An amazing hair salon with the most amazing hairstylists. This was my first haircut in 2-3 years since my main hairstylist from los gatos moved away, and I decided to go to this salon judging on the reviews and photos. I’m so happy to say that this place exceeded my expectations!! Dare I say better than all my past haircuts! Rocio knew exactly what haircut to frame my face and make me look like a completely different person, and Paulina did my tinsels so beautifully I’m obsessed! It was a first and they both made it such a welcoming and positive experience. Thank you both!!

I started going to paulina in October of 2023 after a devastating divorce. I came in to feel better about myself in a rough time, and I am so grateful I did. I always receive the best care and customer service every time I stop by. I initially came to paulina with babylights and she was able to transition me to plantmum blond in multiple sessions per her advice. When I first came to her my hair was very dry and was not in the best condition, but she educated me on what products to use and helped me get my hair to a strong healthy state for being bleached. Her mother Rocio has also done work on my hair and I always love when she is around in the salon. Rocio is the sweetest, and makes the energy very warm and loving. I never dread my hair appointments because I always have a great time catching up with them. The salon is very clean and cozy. Paulina and I have done so many different things with my hair and tried lots of different colors, but the best part is she treats my hair with so much care that my hair quality is better than what I came with. I've moved to south San Francisco and I still drive to paulina for my appointments. I am so grateful to have found such a fun and caring hairstylist who has the knowledge to educate me on how to care for my hair. Thank you so much paulina and Rocio I love you guys !

I needed an updo for a holiday party that was "Disco Formal" themes. And wow! They delivered exactly that! I didn't know my hair could get that much volume! Definitely recommend!

Paulina has yet again saved the day from all my hair color catastrophes!! Her mother and coworkers are always such a joy to be around. I love coming in and being able to trust her with any suggestions she has. I HIGHLY recommend🫶🏻!!!

Daisy was able get me copper hair from dark brown hair without bleach! Very happy with the color and how quick the service was. Very easy to schedule appointment.

Let me start off by saying, I have been coming to Onyx hair salon for almost two years now and I ALWAYS leave feeling super content and confident with the way my hair turns out! Paulina is my hairstylist and she is AMAZING. She’s always super sweet, and energetic. Love her 🩷 Today she worked magic on my hair, she got me to the hair color I wanted without any bleach which was crazy to me 🤩 Still in awe of the way the color turned out. Great place! Owned by mom & daughter. They were super accommodating to me. I was in town on a road trip and needed my extensions removed after camping for a long week and she was able to squeeze me in, remove them, and give me a great scalp massage and a blow out. Would 100% guarantee.

It’s always such a joy having Paulina as my hairstylist! I visited Onyx several times this year and she continues to exceed expectations. Her expertise, kindness, and willingness to accommodate are reasons why I keep coming back. Some of the services I’ve received are: haircuts, hair curling, blowouts, the 3-1 Flower and Leaf Molecular Repair Treatment.

Paulina is absolutely incredible! She completely revitalized my hair turning it from lackluster blonde to vibrant dark cherry cola which I ADORE!!! What’s even more impressive is that she accommodated me on short notice. I had such a fantastic experience and time with her. Thanks Paulina for your warm and energetic personality ☺️☺️☺️ P.S. Rocio does a great job with my hair. She did an awesome job with my color this visit and Rachel did excellent with my cut and style. It's a very welcoming atmosphere whether you want to chat away or just sit and enjoy your pampering time they make it a comfortable environment.

Absolutely amazing salon! Called for a last minute blow out for a wedding I was in town to attend. No other salon could get me in BUT ONYX DID! Daisy did my hair and it came out amazing! She was simply great! It held all night in heavy winds and all our pics came out great! I couldn't have been happier!

Hi everyone! I wanted to give a honest review, so I waited a while ( 4 weeks). You know that when you first get your hair cut and color it's awesome, but then you start to find something you don't like. Well that is not the case with mine! Rocio did an awesome job, I loved it on the first day and I love it today! The cut is just how I wanted it! it's full (I have fine hair and need help with volume) it's growing like crazy!!! My color and babylights are just as nice as the day she did them and I am always getting complements, The best one is from my husband! Rocio is worth the time and money, her salon is cute, clean and I have had a nice time at each visit. I so recommend Onyx!!! Can't wait for my next visit. :)

Just got my hair cut and bleached here, and it was truly an amazing experience. Both hairdressers who handled my hair were spectacular. Always checking in with me, understanding what I wanted. And best of all made me feel very comfortable. The salon was very clean. I would love to go here again.

La atención excelente, el corte y el color de pelo me encanto, Rocyo muy profesional en su trabajo es la primera vez que la conocí y es una excelente estilista ama lo que hace y se ve reflejado en su trabajo. Showed up a little late but Rocio was waiting for me. She made sure my daughter was comfortable and was very friendly. She did an exceptional job at cutting my hair I’m very happy and will be a regular customer coming to see her every 2 weeks.
