go back!

I've received such good care from the Olympic spa staff. I feel pampered from the moment I arrive until departure. The deep tissue and Myofascial massages are excellent as well as their hydrafacial services. I'm excited to try their mani/pedi services next!

went for a spa day with my family and i got a lash lift. the practitioner gently explained the process of the treatment step by step. at the end my lashes looked fuller, darker, and longer!! the atmosphere of the spa and kindness from the staff is top notch!! will definitely be returning for a massage and facial!

Had the loveliest afternoon along historic Ballard Ave after manicures at Olympic spa. Such a luxurious but relaxed vibe and wonderful staff. Had to leave with some Eminence products they smell and feel sooo good. Ha sold me on the hydro facial which sounds so amazing- I’ll be back:)

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit at the Olympic Spa! From the moment I walked in, the staff were helpful and friendly. The ambiance was relaxing, quiet and had upscale products and touches- such as quality teas in the waiting room. My esthetician, Chanel, was knowledgable and gave me the best facial I've ever had. I was overall so impressed by my experience and I would definitely recommend!

I've been to this spa three times and every time I've had a great experience. The spa is small but they make good use of the space. It's on the upper level of the hotel (don't have to be a guest). The only cons I have is I wish the massage therapist were more consistent. My first therapist was perfect. I also wish there were more promotions on massages or skin services. Unfortunately, most are for nail services.

This place is the real deal. Had a fantastic Signature Massage from Jessica and a great Signature Facial from Chanel. They're very skilled, professional, and use high-quality products. Highly recommend.
