This was my first time at Onion Creek Nails & Spa and it will be the only nail salon that I will go to from now on. Justin SAVED my acrylic set (from a different salon up north) that was not correctly placed based on my short/small nail type. I found Onion Creek Nails when a couple of those acrylics started falling off. Mind you this was only 5 days after getting them done at another salon. I called to see if they had any availability for a walk in, since the were closing in 1.5 hours and they gladly squeezed me in! I was checked in and sat as soon as I got there. Justin was finishing up with a previous customer and immediately assessed my nails/situation right after. I wanted to do the set all over from scratch, but he was able to fix my previous acrylic set and made them look SOOO MUCH better!! Not to mention that he took his time, despite it being 30 min passed their closing time.

I love coming here. I always feel welcomed at the prices are decent compared to other places. I had told Justin due to my job, my nails break fast. Justin recommended for me to try gelX and my nails have been strong and look like I just got them done. Definitely recommend for others to try GelX.

Love this place! Always do such a good job and have great customer service. I always get get X manicures and pedicures. Most bad reviews you see on yelp are from before they had new ownership. Give this place a shot!

Amazing services and attention to detail, felt like I was being pampered to the max here!! Highly recommend coming if you want to be treated very well and have your nails come out beautifully! Everyone was so nice and welcoming and Justin had amazing recommendations for nail styles/type!

Onion Creek Nails in South Austin is my favorite spot for nails, they always do such a great job! Their manicures and pedicures are super consistent, and the attention to detail is amazing. I recently tried their Gel X nails, and I was honestly blown away. I usually go every three weeks, but between traveling and a busy schedule, I couldn’t make it back until a month and a half later, and they still looked great! The quality is seriously impressive. The salon has a really nice vibe, and the staff is always so kind and professional. If you’re looking for long-lasting, high-quality nails, I definitely recommend giving them a try.

All the staff are so sweet- Justin always makes sure to say hi and check in even if he’s not doing my nails! Competitive pricing, and they are quick but do great work. Very efficient. Happy to call this my local salon. And will continue to be a repeat customer!!! ❤️💅

I have been a regular here for over a year and I wouldn’t be willing to go anywhere else. They’ve done my mani pedi for all my vacations, my wedding, etc and I’ve never been disappointed. This is a family owned nail shop and you feel that in the way they greet you, treat you, and their overall service. They recently upgraded their system and layout - it’s sooo nice now. They’re known for acrylics, have so many color choices, and are fast!!!

It may be in a sketchy strip next to a gas station, but don’t judge a book by its cover! I’m VERY happy with the services I’ve received so far. Almost too good to be true. Both times I’ve gone in now I’ve been greeted by very friendly staff, had my nails done in record time while still feeling taken care of. This is my second manicure here and both times have been like a dream. Speedy, completely pain and nick free, and beautifully finished. Lyly has helped me both times and she’s great at her job, I’ve seen Justin work too and he definitely knows what he’s doing too. This is my spot from now on 👍🏽

First time trying out a nail salon in Austin and I'm glad I chose this one. I came soon as they opened for a French tip pedicure "update pedicure"and Thomas did AMAZING! The scrub the other u technique made me feel so good I dozed off a few times. Thomas took his time and did my toes exactly how I wanted. Thank you for this! 10 out of 10!

I love this spa, every one here is very friendly and respectful and they all do amazing job.. Justin and lily are very sweet and I always feel like a Queen here, Justin know just what I like and I'm always so happy to come back and exited because I know I'm going to be pampered and feel beautiful after I leave, thank you all for being so nice to me!!

Been going here for years. Had some great service. They recently did a remodel and I'm loving it even more. I usually just go for pedicures or a simple mani. But today I decided to get a full set with a specific design I wanted and I love it. She did a great job!!

It was an amazing experience not what I expected since I would come across this place all the time. I finally decided to give them a chance and the services for the price were beyond worth it. Got a complimentary drink and felt so relaxed 10/10 would come again ♥️♥️

Justin did my nails today. This is the second time I go with him and when I tell you he is a perfectionist from top to bottom he really is. His work is so meticulous and on point. I love the way my nails come out. You shouldn’t be disappointed at the end of service because he keeps asking you every step “do you like it” “is this fine” “do you want to change anything” so that’s really on you if you didn’t say anything because he really takes pride on his work and wants you to be happy. Overall I’m so satisfied and I will be going back to him.

Very clean. The staff were very nice and fast. But maybe too fast. I came in for a pedicure and it went by almost too fast for me to enjoy the process. It seemed a little rushed, and it shows. the polish job doesn't look professional in my opinion. I got regular polish instead of gel because it holds pretty well on my toes. The experience was very pleasant but i wish they took their time a little more and did a better job with the polish; this is what i would expect if i did my nails at home, but not what i would expect from a professional . Update: originally i gave them only 3 stars but i am adding a star to this review because of the manager’s response to my original review. I haven’t had time go back, but i really appreciate him being willing to fix my polish.

This was my first experience EVER at a salon getting acrylic toes and I am obsessed! Michael was absolutely wonderful and thorough throughout the entire process. I was very much relaxed the whole appointment, will most definitely be returning with him!

This was my first time going to this nail salon, and I must say I was very pleased with the customer service and the quality of work done. The salon was not super packed which I truly enjoyed being able to breathe in there, and was treated and tended to quickly. I’m a very busy person and I was in and out which made me love it more, and they payed attention to detail. Definitely coming back thanks Justin for doing a great job
