AMAZING! Kim got me in day-of when I was panicking about a bad haircut I got the day before (at another place). She called in Kenneth, who came in just for me to fix my choppy layering. They were both so kind and I left feeling like a million bucks. Cannot thank them both enough. So excited to wear my new hair around confidently.

December 2021: I will not be going back. I went for blow out. I told her I wanted some curl to last me the week (obviously relaxes over time and I expected that). She used so little hair holding product that I had to redo the entire thing by the end of the night. Next time I will be assertive that I need more product so it will hold. Very friendly. Cute ambience. My hair turned out great for that first day.

I saw Shane today for a revitalizing Me day and SHE DELIVERED! She turned my sad mop into a work of art, all while showing love and sharing some jokes together. The vibe of the salon is so amazing… you are made to feel at home and that you matter. And Shane’s shampoo skills… 20/10! I’m definitely a fan of Shane AND the salon… do not sleep on this place.

Beyond the best salon I have chosen to get my hair cut. I am very picky like most I'm sure I get high anxiety just by the thought of getting a hair cut simply because I want it perfect. I see Shane Doucet at One 17 and she is truly an artist! I don’t even pick or walk in with an idea any longer, she comes up with the colors and ideas every time I come in, I come in 6-7 weeks. Really should be 0. My appt was for 1.30 pm. I showed up at 1.28pm Thurs. I was asked to step out fir 15 min. No big deal. came back in 20min told to step out for 15 min more. I asked for an appt for next day. They said they had none. So I went down the street and booked with a different salon that wanted my money

When picking a Hair studios you want to enjoy the experience and I highly recommend “One 17 Hair Studio” as a Walk-in I was treat with the up most respect a few minutes wait time nothing big as I continue to see this place on Social Media every where, I was willing to give it a try. i’ve been coming here to be serviced by Miranda for more than 2 years! she has always taken care of me and my hair. i’ve gone from long black virgin hair, to blonde, blue, orange, yellow, and grey to a short A-line with a balayage dye (most currently). i always recommend this lovely lady to anyone who’s looking for fun fashion colors! just remember that if you want fun colors, it takes time to get there so PLEASE be patient, it’s worth the wait (and less damage to your hair overall).
