Been going to One Twenty for 5 years! Amazing mens haircuts, transparent pricing, and fantastic customer experience. I could not recommend this place enough.

Their website quotes men’s and women's haircuts at $70+. I took time off work and arrived at the appointment to be told my haircut would be $130 for a normal woman's haircut. I understand it being a little more but almost double the online price is manipulative. Since I had to take time off work i tried to see if she didn't blow dry it or didn't wash it if i could get a lower price, but the owner was firm and wouldn't work with me. Huge waste of time and deeply sad i took time off work. Terrible misrepresentation of their prices and bad customer service.

I walked in needing a haircut & beard trim before taking a company picture. Edith squeezed me in before her first appointment of the morning. She was kind, funny, and took her time. The result looked great. The price is reasonable for the city, and given their great attitude and kind demeanor, it’s more than worth it. Also, their shop dog Runa is incredibly sweet, and between her naps will stop by the chair to be pet. The shop is very clean as well. I highly recommend going here if you want a good cut with friendly service.

Just a visitor in town. Boy did I luck out that One Twenty was the nearest salon. I asked for a deep condition and blow dry. You’d never guess my hair is naturally thick, corse, frizzy, and crazy curly—seriously curly. As I left the hotel, the valet ventured, “May I say that you look like a million bucks!” I said, “On my way to the One Twenty salon. When I get back, I hope to look like a billion!” Well, I certainly feel it!

My husband will get his haircut only at this place. Both hairstylists here have great skills and care for their customers. Call them if you can’t find an appointment online and they will help you out.

Edith did a wonderful job on my straight, thin, fine hair! The color and highlights look great and added lots of body. Her hair cutting is excellent. It is a good, honest, clean salon run by a very nice couple. She was very clear about disclosing pricing after we decided what to do, which I really appreciated.

Edith helped me prep and cut 14 inches of my hair for donation. She did a great job evening my hair out after such a dramatic cut and was so sweet and kind the entire time. I appreciated that Edith was upfront about the cost before starting. The salon is very clean and cozy, and Luna the dog is so cute.

Edith was very kind and helpful during my haircut at this Aveda salon. Business has slowed down since the pandemic so I would encourage the (SOMA/Rincon Hill/South Beach) neighborhood residents to support this family business. They also have a $40 kids cut.

Horst Rechelbacher would be ashemed to have these two frauds representing his business. Extremely rude and belligerent owners. Avoid at all costs. I was refused service because I was clearly not in their preferred class. First the man rudely said, we charge $60 for a haircut, as if that would deter me, and then a woman rushed out and said she just remebered they were fully booked when the place was completely empty. After getting a great haircut from the friendly staff at Hairshaper, one block away, I walked back past the shop, and it was still empty. Haha. I have never been treated so rudely.

I use to go to this salon about 20 years ago and Edith was my hair dresser for many years. She’s real good at what she does and Marcos too. I moved away and I was still driving to her salon to get my hair done by her. They are both real sweet people. One of the best salons I ever went to.

Very happy with my hair! Cute salon, sweet couple own the salon, very friendly and did a great job with my har. I've never found a stylist that actually understands thin, curly hair, and now I have! Took a great deal of time thoroughly drying, flat-ironing my fly-aways, I left the salon feeling very styled. I typically have to go home and 'fix' my hair, not this time. She really listened and understood my hair and my style and what I wanted. So happy, will be back.

Very happy with my hair. I walked in with brassy and damaged hair. Edith understood my needs quickly and was able to color my hair exactly the way I wanted. The pricing is very fair, they have adorable dogs in the salon and its a family owned business - i will go back again for sure!

I went in for haircut and my fiance came with me to explain what she and I wanted, which was a light trim. My hair had been growing for 6 months and she liked it long. Marco ignored her wishes and as soon as I saw him cut off 3 inches I knew it was too late. He gave me a business cut awfully close to a bowl cut. Now I have to wait several months for it to be long enough for her to pull.😄 Marco completely ignored our wishes and cut it the way he wanted.

Really horrible experience. Went to get a trim and partial highlights. The website gave me a reasonable price and, yes it says +, but that’s usually for if you have really long hair or something (I have shoulder length, super fine hair). I sit down with Edith all excited and she tells me she charges “$20 per highlight.” I have literally never heard of anyone charging per highlight… so then I ask how much would that be for my hair. Edith’s response for less than half my hair would be 19 highlights… so over $300!!! I left. I’m super disappointed. Would not recommend because 1) They don’t seem experienced. I have never heard of a professional refer to a single highlight 2) The online prices are not accurate at all

Very nice couple run the store with a nice Latin Peruvian flavor in the music and decor. Had great conversation while getting my hair done. Asked me what I wanted, have them some very open options to style my hair and I’m very happy with how it came out. Would recommend to friends looking to get a haircut in downtown

Nice little mom and pop store in the financial district. Good haircut for reasonable price. Like the fact that they are very particular about cleaning and hygiene specially during covid, I noticed them cleaning the tools after every single use.
